“I waited to put in a review and now the third time my 4 pound dog, Ruby has stayed with Lauren and Ben. My little girl goes crazy with excitement when she is walking up to their house. She walks in like it’s her place and has made friends with the resident big dog. Lauren and Ben are kind and send pics daily so I know for sure my little one is loved and part of their family when I need to travel for work. I’ve also seen a big positive change in confidence for Ruby.”

“David was very easy to work with and responded quickly to our questions/ concerns. Our dogs had access to a few enclosed acres on the property which was great for the dogs...a beautiful setting as well. Our 3 dogs got along well with David's dogs and another visiting dog. Most important, I felt our dogs were in good hands with David.”

“It’s a match! I was having a little trouble finding a good sitter for my dog, but I think I’ve found the one with Heather and Calob. Starting off, communication was excellent and many photos were sent. They greeted us in a low stress manner and we were able to chat for a while. I can’t actually ask Dallas how he liked the stay but from what I can tell he did fine. He got to go on lots of walks, socialize with other small dogs, and sleep in fuzzy blankets and beds. Life was good.”

“Very happy with Jennifer looking after our dog. She took great photos of him and sent us updates of his stay. We just picked him up and he's one happy and very tired dog! We will definitely have her look after him again. Highly recommend!”

“Our dog had a great time Thank you so much!!!!! Bernadette mad us feel very comfortable Thank you for the great pictures that you send us during our trip so we can see Maybe Thank you”

“Had a really good experience with Patricia while we were in out of town. She was reliable, easy to communicate with, and took great care of Bo while we were away. We appreciated the updates and knowing she was being looked after. It made traveling a lot less stressful, and we came home to a happy dog. Would definitely use her and her nice family again!”

“Leslie is a wonderful person who took great care of our two dachsunds. She is also an amazing chef - We will definitely work with her again soon and highly recommend her to anyone.”

“We had a great experience with Angela and her kind son! They took wonderful care of Bo for two days and kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Bo came home happy, healthy, and well cared for. We've already booked for them to watch Bo again and I recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and kind pet sitters.”

About: I will spoil your dog with attention and provide you with complete peace of mind. You can rest assured that your dog is safe and happy and getting the care you specify (such as health needs or special diet) and the love your dog wants (games, walks, toys, treats, hugs, and other canine amusements). My work is part-time, online, and at my own pace, so I can easily shift my attention to your dog's needs for walks and playtime. I have a small fenced yard with artificial grass, and there is a large park at the end of the street, two or three small parks in the neighborhood, and a 2-mile trail to downtown. I have whatever a dog needs but ideally, pets should arrive with their own favorite "furniture," toys, and treats.

“Ana was absolutely amazing with my Goldendoodle! She took such great care of him, kept me updated, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. “Deborah did an excellent job of watching my fur baby, Chico. Being that he is elderly and usually only watched by family members, I was a little nervous. Deborah put me at ease and provided video updates throughout Chico’s stay. I would absolutely recommend her.”

“I spend the vast majority of my time with my dog Maple and this was my first time using Rover. Oksana was wonderful! Very loving and attentive, and an excellent communicator. “Melissa was so thoughtful and kind to both Daisy and I. It was our first time leaving Daisy since we adopted her. Melissa took the time to let us visit her home for a meet-and -greet and sniffs of her property a few days before Daisy’s stay. Melissa was so thoughtful and attentive to Daisy’s needs. I have no doubt that Daisy is in good hands with Melissa .”

About: I've cared for dogs for friends over the years, and it's always been a rewarding experience. I'm excited to spend my summer meeting new dogs and providing them with loving, dependable care. I grew up with dogs and have experience with puppies as well—we once took in a stray who turned out to be pregnant, so I got firsthand experience helping care for a litter. Being around dogs has always been a big part of my life, and I enjoy giving them the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. I have a pretty flexible schedule and I can work with whatever your schedule is as long as I have a heads up. I am off work all summer so I can plan around things! I can also take your dog to the groomers etc. I have a fully fenced yard where your dog can safely play, plus a nearby trail for walks and a green space just a couple of blocks away for even more outdoor time. I provide attentive, personalized care and genuinely enjoy spending time playing with dogs, taking them on walks, and making sure they feel comfortable and happy. I'm also happy to come to your home for walks or drop-in visits. Whether your pup has a specific routine, feeding schedule, medication needs, or favorite activities, I'll follow your instructions carefully to ensure they receive the same loving care they're used to. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, well cared for, and loved while you're away.
About: Walks through Armstrong Redwoods are a favorite activity. I have a large yard and a dog friendly house. I have a couple of years experience working in a veterinary clinic giving me experience medicating animals, including giving injections. I have a pool for dogs who love to swim! I was a volunteer and puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence back in the mid to late 1980's, and a Puppy Petter for Assistance Dog Institute in the early 2000's. I've also kept busy with boarding in my home for friends and acquaintances. I love dogs!! I have Sundays and Mondays off from my full time job, but I can fit in a nice walk after 4 pm most other days. When I have someone's dog, they get my full attention; we play, exercise, snuggle. My focus is providing an enriching experience for your dog .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
