“Lisa was beyond amazing. She made us feel comfortable and at ease going back home for the holidays knowing that our cat was going to be taken care of. We started off with one visit a day but Lisa also offered to check on her twice since it was our cats first time being alone for so long. She kept us updated every step of the way and sent all the pics. ❤️”

“Tamar is a special treat for your fur baby! Dudley is my 16-year nine month old senior, and she gave him the best care while I was on my 4 day get-away. She went above and beyond my expectations. I hesitate to say Tamar definitely will be my back-up for Dudley, because she may be overbooked!! 😃 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Alina was fantastic as always - I only use her when we are out of town now. She is a great communicator, is thoughtful, and takes the silliest pics. She is the best! 💗”

About: I have hands on experience raising two energetic and loyal German Shepherds. I offer a balanced approach to care, with focus on creating an stress-free , fun and safe environment. I’m currently working in La Crescenta from Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:00pm so I have all afternoons free to walk or drop in on your pets while you’re away. I can also do a quick drop in from 11:30am- 12:30pm At the moment I can not care for pets in my home but in a clients home I would get clear instructions from the client for house rules, feedings, medications, etc. Get to know the home and routines of the pets and have emergency contacts to call.

“Eliana, once again, took great care of Bella. She was also super responsive when I had to contact her over a mix up with someone else getting access to the house.”

About: I have pets of my own. I see pets as part of family so the care I provide is same as for my fuzzy love bugs, lots of luv and snuggles and maybe some extra treats if permitted ;) I know what’s it like to be away from your fuzzy friends so I will provide regular updates if you wish so. Available on weekdays/ weekends- mostly flexible schedule. Can stay overnight if needed, available on holidays. Can stop by for short time to check on your pets, play with them and feed them. I am available to stop by, walk/feed and care for your dogs or cats. I am also available to stay overnight if you are traveling and need full time care for your pets.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and understand the attention, patience, and love they need at every stage. I currently have three dogs—one is a senior who’s undergone two major surgeries. I supported his recovery by administering medications, managing mobility issues, and following detailed vet care plans. Another is a rescue I’ve helped work through significant fear and trust issues. I’ve also done numerous training sessions, which have sharpened my skills and deepened my understanding of dog body language. I have standing appointments Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings, but my schedule is otherwise open and flexible. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine—mornings, evenings, weekends, or even last-minute needs. I’m happy to follow any care instructions you provide for your dog. I know every pup has unique needs, and my goal is always to help them feel happy, relaxed, and stress-free in your home.

About: I've learned how to potty train, leash train, and train animals to do tricks. My family has experience with taking care of pets which may have prescribed medication or treatments so I will work with pets which may experience as such. I can work everyday for atleast an hour. Depending on school and work from my other job I could work more. I tend to work night shifts at my regular job but I work between 2-3 shifts and week so I have plenty of availability. I respect all animals and their owners. My top priority has always been to help the pets feel safe in my presence even without their owners present.

“Sterling loves Barbara's visits! He enjoys some time getting treats, activity and pets while we're away during the day and appreciates Barbara talking and relaxing with him.”

