About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up caring for a house full of pets—including a cat, parakeets, fish, and even a couple of snapping turtles—and have loved both cats and dogs throughout my life. As an adult, I was lucky enough to spend 11 years with our beloved German Shepherd mix, Evie. We completed obedience training together, and I have plenty of hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding, routines, training reinforcement, playtime, and all the everyday care that comes with sharing your life with a dog. As Evie got older, I also gained experience caring for a senior dog through arthritis and, eventually, a period of significant illness. Her needs changed considerably during her final months, so I’m comfortable administering oral medications, keeping an eye on changes in appetite or behavior, adapting routines for an older or less-active dog, and understanding when something just doesn’t seem quite right. I’ve also cared for pets for neighbors and understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pet while you’re away. Since losing Evie in 2022, we haven’t been ready to bring another pet into our family, so I’d genuinely love the opportunity to spend some time caring for yours. I’m dependable, attentive, patient, and—most importantly—I truly enjoy being around animals. I’m self-employed and set my own schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to work pet care into my day. I’m generally available for morning visits beginning around 8:30 AM, as well as midday and afternoon care. I can build walks, potty breaks, playtime, meals, and plenty of attention into each pet’s normal routine, and I’m happy to follow the schedule they’re accustomed to at home. I know consistency matters, especially when pets are away from their people, so I’m happy to follow the schedule they’re accustomed to at home. We are a family of four with two children, ages 10 and 7, and our home has a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and potty breaks. We don’t currently have any pets of our own, so visiting dogs won’t need to adjust to other resident animals. I know every pet has different routines, boundaries, and comfort levels, and I’ll follow your instructions closely—from feeding and walks to medications, crate routines, sleeping arrangements, and house rules. I’m also happy to learn about your pet’s personality, triggers, quirks, and favorite things before their stay so we can make our home feel as comfortable and familiar as possible.

About: As a dedicated pet sitter with hands-on experience, I’ve successfully potty-trained three dogs and spent a couple weeks working alongside a professional trainer to deepen my skills. My goal is to provide your pets with a safe, loving, and structured environment that feels like home. Whether it’s playtime, training reinforcement, or plenty of cuddles, I’m here to make sure your furry family members are well-cared for and happy while you’re away. I work from home a couple of days a week and I’m 5 minutes from my office so I can run home for potty breaks. I love dog walks, throwing the ball or cuddling on the couch. I have a completely fenced yard with a security camera. I will keep the dogs inside unless it’s potty or playtime. I have a Bernadoodle and he sleeps in the bed with me.

About: My dog, LJ Gibbs, is around 8 years old, and he truly is a man's best friend. I love playing with him, taking him on walks, feeding him, and honestly just learning who he is as a dog. Having Gibbs has taught me that every dog has their own personality, habits, and way of communicating. I enjoy getting to know those little things and understanding what makes each dog comfortable and happy. Right now I have a pretty flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to fit pet care into my day. I already make time for my own dog, LJ Gibbs, whether it’s feeding him, taking him for walks, playing with him, or just spending time together. Taking care of a dog is already part of my everyday routine, so caring for another one fits naturally into my schedule. When I’m caring for a pet in someone else’s home, I want them to feel as comfortable as possible. I’ll follow the routine you already have in place, whether that means feeding times, walks, playtime, or just hanging out with them. I know every dog is different, so I’ll take the time to learn their personality and what they’re comfortable with. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I’d want someone to show mine.

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats growing up. I help out my friends and family with their pets when needed. I love playing and walking with pups. I can help with feeding and any special needs or quirks your animal may have. I work from home and love getting outside whenever I have the chance. I have a flexible work schedule and during the weekend I’m home playing with my dog! When going outside I would always make sure a leash is on if there isn’t a fence. Always be on lookout for glass or trash on the sidewalk.

About: I've taken care of dogs for most of my life since I was a teen. I myself was the proud owner of a miniature schnauzer for over 16 years, so I understand the desire to take excellent care of your pet, ensuring they are fed, walked, and most of all, loved! I would take care of your pet like they were my own. I'm currently searching for a full-time position for work, so I'm able to be more flexible during the week than what is typical when I'm working full-time in an office setting. That being said, I am flexible to take care of your pet during the work day or in the evenings for the time being! I am a calm and easygoing individual who would be able to follow instructions you leave for me in order to provide the same structure and routine for your pet that they typically have with you at home.

Your dog will beg to come back I currently work remote from home other than occasional visits to clients in the metroplex. Dogs are frequently let out in 2-4 hour windows (unless special needs are requested and I will gladly accommodate) for potty and play time Fenced backyard yard, two senior dogs, a standard poodle and a Chi-mix, who are pet friendly and are accustom to having all ages and breeds of dogs come for occasional boarding.

I had a Golden Retriever for 5 wonderful years before he passed away from cancer. He taught me so much about love, patience and responsibility that comes with caring for a pet. About: I have always been around pets my whole life. I am in love with dogs they’re the most precious things ever. I have a German shepherd mix with a husky he is my whole world! Pet care is a regular part of my own daily routine. I will feed pets, providing fresh water, taking them on walks, cleaning up after them, and making sure they receive plenty of attention and care. I have hard floors for easy clean-up. I also provide extra blankets to keep your furbabies warm. I also have a separate eating area set up for your furbabies. I keep one extra crate, if needed when you bring your dog.

About: Paw-parent to the sweetest 4 year old Frenchton. As a former corporate employee in an office, I know the struggles of finding time to give dogs the attention and stimulation they deserve. I’m here to make your life a little easier and provide great care for your best friend. I’ve taken care of family pets since high school but became a first time paw-parent in 2020. My partner Johnny also helps me and he is home during the day since he works from home. I currently have lots of free time and can look over your pets almost any day of the week. Spring break is around the corner and my calendar is filling up fast. Please book soon for March dates. Furry friends will be taken out 4-5 times a day. Can accommodate to more times if needed. Pets will be kept inside the home for boarding at all times. (Potty breaks are done outside in the backyard which is fenced.) If walks are required they will only be done if the weather is safe for pets and me. My current pet Peppers will be at my home if you are boarding but in a completely different part of my home.

About: I decided to join rover because of how much I love dogs. I have a big yard and 2 dogs of my own for your baby/babies to play with! I keep my dogs mainly inside during the day with the occasional trip to the back yard. I am home all day so that allows for lots of potty breaks and playtime (weather permitting). As a hobby, I foster puppies for a rescue so I am very patient and understanding of puppy behavior. I've been fostering since 2018 and have gained tons of knowledge on dog behaviors, training, health, etc! We spend most of our time in my dog room where I have tons of toys, treats, doggy puzzles, bones, etc. The perfect playground for your furry friend I am very flexable so if you have a special request just ask! Very excited to hangout with all your fur babies! Recently I took on a second job which requires me to be away from the house for about 5-6 hours a few times a week. Safety and comfort are my top priorities! I will ask lots of questions and require a meeting before accepting a booking. I want to be sure everyone gets along and that all the dogs are comfortable. As for updates during a booking, I strive myself of being 100% honest. I want your dog to love coming here and feel at home with me. If they happen to be uncomfortable for any reason I will let you know! Nothing is more important than the right environment for your dog(s)! I am home during the day which allows for lots of playtime and potty breaks. I work away from the house usually 3 times a week for 5-6 hours but ensure the dogs get lots of play time before and after I leave. Safety and comfort are my top priorities!
