She was incredibly easy to communicate with, had such a calm and trustworthy demeanor, and was very professional and thorough throughout Charlotte's stay. She even fit Charlotte into her schedule when she didn't have to, which I truly appreciated. She went above and beyond in every way—even giving Charlotte a bath before I picked her up! I received daily videos, prompt responses to every message and check-in, and it was obvious Charlotte was having a wonderful time. She kept her entertained, happy, and well cared for the entire stay. This was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. Knowing Charlotte was in such great hands allowed me to truly relax while I was away. “I'm just so pleased with Dalia after my dogs' first stay with her! They're generally very anxious with new people. Dalia said that has typically not been an issue for her and turns out she was right! They seemed to really love her and warmed up quickly. She sent loads of video and photo updates and let me know how they were adjusting, which was WELL! She played ball with them and gave them time go romp in her large backyard but also walked them daily. She even sent a photo of them cuddling with her daughter on the sofa. Their stay with her was fairly short but I'm so impressed with how quickly they settled with her and how she invited them in as part of her family for the time she had them. I'll absolutely be sending my babies back to Dalia's anytime I leave town!”

About: Mine was a dog family. My parents showed Chow Chows and Bichon Frisés at dog shows around the country with me in tow as a junior handler grooming, training, and caring for our dogs. In college, rather than wait tables, I worked as a kennel assistant and then as a veterinarian assistant during post-grad, spending weekends caring for medical boarders, administering meds and keeping lonely, isolated dogs company. I’m a deeply attached and passionate rescue advocate and animal-lover. My pets have all been mostly large, lovable mixed-breed dogs and second-chance stories like Betsey. Before starting Betsey & Julie Walk Dogs, I spent the past year as a Dog Handler at Pawlins Day Care — under the tutelage of all kinds of dogs. I’m a freelance writer and I work from home. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with Robin and her sister who have lots of experience with dogs. Molly will be staying with them again in the future for sure!”