About: ABOUT ME 😊 I grew up with a pure bred 120 pound St. Bernard, two cats, and turtle to love and care for. I've also had three hamsters, two rabbits, and a ball python along the way, so animals have always been a part of my life and extended family. I'm relied upon by friends, neighbors, and family to petsit or walk their dogs when they're on vacation, sick, or injured. I love watching Cesar Milan's show, Better Human Better Dog, and have been inspired to pursue an animal trainer's certificate. I own and run a small business remotely from home and live with a cat and a dog. I occasionally see clients at my office a mile away for in-person sessions and am gone no longer than 4 to 5 hours when not at home. AT HOME 🏠 I live in a one bedroom apartment with a spacious living room, no yard, no carpet, with hardwood/tile flooring. My lifestyle is clean and minimal. I have an outgoing cat who thinks he's a dog and a sweet and easy going dog. They’re both playful, listen to commands, and get along with other friendly dogs, cats, and people. I strictly follow the owner's instructions and pet care routine given while adding, love, cuddles, and play time as needed. I also have separate room my cat/dog can stay in if the pet I'm sitting needs a little break from other animals or alone time with me. ON WALKS 🐕 When going on walks, I like to keep dogs close enough to avoid dangerous situations yet loose enough for them to explore. Unless the owner restricts it, socializing with other dogs is fine with me so long as the other dog is leashed and willing to socialize too. I grew up with a VERY large 120 pound St. Bernard and am experienced in walking large dogs that may bolt when getting excited, so keeping them calm and re-directing them to follow my lead is a must for their safety and well-being. I like to reward good behavior with love, attention, petting, and treats. Not-so-good behavior is re-directed in a calm and firm manner, but never reprimanded nor rewarded. Regardless of the pet's behavior, patience and understanding is key! MY POLICY ⭐ * NO PEE PADS ALLOWED. I only accept dogs that are fully housebroken and trained to relieve themselves outside. I live in an apartment and cannot afford to have other dogs smell any trace of pee/poo and be tempted to instinctually “over-mark” any “territory”. * A MEET & GREET IS REQUIRED prior to booking daycare and boarding requests. Daycare Hours: 7am-6pm, all other times are considered after-hours. Walking and Drop-In Hours: 7am-8pm, all other times are considered after-hours. Boarding Pick-up/Drop-off hours: 7am-8pm, all other times are considered after-hours. * Pick-up and drop-off times must be scheduled before booking. This helps makes sure all of your pup’s stuff is ready to go when you arrive. * If you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled drop-off or pick-up, it will need to be rescheduled and will be charged a $20 late fee (plus additional Rover fees). I generally can accommodate changes in travel plans, so please let me know when plans change. * Anything scheduled during after-hours requires a fee of $40 (plus additional Rover fees). Scheduling during after-hours is not guaranteed. * Please plan your booking accordingly and be on-time to avoid the cost of fees or extended care. If your flight times are during after-hours, consider dropping-off a day before or picking-up the next day. * Please provide the following items when boarding your pet: -Food/bowls -Poop bags -Leash/collar -Bed/blankets/toys/treats (optional) * IN CASE OF ILLNESS OR MEDICAL EMERGENCY, please be prepared to provide payment directly to the care facility if your pet requires medical attention in your absence. If your preferred veterinarian or 24 hour hospital is within 5 miles of my home, then please provide that info, otherwise I will choose the closest most convenient one. If an owner does not respond to my emergency calls or texts in a timely manner or fails to provide payment for medical care, then their pet will be subject to Rover’s emergency protocol under the “Rover Guarantee” policy. Please note that I cannot cover any costs to care for your pet any time for any reason.

About: What’s the most important thing all dog owners want to know before entrusting their dogs to a stranger? Well first of all I’m from Jersey. I’ll play with your dog, make sure they’re happy, take them on a walk, not lose them, and feed them only what you tell me to feed them. No human food, I promise. Unless of course that’s in your list of food to give them. Of course hydrate them as well. I know the do’s and don’ts of a dog’s diet since I have 2 of my own. I’ve also been fostering dogs on and off for the past 3 years. I am known to be reliable and responsible, so I can assure you that you can rest easy with leaving your dog(s) in my care. Or if you have a cat, I also get along super well with them since I also have 2 of my own! I work from home so I do have some flexibility or if you need eyes on your little one for long hours I will also be able to do that. I do have 2 cats so I have pet gates up to separate my cats from any dogs. The dogs get free roaming of the living room which tends to be enough for my two dogs plus any friends they’ve had over. Routine in my home is key. At your home, I’ll stick to your routine and respect your house rules. Whatever you require, it will be respected.

“Jessica is great with our two cats. Our cats are pandemic kittens and so are shy around strangers. Jessica has cat sit for us twice now and our cats are really warming up to her. She also takes care of all the essentials (feeding, litter, etc) very well.”

“Samantha has been an absolute joy to work with these past few months. She’s reliable, thoughtful, and kind. My pup adores her. Caitlin M.
“Caitlin is AMAZING with fur babies of all kinds/breeds/sizes and they always seem to love her just as much as she loves them! She has watched my dogs many times and is someone I frequently turn to for pet advice as she has a lot of experience with dog training in her own home and handling the dynamics of multiple-dog households. Highly recommend her for any pet sitting/walking services!”

Emin H.

