“Marianne kept my judgmental and grumpy kitties very happy! I’m not even sure they noticed I was gone. She made sure food and water and the litter box was clean. And, she even gave my plants some TLC.”

“Kenzee is amazing! She was able to accommodate a fairly last minute request to watch our pups while we were away for the weekend. She took great care of our crazy nuts and sent pictures/updates after every drop-in visit!”

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with one since I was six, and that bond taught me how much care and attention our furry friends really need. I also spent four months volunteering at a shelter as part of a school project, where I learned even more about caring for dogs. That experience only deepened my passion for making sure every pup gets the love and walks they deserve. I’m currently a student on summer break, so I have plenty of free time to dedicate to pet care. Aside from the occasional golf tournament usually twice a month that’s around 6 days total. I’ll be spending most of my time in Monterey. If you’re heading out of town for a few days, I’d love to help take care of your dog. I’m reliable, flexible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals! When caring for pets, safety and trust are always my top priorities. I make sure to follow any specific routines or instructions provided by the owner whether it’s feeding, medications, or walking preferences. In your home, I respect your space and keep things clean and calm to make sure your dog feels comfortable and secure. I always check for anything that could be unsafe, like open gates or small items they could chew on. I treat every pet like they’re my own giving them lots of attention, a safe environment, and a routine they can rely on.

About: Animals have always been my happy place. From as far back as I can remember, I’ve had the privilege of caring for both cats and dogs, developing a deep bond and understanding of their unique personalities. Having spent years with furry friends, I've learned that every pet has its own quirks and needs, but all of them share one thing in common: a desire for love, attention, and connection. What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my genuine passion and hands-on experience. I'm not just someone who watches pets — I actively engage with them, whether it’s a playful game of fetch, a peaceful cuddle session, or a long walk to explore the world around us. I believe in creating an environment where pets feel safe, loved, and entertained. I’ve never met an animal that didn’t enjoy quality time with their human, and I take pride in giving them the attention they deserve. Whether it’s providing mental stimulation with toys, helping pets burn off energy with exercise, or simply offering companionship, my goal is always to ensure the well-being and happiness of each pet in my care. Their needs come first, and I make sure to listen to both the animals and their owners to create a routine that works for everyone. I’m more than just a pet sitter — I’m a true pet lover. With years of experience and an intuitive understanding of animal behavior, you can trust me to provide your pet with the best care possible. After all, every pet deserves to feel like they’re part of the family. Currently, my daily schedule revolves around taking care of my mom and my own animals, so having a flexible job is crucial. Luckily, pet sitting is the perfect fit for this chapter in my life, allowing me to combine my love for animals with my responsibilities at home I live in a peaceful, pet-friendly community, where I have access to quiet walks and a safe outdoor space. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood or a quick potty break, I ensure your pet gets the fresh air and exercise they need at their own pace. Inside the house, I’ve designed the space to be a cozy retreat for pets. I have a large, comfortable dog carrier for pets who need a quiet space to rest, as well as plenty of soft bedding and safe spots for them to relax and feel secure. I believe in building trust with each animal, which is why I ensure they have access to everything they might need, at any time — from fresh water in every room of my home to ample opportunities for play and attention.

About: I love all dogs and especially the wild working breeds and their silly personalities! From Malinois to Plott Hounds, I am experienced in caring for the special needs of high drive dogs. I have my own working line shepherd who has been working through trauma induced reactivity issues, and I am *very* sensitive to behavior modification training. (No other animals will join in any appointments with clients.) I also adore puppies and their velociraptor ways, and do not charge additional base fees to work with them. I can't wait to meet you and you furry best friends! I am a full time remote worker and have a highly flexible schedule. The company operates during normal business hours, and my weekends are generally open. My offerings are for care within a client's home, and to take dogs on walks near their home. Please tell me about what your canine pal loves to do. Play ball? Sniff out squirrels? Take a leisurely stroll? Become one with the couch? :)

About: I'm well-versed in litterboxes, cleaning up messes and throw up, interacting with hyper active animals until they wear themselves out, and gaining the trust of skittish animals. I work with kids, I find pets are much easier. I'm a full time student at UCSC and a runner which is perfect because I can study while petting a cat or take your hyperactive dog for a fun run. I'm also a lifeguard during the summers so I'm well versed with the beach and the sea and for the dogs who like to swim or paddleboard, I can show them an amazing day. I make sure the home is as clean if not cleaner than when I got there. I make sure to gain a pets trust before anything else, prioritizing eye contact and belly rubs. I'm very adaptable and can work with older and young, hyper animals.

“Natalie was great! Our boy has epilepsy and we felt very comfortable leaving him with her. She was responsive, easy to communicate with and professional. Bogey also gives her a 5 out of 5!”

“Amazing. Did such a great job keeping our pups calm at the Hotel, after 2 evenings of calls from the front desk, finding a dog sitter was a must to continue our trip. Elena was easy to communicate with, helped me setup the proper visit types, as we didn’t need over night but wanted more than just a drop in.”

