“Jessie was amazing with Buddy! From the start, communication was fantastic—he kept us updated with pictures and videos. It was clear from every update that Buddy was having a blast! Buddy loved playing with Jessie’s dogs. It’s such a relief to know he was not only well cared for but also genuinely enjoying himself and making new furry friends. Jessie treated Buddy like part of the family, and we get very nervous leaving Buddy so this helped put us at ease. We are SO grateful for the excellent care Jessie provided. I’ll definitely be booking with him again, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, pet-loving sitter!”

“Kai loved it at their house! Plenty of backyard to run free and lots of attention! The updates were encouraging as this was our first time leaving Kai at sitters through Rover. Our pup was happy and so were we! I will definitely book again!”

“Jack is such a great dog care provider for our 11 yr old golden, who gets all the attention and petting and couch-time he could dream of - he feels secure and so do we! Many photos with Jack's funny captions help us get a sense of Murphy's adventures :)”

“I am beyond happy with Kelly. She took such good care of Molly. I received pictures everyday and Molly always looked so happy. Will definitely be using Kelly again to take care of Molly.”

“Ashley was wonderful! Oreo had a great weekend with her. He can be nervous but she calmed him which was very reassuring for us! We would highly recommend her. Thank you again! Tina and John Duffy”

About: We've had 2 dogs who have unfortunately left us. Mickey was an 80 pound pit bull that I did everything with - walking, running, hiking, sleeping, traveling. I still miss him every day. One year after his passing we adopted a senior (9 yo) pit bull mix, Bella. Shortly after adopting Bella she was found to have heartworm. We were able to nurse her through the treatments back to health. Bella was a lazy girl who didn't have the energy level Mickey did but she was sweet and we spoiled her the 2 years we had her. I miss having a dog but my wife said "no more." Providing a service through Rover will help me get my "dog fix." Although I have used to pronoun "we" in my pet care experience that refers to our past 2 dogs. Going forward I will be the sole provider. I am retired so I have all kinds of free time to provide daily walks and the option for having overnight stays in our home. We have had dogs for 13 or so years and I am very capable in providing the care and attention to safely provide for them.

“I can always tell when Oakley has a good time because he returns home tired and peaceful. Deborah's home was a perfect example of this. Deborah was easy to communicate with and her home is set up to provide a comfortable space for our 100+ pound active dog, which is a huge value to us. Thank you!”

“I have a very high energy, 120 lb German Shepherd, and I worry about boarding him because of his initial impression. I cannot say enough good things about Jess & Christopher. They set up a meet and greet so we were able to meet them, and their dog, before his stay. They were flexible with drop off and pick up times, excellent communication through his stay, gave him medication as requested, and did everything possible to make it a great experience overall. I’m getting ready to book Coopers will definitely be staying with them again, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter!”

“Oh my gosh. I cannot say enough nice things about Jessica and her husband. They were absolutely lovely. And very reasonably priced. Super quick with communication and sent lots of photos. It takes my youngest dog a while to warm up to anyone and she warmed up to them unbelievably quickly. I plan on using Jessica again anytime I can, and recommend her to anyone. My dogs jumped on her coffee table the minute they walked into her house, and she just laughed. I knew she was good from that minute on. Thank you Jessica! ❤️”

“I had a fantastic experience with Carol. She took excellent care of my two dogs, providing constant updates that kept me at ease throughout. Her attentiveness and communication made the entire experience comfortable and worry-free.Highly recommend! A wonderful setter.”

“beverly. you are the best sitter ever! our Lilly just loves you and ur husband too. it’s been such a comfort and blessing to have her available to us for vacations or whatever. i’m so grateful for her!”

“Dani was great with my dog Ringo. She played with him tons, and even gave him a bath. She sent updates and pictures, even a video to show how happy he was playing with his friends. I highly recommend her!”

“I can't praise Melissa enough. She took excellent care of Chloe. She was also willing to adjust my dates if I decided to stay out of town an extra day. I'm already looking into booking Melissa again for our next vacation. 😀”

“Catherine and Richard treated Georgie very well! He ate well which is a sure indication and when I picked him up, he was very happy to share his good news that he had fun. They sent me pics of a walk by the canal, across fence interaction with the neigbor’s dog in their lovely yard, and Georgie resting and cuddling with them on the blankets.”

“Kim watched my 5-year-old Bulldog/Beagle mix for 10 days while we were traveling and we couldn't be happier. This was my first time leaving her and she unexpectedly had to have emergency surgery only 2 days before we left, but this turned out to be no concern at all. Kim knew exactly what to do, guided her through recovery, administered her medication, etc. Kim was easy to contact before/during the trip and, from daily photos/video she sent, it was obvious Beryl was having a great time and she was very happy/healthy when we picked her up. I would definitely use her again.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs both large and small, young and old, for as long as I can remember! I got my first dog when I was 3 years old, and have had a dog by my side ever since! I have dog sat for friends and family members with dogs of all different breeds, backgrounds and ages. My first job as a teenager was at a local dog kennel & vet office where I learned a lot about helping a dog feel safe and comfortable while away from home! We have a dog (35lb 2 y/o golden doodle) who absolutely loves making new friends, and a cat who keeps to herself but gets along well with other animals when she does come out to play. My husband works from home and my work schedule is flexible meaning the pets are not frequently home alone. I have a very flexible work schedule paired with my husband working from home most days of the week to prevent extended time home alone for any pets. We have a dog who loves to make new friends and a cat who is comfortable around dogs but tends to keep to herself. We have a large yard and go outside with the dogs (on leash) to ensure they stay safely in the yard at all times.

“Stacey is amazing! My dog Adler had a great stay with her & she sent me some sweet photos of him in her yard. Adler is a special needs dog & Stacey took great care of him. I would definitely recommend Stacey!”

“Michelle was the best! She was very communicative, and sent pictures daily of Honey. This was Honey's 2nd time being away from us in the 7 years we've had her. She made her feel comfortable and right at home. I will definitely being using her in our future travels. I highly recommend Michelle. You will not be disappointed!”

William M.
“I can’t think of a better person to care for a pet than Bill. He is patient and loving with the pets that he had. He had a couple of dogs that died of old age and cared from them right till the end as though they were his dearest friends. He would regularly walk them multiple times per day and nurse them when they were ill. His most recent dog was an elderly dog that he got from a shelter. The dog was not in good health yet he cared from the and gave him a loving, safe place to live out his last few years. Bill would make a great pet caregiver.”