“Emin has been my go to dog walker, for my rescue pitbull since day 1. My dog, Bear, is leash reactive in general, but especially with other dogs, bikes etc. Emin completely eased my worries having worked with other reactive dogs before. I was so hesitant with how she would react with a stranger coming in to care for her. He had messaged me before asking if she had dietary restrictions and if he could bring treats. There has always been great communication before, during, and after walks, including picture or video updates. He has been nothing but loving, kind, and assertive, need be with Bear. I’ve also recently had Emin help with training. The training included in home manners along with on walks and outside general behavior. Emin gave me so many tips and tools to work on so we both feel confident, and work towards the secure but loving environment i’ve always wanted for my dog. I cannot recommend Emin enough! Although I would selfishly love to keep his services for me and Bear. The way she is so excited anytime he shows up, whether i’m around or not truly says it all.”

Lumiere S.
“I've been a client of her Reiki and sound healing services in the past. My 1 year old Siamese cat, Cinnamon, and I have both had amazing sessions with her. I had an emergency that required me to go out of town for a week right after she got spayed and learned she was also available to petsit after giving Cinnamon and I a Reiki and sound healing session. Lumiere was very attentive to her needs after the surgery and kept me updated on how she was doing whenever I contacted her. I felt good knowing my babygirl was in her care while I was away. Ever since then, she's been my first choice for petsitting and holistic wellness for my baby.”

Jessica T.

“Jessica is great with dogs and is as playful as a young child with their first pup. She loves to get down with them and have fun, but she is also great with keeping them on their schedule. I've trusted her with my Yorkie many times and have no complaints. ”

Cody W.

“Cody was awesome! Frankie loved him! Frankie is healthy and happy, and I know waa well cared for!”

Tomoko I.
“Tomoko is a very responsible and loving pet caretaker and someone I would highly recommend for your pets, whether for walks or home visits. She has a genuine love for animals with two cats of her own and is a very reliable person when it comes to following instructions for your pets or communicating with you as needed!”

Karen L.

“Karen has cat sat for our 13 year old cat multiple times. She is thoroughly reliable and a very warm person. I highly recommend her! Plus, she’s a very good photographer. Each time she visits she sends us many pictures of our darling Kitty.”

Shelley S.

“Five star service for my fur babes! Shelley is awesome and I recommend her to all of my friends and family. I’ve used her a handful of times and my boys know her as “Auntie Shelley” now! Not only does Shelley prepare my boys’ food as I ask (due to them being senior dogs they’re missing teeth and need their fruits/veggies chopped and kibble softened), she also gives them their vitamins and walks them. My favorite thing Shelley does for me is that sends me photo/video updates which helps me manage my separation anxiety. Thanks, Shelley!”

Oakmont pet parents share their Rover experiences
Narin was great! She came by for an intro visit to meet us and our kitties before our booking. She provided lots of pictures and a good summary of what her visit was like when she came over for the drop in. Narin was super responsive and we felt very comfortable with her caring for our cats. Will definitely be booking again!

Michael was very friendly and professional, and made sure to follow through with all requests and expectations. Although my trip was short, he gave me peace of mind knowing that my cats were well-cared for, with regular updates and photos. I appreciated his thoughtfulness and attentiveness, not only for the cats but also for my apartment. I would definitely recommend him as a sitter and will consider using his services again. Thank you Michael!

Tamar is a special treat for your fur baby! Dudley is my 16-year nine month old senior, and she gave him the best care while I was on my 4 day get-away. She went above and beyond my expectations. I hesitate to say Tamar definitely will be my back-up for Dudley, because she may be overbooked!! 😃 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Paula and Dudley got along fine! She visited him 3x per day while I was gone for 6 days. Paula checked in several times each day with positive feedback and photos. Dudley is a senior, so Paula had more responsibilities than just feeding and walking him. There were diapers to change and medicines to give him. Paula exudes kindness and empathy towards pets. I recommend that you contact her, meet with her, and book her!

Having Ruby take care of our little orange cat Cantaloupe was a dream - never once worried about how he was doing or if he was being loved on! Ruby's a great communicator: we loved the thorough updates and the many many lovely videos of them bonding. Ruby took care of everything he needed and more - he got brushed every day, which was a real treat for him! Highly recommend Ruby for loving on your pets while you're away. She will be our go-to person when we're out of town. Thank you, Ruby!!!

Exceptional service- she too great care of our cat and provided additional information to enhance care and improve the environment for the new addition to our family. My suggestion is that if you need someone to watch your pet- Pixie is the only solution to ensure peace of mind.