“Jenna was absolutely amazing and took such amazing care of my critters. My dog and cat loved her, she spoiled them so much. She went above and beyond and not only took great care of our animals, she also took such great care of things around the house while we were gone. I will definitely trust Jenna with our critters again, I can't recommend her highly enough. Thank you Jenna!”

About: *New to Rover…NOT new to pet sitting!* Hi there! My name is Gisella. I live in Big Sur and I absolutely adore dogs (and cats). I’ve owned dogs throughout my whole life…I don’t remember ever not having a dog, actually. All of our dogs have always been rescues/adopted, and with that comes its challenges, especially dealing with different types of personalities in dogs. I’m comfortable with all dogs, big or small, young or old. I worked for Carmel Valley Vet and was team leader at Dawg House Grooming Salon in Carmel Valley Village. I can ensure your pet will be in great care with some of my amazing references. I have years of dog sitting/walking, house sitting experience and I’ll treat your pets as my own. I’m currently working part-time, so I’m pretty flexible. I can do overnights in your home or in my home (as long as my dog approves), I can do drop in visits, and I can do walks. I can pretty much do anything you need. I have a fully fenced front yard. The property is not accessible to any trails as we live on a cliff side. However, I can drive about five minutes and walk your pup if need be. If I’m staying in your home I will do whatever you usually do for your pet.

“Kim was so great with our cats. They immediately liked her and she put them at ease. We were concerned about leaving for the weekend because one cat was sick but she gave meds and monitored feeding for our sick kitty and provided attention and care to the others as well. Great communication and super reliable!”

About: Having cared for many dogs, cats and farm animals of my own and for others, I offer responsible canine care to pets and owners in Carmel. I have trained and cared for dogs and horses throughout the years. I am easygoing, yet direct in my approach to care and comfort the animals i have and host. I am home most days and evenings. I primarily work from home and I am active throughout the day. I typically take morning, mid day and evening walks with my dog(s) and allow them to have free roam in the house and yard. I am to offer flexiblility with your pets needs at my home or in yours. My home is pet friendly, accommodating and safe, I also have a fully fenced yard with patio, grass areas and gardens. I make sure that food, water, treats and play things are available at all times for all pets. I also set areas for downtime, relaxation and naps inside and outside the house, and provide regular interaction and amusement throughout the day.

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats, I even had a gecko when I was younger. I have lived with and cared for pets my whole life. I grew up with a orange tabby cat, and recently lived with a Bombay and an American shorthair. I have also cat sat an Egyptian Mau and a Nebelung. My friends call me the cat whisperer because even when they say "he/she isn't keen to newcomers, the cat tends to feel comfortable with me right from the start". This is something I love seeing since cats are known to be more picky about who they chose to rub against or get close to. I have also grown up around and cared for a variety of dogs. To list a few dog breeds I have cared for: American Eskimo, Labrador, Golden Retrieves, Huskie, Malamute, German Shepard, Cavapoo, Belgian Malinois, Golden Doodle, Beagle, Wiener dog, Katahula, Mountain Cur, Boxer. My first dog was an American Eskimo , and then my family also had a couple Labs and currently have a Katahula/Mountain Cur mix. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with the care of their pets. I have experience working with working dogs (Belgian Malinois, German Shepard) and caring for them on strict schedules as my best friend has 2 working dogs that have alternating schedules and crate times. My last roommate has a Cavapoo and since I work fully remote I spent the days caring for him, taking him on walks, feeding him dinner, I even gave him bathes though he didn't particularly enjoy them. I love to go for runs/walks and love to cuddle. I promise that if you chose me to care for your pet they will receive all the love I have to offer. I currently work from home full-time with a lot of flexibility in my work schedule, so I am able to take the pets out for walks multiple times a day if needed, and it opens me up to be more available to watch your pets. I am a highly active person so having a furry companion to play with always makes my days better. I currently share an apartment with a roommate who does not do well with Pet Dander so it is best if I care for your furry friends at your home. I will respect your wishes whether you allow pets on furniture or not. I do not mind if they are on the furniture but that is a personal preference and understand the need for consistency with animals. When caring for your pet I just ask that you provide a note of preferred do's or dont's in your home.

“My wife had to take an emergency trip and Nikki was super helpful! Didn’t want to have to worry about my dogs while at work and certainly didnt have to! Will definitely request her again in the future!”

About: Prior to now, I have owned two dog boutique hotels that I have personally built from the ground up. I am familiar with all kinds of doggies and their personalities. All doggies are special to me and will receive nothing but the best of care and affection. I am currently taking care of pups in your own home unless we discuss and or have made other arrangements. I am also a commissioned artist so I would not be leaving to another job, your pup(s) would be my only concern. I might go run a couple errands, grocery store, etc... but I would enjoy just being home with your pups and painting, exercising, playing with them or just doing whatever they are familiar in doing with you. As to your own personal instructions only. I understand, every dog has their own individual personality and each puppy has special needs. I will accompany each puppy as you wish.

