“cannot say enough good things about [Dog Sitter’s Name]. From the very beginning, communication was clear, prompt, and friendly, which instantly gave me peace of mind. [He/She/They] took the time to understand my dog’s routine, personality, and little quirks, and it really showed in the care provided. Throughout the stay, I received regular updates and photos, and it was obvious that my dog was happy, comfortable, and well-loved. When I came home, everything was spotless, and my pup was relaxed and content (a true sign of great care!). It’s not easy to trust someone with your furry family member, but Jewell exceeded all expectations. Reliable, caring, and professional — I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who treats your dog like their own.”

“Rebeca is the absolute best! We receive detailed messages about her visits with our pup, along with the cutest photos and videos. We know Beau is always in the absolute best hands with Rebeca and she is always very punctual with her visits! She is also very flexible and understanding for alterations in our normal schedule.”

“Evelyn treated Stella like her own: was eager to check on it, noticed ailments and resolved them. She communicated on the dot and left no room for any mishaps. I'll be having her take care of Stella again at the earliest time available!”

“Sonja was amazing! She was available last minute on a holiday weekend and did great with making me feel comfortable (it was my first time using this service). She also took time to let my cautious dog warm up, my pets were well taken care of! Will definitely recommend her and be using her again! :)”

“Kailea took excellent care of our three doggos! We were visiting Sarasota, but will definitely contact her again if we need pet care on future visits. Thanks, Kailea!”
“She goes ABOVE AND BEYOND the duty of care! She not only loved my pup and gave her ample attention, but she helped with some reptile care. Always gave updates in both words and pictures that helped ease the mind. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Emma was fantastic with our 8 year old dog while we were away for Thanksgiving. She provided multiple pictures and updates during her drop in visits and gave her lots of love. We were hesitant to leave our baby but Emma immediately put our minds at ease and I’m so happy we decided to give Rover another try. Thanks again Emma!!!”

About: I’ve always had pets since I was a child. Cats, Yellow Labs, Jack Russells, and I currently have a fur baby Kevin (130 pound Panda German Shepherd who is my whole life). I also have years of pet sitting experience from roughly 2018-2024. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time for drop ins/ walks! The earliest I go into work is 8:30am so I have time in the early mornings and the latest I’m at work is usually 5pm so PLENTY of time in the evenings. I’m typically off work Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays so always available then as well. I’m always very cautious about the safety of others animals and ensuring your fur babies are taken care of the way I would take care of mine. Super careful when entering and exiting houses to make sure no escapees (my Jack Russell used to be sneaky and try to escape and she was FAST so my anxiety won’t allow that to happen to anyone else’s animals lol). I will give your pet so much love I promise!
About: I have experience caring for dogs and cats for friends, family, and paid clients, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. My top priority is keeping your pet safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. I offer dog walks and drop-in visits (cats & dogs), and I will follow your pet’s routine. I am patient and gentle with pets who may feel anxious to help them feel at ease. I’m happy to provide crate care and administer non-injectable medications. I love spending time with pets through walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. I am experienced with pets of all ages and I always aim to send photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. I work M-F 9-5 but I am available on weekdays after 5:30pm and fully available on weekends. I can make accommodations to this schedule on a case-by-case basis. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable and secure. I follow your instructions closely and always respect your home, routines, and expectations. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I’m attentive to secure doors, gates, leashes, and surroundings during every visit and walk. As a large-breed owner myself, including experience with breeds such as German Shepherds and Pitbulls, I am comfortable handling bigger, strong dogs and prioritizing calm, controlled care at all times. I maintain a clean environment, carefully follow feeding and non-injectable medication instructions, and keep a gentle, steady presence to help pets feel safe and at ease, especially those who may be anxious. I also provide regular photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is in loving care.
“Jessica was great with the cats. She followed the directions we left for her and the cats warmed up to her quickly. Would definitely recommend and rebook her for future trips.”

“Tracy is top-notch. She has helped me out a number of times, is very reliable and Ginger loves her. As a cat Dad I am grateful and feel assured when I have to go out of town. Highly recommended and appreciated.”

