I currently work full-time but am available to your pets early mornings before 8am and during evenings after 6p Mon-Fri. Sat-Sun I am available all day. Overnights if requested. About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up caring for a house full of pets—including a cat, parakeets, fish, and even a couple of snapping turtles—and have loved both cats and dogs throughout my life. As an adult, I was lucky enough to spend 11 years with our beloved German Shepherd mix, Evie. We completed obedience training together, and I have plenty of hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding, routines, training reinforcement, playtime, and all the everyday care that comes with sharing your life with a dog. As Evie got older, I also gained experience caring for a senior dog through arthritis and, eventually, a period of significant illness. Her needs changed considerably during her final months, so I’m comfortable administering oral medications, keeping an eye on changes in appetite or behavior, adapting routines for an older or less-active dog, and understanding when something just doesn’t seem quite right. I’ve also cared for pets for neighbors and understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pet while you’re away. Since losing Evie in 2022, we haven’t been ready to bring another pet into our family, so I’d genuinely love the opportunity to spend some time caring for yours. I’m dependable, attentive, patient, and—most importantly—I truly enjoy being around animals. I’m self-employed and set my own schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to work pet care into my day. I’m generally available for morning visits beginning around 8:30 AM, as well as midday and afternoon care. I can build walks, potty breaks, playtime, meals, and plenty of attention into each pet’s normal routine, and I’m happy to follow the schedule they’re accustomed to at home. I know consistency matters, especially when pets are away from their people, so I’m happy to follow the schedule they’re accustomed to at home. We are a family of four with two children, ages 10 and 7, and our home has a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and potty breaks. We don’t currently have any pets of our own, so visiting dogs won’t need to adjust to other resident animals. I know every pet has different routines, boundaries, and comfort levels, and I’ll follow your instructions closely—from feeding and walks to medications, crate routines, sleeping arrangements, and house rules. I’m also happy to learn about your pet’s personality, triggers, quirks, and favorite things before their stay so we can make our home feel as comfortable and familiar as possible.

About: I’ve been a dog mom for 7 years. I have 2 fur babies: Roxy and Daisy. I love dogs with every fiber of my being! My girls and I always do something together: we love walks, hikes in the nature and daily obedience training. I am also a very active individual so I can assure you that your fur baby will be exercised and mentally stimulated on my watch. I believe in the importance of mental enrichment as well as daily physical activity for all dogs no matter their age and breed. It’s important to meet your dog’s needs on a daily basis. My older dog Roxy is also a senior dog so I understand how vital it is to accommodate her needs while still ensuring she gets an adequate amount of activity and rest. I can teach your dog basic commands and fun tricks as well as do mental enrichment games and puzzles. I currently work part-time: I offer in-home personal chef services to clients all over DFW area. I am able to set my own schedule and I have weekly as well as weekend availability to care for dogs. I’m willing to care for your fur baby in your home. I’m very flexible and will do my best to accommodate your unique needs and requests. I’m also married so when I’m away I know that my husband will take care of our dogs.

About: I’ve been taking care of backyard stray cats to having one on my own. I learned to love and take care of cats by spending most of my time with them I’m a grad student so I am busy in the morning but flexible during my breaks. About: I own a dog myself and so Ive learned to crate and potty train her. As much as I love her I do understand every dog needs to learn respect to others. I am currently working full time with a set schedule for a while and it does change from time to time. But i do work 3-11pm 4 days and Sunday i work 7am-3pm. My dog is crate trained, so if needed she can be put away. I do have a spacious apartment, my cat tends to be shy around others. So he would run off, but as mentioned before with my dog, my cat can be out away also.

About: I decided to join rover because of how much I love dogs. I have a big yard and 2 dogs of my own for your baby/babies to play with! I keep my dogs mainly inside during the day with the occasional trip to the back yard. I am home all day so that allows for lots of potty breaks and playtime (weather permitting). As a hobby, I foster puppies for a rescue so I am very patient and understanding of puppy behavior. I've been fostering since 2018 and have gained tons of knowledge on dog behaviors, training, health, etc!
