About: I have had dogs my whole life. I've taken them through multiple levels of training including therapy dog training. I currently work part time, which leaves me available for dog walks or drop-ins in the afternoon, boarding is available during the week, though I will be out of the house Mon-Fri 9:00 am-1:30 pm I have a large yard with no fence. We have a walking trail available at the end of our driveway where I can walk your dog when they stay at my house. I have one 2+yr old Labrador and one 8 yr-old boy. My dog is dog/cat friendly.
About: Hi! My name is Abbie and I LOVE dogs & cats! We have an almost 4 year old golden retriever - who is a certified therapy dog. We enjoy volunteering as a therapy team in the community! I enjoy walks in our neighborhood, time in nature, fetch in the yard, daily brushing and providing basic obedience training. Walks: I use a gentle leader, treats and positive reinforcement for training. My dog does not use a kennel. She enjoys dog beds, couches, and beds. However, happy to accommodate your specific pet needs.

“Rylan did a terrific job taking care of our cat with a week of drop-in visits while we were on vacation. Rylan did an excellent job of providing daily updates and photos, and also brought our mail in, put the garbage cans out, etc. it is apparent that Rylan has a real love of animals, and it helped knowing that our little guy was well cared for while we were away.”

About: I've taken care of dogs (housesitting and dog walking) ever since I was 10 years old. I have taken care of dogs anywhere from 9 weeks old to 17 years old. I have no problem giving medications or any special requests. I am currently in the middle of my senior year at Montana State University and am home for a bit this summer! I am extremely flexible, usually I end up going to the gym once a day, but don’t have any formal commitments! I do not have a home that I can bring dogs into, but I am more than willing to take care of dogs in your home, crating them, keeping them leashed (if necessary), and making any other modifications you may need.
About: I've had more than 2 dogs in my home my entire life, from 8 week old puppies to seniors. I have experience giving the dogs medicine when they need it. I work part time at a retail store, so I am never working more than 9 hours at a time, I usually only work 4-5 hours normally. I make the pets my priority when I am caring for them and I watch their behaviors so I can catch anything out of the ordinary. I follow feeding directions and potty schedules.
About: My lifelong passion for animals began on our family’s organic dairy farm in Menomonie, Wisconsin, where I learned the dedication required to care for animals of all sizes. Over the years, we have opened our hearts and home to our friends' pets, gaining extensive hands-on experience with everything from energetic dogs to gentle bunnies. As a homeschool family, someone is almost always home to provide continuous love, attention, and structured care. We spend plenty of time outside so your pet will have lots of opportunities to exercise and spend time in the sun. Your pet will enjoy full access to our house and a large, securely fenced yard perfect for safe outdoor exploration. Located in a peaceful, dog-friendly neighborhood, we offer a warm, reliable, and attentive home-away-from-home where your pet will be treated like family.
“Leslie was very prompt and professional in her response to our request. Our dog was very comfortable with her right away, and so were we. She communicated well how the in-home visits were going, and we would definitely recommend using her for dog care.”
“Vanessa is a true cat-lover and our cat was comfortable with her from the first time they met. She took excellent care of him while we were away on vacation, followed directions, and I would highly recommend her to other cat parents.”

“She was amazing with Beans. Love the daily pictures. Super thoughtful, brought in some packages that were left out in the rain for us. Very happy with the service.”

About: Hi! My name is Frankie, and I’ve spent many years caring for cats and dogs of all breeds and personalities. I truly love animals, and my top priority is making sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or quiet companionship, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I nanny as well and know these are babies too just with fur! In addition to pet sitting, I work part-time evening shifts at a hospital and am currently a student. My schedule is flexible, and I make sure to give each pet the time and attention they need Safety is a top priority in everything I do. I always take care to follow each pet’s routine, keep them secure in their environment, and watch closely for any signs of stress or discomfort. Whether it’s walks, feedings, or downtime, I’m committed to making sure your pets are safe, calm, and well cared for at all times.
About: I’ve worked with dogs and cats in many different ways. I have owned dogs my entire life, plus a few cats. I volunteer at the Humane Society in Kansas City while at school where I work directly with the shelter dogs. I have house sat for multiple family friends and am ready to take on new pups and cats! I am currently home from school for the summer so am looking to fill the time. I work part time as a server a few times a week. During the day I often just workout, read a book, or hang with my own dogs. I have fostered a dog before and can adjust well to your dogs needs. I’ve practiced crate training, furniture restrictions, and other small training tasks. My house has an open yard which my dogs are free to run around in when they are not on leash to go potty.
“This was our first time using the Rover app, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Makayla was absolutely wonderful—super sweet and thorough when she came to meet our cat and go over all of the instructions. While we were away, she checked in every day with thoughtful notes and the cutest photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. She even brought in some packages that were delivered, which was such a nice extra touch. It’s clear she genuinely cares, and we’ll definitely be booking her again. We’re already planning to have her help with dog walking, too. Highly recommend!”

“LeAnn was very friendly and conscientious with our two cats. She came over before we left to meet them, go over the instructions, and understand where everything is and what needed to be done while we were gone. She spent enough time to play with both cats and give them some much-needed attention. We appreciated her pictures and updates on how the cats were doing. Both of them were comfortable with Leann and were very friendly with her. We are very happy with how she did and plan to use Leann again in the future as our primary cat-care person.”

About: I have lived with cats since I was 14 years old and have looked after cats and dogs independently since I was 16. I am comfortable with administering medications from my time working at Grand Avenue Veterinary Clinic. I typically work a week day that leaves me away from the house from the hours of 7am to 7pm. Please consider this when determining if I would be a good option for caring for your furry family! As I will be in your and your pets home, making sure everyone is comfortable with me in the space! My goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away. If you have any specific concerns about going on walks or interacting with other humans and pets please let me know so I can abide by what works best for your family. I have been trained on how to pill animals who are nervous about medication to ensure that your pet recieves their medication and remains safe and supported in the process. If you should ask me to take care of your home I make sure to grab the mail daily and follow the motto of leave it better than you found it! I want to have you to come home to a clean house.

About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats. Experience with both. We lost our dog in March so our house is feeling empty right now and would love to have your fur baby over to keep us company. I am also available for walks or drop ins in the evenings and weekends. I currently work full time, usually 8-4. I can come home on my lunch break for potty breaks. I only work 7 mins from home. I do have a 7 year old daughter that is in the home as well. We have a fenced in yard that is great for dogs to run. We also have a lot of windows and bird feeders for cats to sit and watch the birdies.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