About: Taking care of animals isn’t just a job to me, it’s a hobby! Giving them the proper care they need brings me happiness everyday! I’ve had animals since I was 5 years old, and I’ve learned so much as a I got older. Making sure they get enough exercise by going on long walks, being properly fed ,and giving them love and attention is my main priority! I will love your fur babies like my own and give them the best care they need. I’m currently working in a restaurant, so it depends on whenever you need me and how long you need me to stay, we can work around it! In your home I’ll first make sure your fur baby trusts me and gets used to me as I know I’m a new person in their home. I’ll make sure they’re properly fed with your schedule, bathe them if need be, taking them on walks every couple of hours, and giving them one on one attention. Their safety and health is also one of my main priorities. If I feel in any way they are in danger, I will take any necessary actions to make sure they are safe and well.
About: I may be new to Rover, but I’ve been running a “private flight crew” for dogs in my apartment community for the last three years. Now that we’ve moved into a home with a yard, I’m able to expand my guest list and offer more First-Class stays. I specialize in creating a calm, boutique boarding experience with small groups, gentle structure, and tons of personal attention. My background is in real, in-home care for dogs of all personalities — seniors, shy pups, social butterflies, and everything in between — and I focus on safe introductions, cozy routines, and individualized care so every pup feels secure and completely at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — it’s part of my everyday “flight plan.” I work from home and stay hands-on throughout the day, so the pups enjoy consistent attention, yard time, play, treats, and snuggles. My husband, Riley, is also a co-pilot in our little operation, and for reasons unknown, every pup decides he’s their instant favorite — I’ve accepted it. Together we keep a calm, steady rhythm with morning potty breaks, midday activity, afternoon naps, and evening walks or yard zoomies. Because we only host a small number of dogs at a time, each pup gets the time, structure, and companionship they need to feel completely comfortable and cared for. When pups stay in our home, they live right alongside us — part of the household, never tucked away or left alone in a separate space. I tailor each dog’s care to match their routine and personality: slow introductions for shy pups, structured play for energetic guests, cozy rest areas for nappers, and plenty of enrichment throughout the day. I supervise all interactions to keep the environment peaceful and positive, and I follow your feeding, medication, and comfort instructions exactly as you share them. Riley is also involved in the day-to-day care (and yes, he somehow becomes everyone’s favorite within minutes). With only a small number of dogs at a time, we’re able to give each pup thoughtful, individualized attention and create a safe, familiar, truly home-like experience.
About: I grew up with 50-gallon fish tanks, 3 big dogs and one small one, and I rescued a cat recently. I love animals so much!!! If I had a house just for rescues I would. I am waiting to hear to volunteer at Humane society. I currently have 2 part times in Sephora and cotton on kids. And I am in college online but I can always make more into my schedule. I am always looking to fill my extra time. I am always ahead of my schoolwork and on time for my job. I grew up with different animals and the proper care they each need so I have a full understanding of how all of them work. And also, once my oldest dog got elderly, he went blind and had to go on medication and I always took care of him when I was 13 and had no problem.
“Stephenie I is a Godsend! We had been in St Armand’s for two months but at the last minute needed to find an experienced sitter for a day of drop-in visits. Stephanie is someone who has earned my respect and trust because of the way she treats my 16-year old bossy and fussy and not all that friendly Papillon. He took to Stephanie immediately! Stephanie followed all instructions to perfection, sent us photo updates before and after every visit - and we came home to a happy dog! We will definitely hope to use Stephanie again. And we absolutey recommend her for you with confidence.”

Oakwood Manor pet parents share their Rover experiences
Maggie was absolutely amazing with our animals! She went above and beyond by sending us daily updates and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our pets adore her and always get so excited when she comes to the house! She’s caring, reliable, and clearly loves what she does. I highly recommend Maggie to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and passionate to care for their pets!
I booked Gina VERY last minute for two weeks to feed and visit my 3 cats plus my daughter's cat. We did two meets before and after the first, I completely felt great vibes. I have one cat, Oliver that never comes out for anyone other than us. I got a picture of him on I think her second visit! She was wonderful about sending pics and updates. She let them out on my lanai to get some fresh air on her visits. Really can't say enough good things about her. Will definitely be booking her for future visits and house stays next time!
Maggie was absolutely incredible! I was so lucky to have found her. She was so patient with my pups and their anxiety with my being gone. It looked like they warmed right up to her. She communicated daily and took pictures. They had a few accidents and Maggie was so pleasant about everything. I would definitely recommend her.
