About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up caring for a house full of pets—including a cat, parakeets, fish, and even a couple of snapping turtles—and have loved both cats and dogs throughout my life. As an adult, I was lucky enough to spend 11 years with our beloved German Shepherd mix, Evie. We completed obedience training together, and I have plenty of hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding, routines, training reinforcement, playtime, and all the everyday care that comes with sharing your life with a dog. As Evie got older, I also gained experience caring for a senior dog through arthritis and, eventually, a period of significant illness. Her needs changed considerably during her final months, so I’m comfortable administering oral medications, keeping an eye on changes in appetite or behavior, adapting routines for an older or less-active dog, and understanding when something just doesn’t seem quite right. I’ve also cared for pets for neighbors and understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pet while you’re away. Since losing Evie in 2022, we haven’t been ready to bring another pet into our family, so I’d genuinely love the opportunity to spend some time caring for yours. I’m dependable, attentive, patient, and—most importantly—I truly enjoy being around animals. I’m self-employed and set my own schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to work pet care into my day. I’m generally available for morning visits beginning around 8:30 AM, as well as midday and afternoon care. I can build walks, potty breaks, playtime, meals, and plenty of attention into each pet’s normal routine, and I’m happy to follow the schedule they’re accustomed to at home. I know consistency matters, especially when pets are away from their people, so I’m happy to follow the schedule they’re accustomed to at home. We are a family of four with two children, ages 10 and 7, and our home has a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and potty breaks. We don’t currently have any pets of our own, so visiting dogs won’t need to adjust to other resident animals. I know every pet has different routines, boundaries, and comfort levels, and I’ll follow your instructions closely—from feeding and walks to medications, crate routines, sleeping arrangements, and house rules. I’m also happy to learn about your pet’s personality, triggers, quirks, and favorite things before their stay so we can make our home feel as comfortable and familiar as possible.

About: I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician with 30 years experience caring for dogs, cats, pet birds, chickens, small mammals, reptiles, and other "non-traditional" pets. In addition to dogs and cats, my own pets have included rabbits, ferrets, box turtles, parrots, finches, and even a Texas spiny lizard! I had a Golden Retriever for 5 wonderful years before he passed away from cancer. He taught me so much about love, patience and responsibility that comes with caring for a pet. About: My dog, LJ Gibbs, is around 8 years old, and he truly is a man's best friend. I love playing with him, taking him on walks, feeding him, and honestly just learning who he is as a dog. Having Gibbs has taught me that every dog has their own personality, habits, and way of communicating. About: Our pet family started almost by accident. Dark night, middle of busy intersection, an elderly dog was trying to navigate traffic. No tags, hungry and mostly blind. My husband and I were able to get him into car. We took him home, fed the little guy, cleaned him up, named him Charlie. He changed our lives. Since then, we’ve been blessed us with a number of dogs and cats throughout the years. Some have not been healthy and needed care and some are just seniors! Each one has brought us joy. After many years as interior designer, retired to part time this past September 2024. Now, to pursue hobbies and life’s next adventure! My schedule is built on the value I can bring to folks that need pet care, just like Gary and I have needed for our pets over the years. You should be able to have the personal freedom you need and not worry about your precious fur babies. They will be secure in my care. Expect pics to put your mind at ease! First and foremost fur babies are family. Boundaries are set. If staying in our home, we have a safe quiet (pet) bedroom /play area. We can play soothing, calming, music. About: I have loved caring for animals since the moment my family took us to get a dog and two cats at the age of 10. I have watched animals in the neighborhood growing up and into adulthood for friends, family and Neighboor's. I have owned one dog on my own into adulthood but she is no longer with me. I love watching and meeting new animals and I’m a snuggler and attention giver! I work remotely so I can watch your kiddos at my apartment which has 3 dog parks or I can watch from the comfort of your home or walk at either space! I can go on long walks at my place, go to the dog areas at my complex or come to your home at your pets comfortable level! I am 3 weeks remote out of the month and have plenty of time to give your pet attention, going on walks and playtime. Cuddles included! Pets are free to roam my apartment and sleep in my bed! If crate training I can definitely accommodate your routine to make your per most comfortable

About: Paw-parent to the sweetest 4 year old Frenchton. As a former corporate employee in an office, I know the struggles of finding time to give dogs the attention and stimulation they deserve. I’m here to make your life a little easier and provide great care for your best friend. I’ve taken care of family pets since high school but became a first time paw-parent in 2020. My partner Johnny also helps me and he is home during the day since he works from home. I currently have lots of free time and can look over your pets almost any day of the week. Spring break is around the corner and my calendar is filling up fast. Please book soon for March dates. Furry friends will be taken out 4-5 times a day. Can accommodate to more times if needed. Pets will be kept inside the home for boarding at all times. (Potty breaks are done outside in the backyard which is fenced.) If walks are required they will only be done if the weather is safe for pets and me. My current pet Peppers will be at my home if you are boarding but in a completely different part of my home.

About: I decided to join rover because of how much I love dogs. I have a big yard and 2 dogs of my own for your baby/babies to play with! I keep my dogs mainly inside during the day with the occasional trip to the back yard. I am home all day so that allows for lots of potty breaks and playtime (weather permitting). As a hobby, I foster puppies for a rescue so I am very patient and understanding of puppy behavior. I've been fostering since 2018 and have gained tons of knowledge on dog behaviors, training, health, etc! We spend most of our time in my dog room where I have tons of toys, treats, doggy puzzles, bones, etc. The perfect playground for your furry friend I am very flexable so if you have a special request just ask! As for updates during a booking, I strive myself of being 100% honest. I want your dog to love coming here and feel at home with me. If they happen to be uncomfortable for any reason I will let you know! Nothing is more important than the right environment for your dog(s)! I am home during the day which allows for lots of playtime and potty breaks. I work away from the house usually 3 times a week for 5-6 hours but ensure the dogs get lots of play time before and after I leave. Safety and comfort are my top priorities!
