“I left my puppy for a day with Margaret and her dogs. He was very comfortable and she instantly took care of him. Margaret was good with communication and shared constant updates and photos/videos. She kept him active that he came back home and slept instantly.”

About: Hi there! We accept small to medium-sized dogs (20 pounds max or less) and typically care for no more than 4 dogs at a time. Under our careful supervision, your pup can interact and play freely, enjoying both the house and our spacious, clean, secure and fenced-in backyard. They are not confined to kennels or cages, and can sleep wherever they feel comfortable, whether in the open or in their own crate. We have many nooks and crannies for the pups to relax in and many soft, clean blankets and pillows. They will have ample time outdoors for fresh air, exercise and fun (weather permitting), and the rest of course spent indoors, having fun, resting, playing games (we have many many puzzles and snuffle mats) and occasionally having a yummy, owner approved treat (we don't want upset tummies). They are regularly let out for potty breaks and fresh air every 1 to 2 hours, and never left unattended. WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO KNOW: We understand each dog has their own personality, likes, dislikes, and temperament. ****A meet-n-greet is required prior to the start of any service.**** -Unless arranged by special request during the week, they are usually on Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment. -Please allow enough time prior to your reservation to arrange for the meet-n-greet. LAST MINUTE REQUESTS: We will do our best to accommodate those in tight spots, but generally we only reserve this option for established clients only. VACCINATIONS: Please ensure your pup is up-to-date with vaccinations before boarding to protect them and our little ones from illnesses. PHOTOS: We know how important peace of mind is, so we send consistent, informative photos/updates/videos of your little one so that you know what they are up to and so that you can rest assured that they are doing well! LOCATION: We are located right outside of Ann Arbor - perfect spot near highways and shops! MEDICATION: Yes, we do provide, however, we do not provide service to pets that are sick/ill/recovering/ or need medical attention during their stay. We do provide service to pets that are in good health but require maintenance medications, with vets' approval. FIRST AID/CPR: As of November 2024, we are actively working on finding a reputable organization to refresh our human and pet first aid and CPR certification! ABOUT OUR LITTLE ONES: Archie and Roxy are our two adorable, little terriers who love to have fun - they would be co-hosting with me. My husband works from home, so there is generally always someone home. Either my husband, who works from home, or I will be on hand to supervise the dogs at all times. Ensuring your dogs' safety is my highest priority. A LITTLE ABOUT US: My husband and I are super responsible, incredibly loving dog parents. I was raised with dogs, and other animals, as was my husband (who grew up on a farm here in Michigan). Combined, we have closer to 20 plus years of experience in taking care of our own furbabies, those of our neighbors, and various other kinds of pets. We've been there, worried and stressed out over having to find someone trustworthy who will treat and love our little ones with the same level of care and concern that we do! Being super loving, very protective, and knowledgeable pet parents ourselves, we know full well how stressful it can be to rely on someone else. We are great communicators and continuously strive to educate ourselves and learn about the best new dog products, services, treats, etc. Please rest assured that we will do our best to answer your questions and concerns. It's always a joy to connect with fellow pet parents who are just as devoted and loving to their family members as we are to ours! My schedule tends to be flexible. My husband works from home as well- it’s a joy to have little ones running around! There is always someone at home with a watchful eye - your pup will never be left alone. The importance of temperament cannot be overstated; if there are particular household rules to increase the comfort of your furbaby, I will follow them to the letter. I would like to know if he/she has any medical issues, special needs, etc. A veterinarian's contact information and instructions would be required if medication is needed - this of course also applies if they have special dietary needs, allergies, etc.

“Simi has watched Mabel several times now. Simi is very thorough and shares many updates/photos throughout the day which is appreciated. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a dog sitter option. It’s an added bonus that Simi also has a friendly dog (Shadow) that Mabel can play with during the day. Very happy that I found Simi as a pet sitter option.”

“Nicole really helped us out by taking our young boy for the day when our planned sitter couldn’t watch him. Nicole has a beautiful/clean home and a large fenced in area to keep our speedy boy safe and happy, Both my girlfriend and I feel secure in our decision of sitter and look forward to having a safe place for us to drop Loki off if needed! Thank you Nicole!”

“Novah had a great day with Rachel and Michael and Ember! Novah loved running in their very large fenced in yard. Rachel went out of her way to make sure everything went smoothly. And Michael spent a long time with Novah outside playing with her and working on training activities. I highly recommend Rachel if you want a fun and safe place for your dog for day care! Thank you Rachel and Michael! Novah is excited to see you all again soon!”

“Maria was so great. Got many updates. Even a nice quick one after i left because Molly was a little timid to have me leave, she can be shy at first. I was sad to leave her on her first doggie daycare. But Marie made everything great, she shared multiple pictures that she warmed up and went on walkies and she seemed to have a great time. I hope to make this a weekly occasion! It was nice to be stress free at work.”

“Katie was very accommodating and took our three dogs in for the night in a very short notice. She took care of the dogs very well and kept us informed on how they were doing. Will use her again if we are back in town.”

“Aubry watched our dog for 3 days this week while we were having some work done at our house. She is incredibly prompt & flexible, and super fun & friendly. It was clear that our dog was comfortable with her almost immediately and made herself right at home - she really took to Aubry and her husband. She seemed to love exploring their house & yard, and playing with Walter and Marley (this was her first time meeting a cat!). She can be a little timid around other dogs, but Walter was a fast friend for her; by the end of day 1, they even had a little fetch game they would play together. Romy was excited every morning when we arrived at their house, and came home tired, relaxed, and well cared for. We will definitely be booking more regular daycare sessions with Romy's new Aunt Bre - we think she already misses her & her family :)”

“Lori has been fantastic for our family when we need help for our 50lb Aussie. She is always excited when we arrive & tired when we get her back (GREAT SIGNS). Lori has great yard space, is incredibly flexible & communicative, and has puppy friends for our own pup to play with. Could not recommend anyone more, Lori is GREAT.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old. My parents surprised the family with a Chihuahua and surely he became my dog, my best friend. He was always by my side! My family relied on me to walk, feed/water and bathe him! My husband and I adopted our first cat when I was 18 years old and throughout the years we ended up adopting 2 more and 1 dog! I’m currently not working, so I have very open and free availability to play with your pets! I’m available for morning, afternoon, evening boardings and weekends as well! I don’t have a fenced in yard, but will take your dogs out on a leash. I have 1 dog that is very friendly and loves to play. I also have 3 friendly cats that love dogs!

About: I am a lifelong dog lover! I've grown up with dogs and had my own family dog for the past 25 years. I would be happy for your dog to join me and my active Dobe for some play, walks, hikes or even snuggle time. I have a large fenced dog run and I live in a wonderful rural area with lots of parks and long gravel roads for exploring and walking. I currently work from home with a lot of flexibility in my work schedule. I love a morning and afternoon walk or hik (weather permitting) with the dogs. I have a fenced dog run and a goofy Dobe to keep your dog company. My dog is fully up to date on vaccinations and our dog is truly part of our family. We are looking for doggie friends to come and play. Lots of love and attention to share!