About: I grow up with animals since I born. As a trainer, my close circle always trusts me to take care their pets. I am an influencer (300K followers, you can check how legit and trustworthy I am, cuz I am partnering with worldwide companies & showing my peaceful daily life), so I am creating my own schedule. Animals are my true passion & they all are my babies to me! I love them all so I choose to be a professional pet carer. I have extensive experience with animals. For their separation anxiety I prefer to watch them in their own environment. Since I was a teenager, I was helping street dogs & cats to found homes. I took classes, and I learned how to take care animals. I learned about proper diet, housing, and medical care for variety of animals. I have lots of experience with other animals as well as dogs & cats. I am super familiar with bunnies, turtles, chickens, cows, goats, sheeps, ducks, birds especially since I am a kid, I spent my holidays at my father’s farms. Your pets will stay happily entertained to have the best Pawsome VIP Vacation! We will have so much fun together with your dearies especially at the beach! I want to make sure you will be so happy and at peace leaving your pup with me; with their new best friend! I welcome meet & greets at parks, but they are not required. I can do long walks, plays, and every other needings for our dearest animals! I guarantee it will be a Dog Gone GOOD Time! I am home and at parks all of the time with All My Dearie Guest Paws and I love it! This is my full time job, and my day centers around their care, safety, health, entertainment, and much happiness in the most hygienic PawsInn! I am a full time pet carer & that is the only way how I can see possible to do pet sitting & training job proper. I can fully supervise “kids” and make sure they all good and happy ;) Kindly give a bath to your most lovely puppies before giving them to me pretty please. Otherwise I need to give bath & grooming for my dearie guest paws. I will charge it. I have a fenced front yard, backyard at PawsInn, so I am supervising dearly puppies all the time, even when they are having fun at my garden. We shall do long walks, plays at the safest neighborhood parks, and fenced football fields constantly. My favorite park is next to my home, and it is our favorite because I can safely let few puppies run there leash free since this park all fenced up. My favorite is taking dogs for a hike, bike to open space county parks, beaches, trail with nice cool creeks, and lots of shade where dogs can hang by creek especially at hot weather, and cool off by keeping paws and belly in a water. We love it! If you are my very new client with new puppies for me, I'd like to get to know them in a neutral environment, like a beach or park, before taking them to my house. This will allow me to observe their behavior, energy levels, and personalities. I'd like to take them for a long walk and get acquainted with them before proceeding. This helps me ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for both the puppies, and of course me as a trainer with my previous experiences with other new clients I always do this technique. I can definitely take care of your pets medical supports as needed. In case you forgot their bowls, toys, items, blankets or beds, I provide! Everything is EZ at the PawsInn. Attention please! If your dog is needing special care / untrained: can’t hold pee & poop / constantly barking / can not walk properly - pulling so hard / damaging to the house / biting / not friendly with other puppies : it costs $350 per day per puppy.

“Taylor watched my 2 cats for me while I was out of town and she did an amazing job. “I have trusted Lauren with my beloved dogs for 7 years. She genuinely loves dogs! She enjoys each of their personalities and quirks. If there was a emergency I know that she would handle it without hesitation. With Lauren watching my boys I can go on trips or be gone for a day and know they are be spoiled with a lots of snuggles and play time. They have specialized food and times to eat. She worked with our schedule. As a pet owner we considered our 4 legged boys are family. At one point I was scheduled to go on a trip when one of the dogs got hurt, he was on medication which was scheduled 4x a day. We had already paid for our flights and hotel. After discussing my concerns with Lauren and possibly canceling the trip, she assured me that he would be very well taken care of and she was correct. I came back to to a very happy boy and the injury was healed. THANK YOU LAUREN. We were able to go on a our trip. I only wish she was babysitting as well. She is passionate, loving and will go beyond for your beloved pet”

Tugce E.
“Kind, gentle, and responsible, Nermin is an excellent companion for your pet. She develops a strong rapport with every animal I've ever seen her encounter. She is careful and attentive to their needs and focuses on both their happiness and well-being. I would of course highly recommend Nermin for any aspect of watching, walking, or otherwise being a friend to your pet.”

Rheanna M.
“Rheanna is very responsible, loving and caring. Rheanna absolutely loved and adored her dog, Mochi, who unfortunately passed a few years ago. She always made sure Mochi's needs were met, and well beyond. Rheanna is very much an animal lover and probably cares more about animals, than people:) Rheanna has also taken care of my dog, who is a very large dog, on numerous occasions and I've never questioned his wellbeing while in her care. She loves to be outside, walk, and simply be around animals. I highly recommend her to care for your nearest and dearest!”

In the rare event of any issues during a booking, rest easy knowing your pet is covered by the Rover Guarantee reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care.
