I am currently owned by a very vocal cockatiel with separation anxiety, named Sonny, and a 1 1/2 year old bearded dragon named Izzie. She’s our princess and spoiled rotten! Recently we’ve unfortunately had to put our 14 year old black lab Bocefus to sleep. He was my best friend for as long as I can remember. It was the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do. So I connect with the elderly animals as much as the young ones. I have been raised with all sorts of animals, from rehabbing baby field mice & rabbits, I couldn’t leave alone to die as it’s parents were gone, to birds and reptiles and even turtles. I even dabble in some insect keeping as feeders for our bearded dragon! I have yet to find an animal that hasn't loved me as much as I loved them! I have a passion for working with stubborn animals. Maybe because I too can be stubborn? I guarantee your animals will be happy, spoiled and loved just as much as they would be by you, their best friend. I’m always willing to learn and help care for other breeds of animals as well, just ask. Unfortunately the last few years have been the most trying of my life and I’ve had to have many surgery’s to correct problems in my stomach leading to me not having much of one left. So as it stand I currently am unable to work a full time job. As poor as that is it means I have lots of free time to care for your critters as well as my own! Your pets will always be my number one priority. I have a reliable vehicle and am willing to make as many trips as you need to make you and your fur (or scaled/feathered) baby’s comfortable. I’m well versed in cage/kennel cleaning. I’m always willing to go the extra mile to help however I can with your pets. I enjoy playtime / exercise time as much as the pets do! I’m also a quick learner so any special requests will be followed perfectly after being shown the first time!

“My girl Shayla was practically adopted into Ian's family for 4 days. They have a little son, and he turned out to be the most enthusiastic playmate of Shayla. I was so thrilled to hear about their long walks and adventures with yogurt-face-cleaning. I received several pictures and even a video while I was away. Ian was truly a wonderful caretaker, providing Shayla with family fun that is as far from the typical kennel boarding experience as one can get. Thank you, Ian!”

This speaks volumes, since she suffers from separation anxiety! Mary is always happy to accommodate *any* comfort level of communication for the dog parents and will send tons of photos of the dogs having fun during your time away, if that's your preference. “Hillarie watched our pets when we went on our cruise. Sent us photos each day, attended to our requests and always answered when we reached out. Hillarie does have other pets, but made sure to keep them separated until they became comfortable with one another. Do not let the Rottweiler scare you. He was the biggest baby, and we love him. Her children were also very mature. Great family. Great. neighborhood. Our dogs almost didn’t want to come back. We’ve gone back twice!”

They set up a meet and greet so we were able to meet them, and their dog, before his stay. They were flexible with drop off and pick up times, excellent communication through his stay, gave him medication as requested, and did everything possible to make it a great experience overall.
