About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, from a 15lbs mini golden to a 130lbs mastiff. I love taking long walks no matter the weather (as long the dog is comfortable!) and have experience with senior dogs who require a lot of love and attention, and sometimes lots of medication. If your pet had specific needs, I can certainly make sure they’re taken care of the best way they can be! I have similar experience with cats, caring for teething kittens and senior cats who need extra attention. I love cats, but I understand sometimes they take longer to warm up. I don’t mind just hanging around until they feel comfortable enough to come up to me themselves. My number one priority is making sure your pet is comfortable and cared for. I’m a full time college student who’s lived in the Dayton area my whole life, allowing me to watch pets in the area year round (I’m a rising senior at the University of Dayton). I currently have an online internship, but it’s unpaid and I don’t get a lot of work to do. I have lots of time to devote to taking care of your critters. I’m willing to stay with pets for as long as they need, whether that means overnight or just some company during the day. I’m patient with pets that are wary of strangers; I do what I can to respect their boundaries. I will always wait until they’re comfortable enough to come up to me. I have a dog at home who is very nervous around new people. Because she’s so big we have to be very careful of how we introduce her to people. She’s a high maintenance lady, that’s for sure! But she loves just having company, and I know that many pets just want to have someone to be around.

“This is our second time using Jenna as a sitter for our girls. She is very diligent about making sure the dogs are safe and getting along. The environment seems like it’s well controlled and she cares enough about the dogs to get her yard professionally taken care of so that they in the future will be able to play in her back yard. Also upon my dogs coming home my husband notified me that her husband noticed that one box of treats I bought for the dogs was actually meant for people to consume NOT dogs. Thankfully they caught it in time cause I didn’t realize someone put it in the dog section at the store. I’m positive we avoided a hefty doctors note. We received regular updates and pictures which we love. When we picked her up yesterday she seemed fine and happy. When we got her home, she fell deeply asleep like she does at night. She must have had a lot of activity to be so exhausted and she slept all evening except for potty time and to eating. We wish we could give her so much activity to take some weight off.
