About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with one since I was six, and that bond taught me how much care and attention our furry friends really need. I also spent four months volunteering at a shelter as part of a school project, where I learned even more about caring for dogs. That experience only deepened my passion for making sure every pup gets the love and walks they deserve. I’m currently a student on summer break, so I have plenty of free time to dedicate to pet care. Aside from the occasional golf tournament usually twice a month that’s around 6 days total. I’ll be spending most of my time in Monterey. If you’re heading out of town for a few days, I’d love to help take care of your dog. I’m reliable, flexible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals! When caring for pets, safety and trust are always my top priorities. I make sure to follow any specific routines or instructions provided by the owner whether it’s feeding, medications, or walking preferences. I always check for anything that could be unsafe, like open gates or small items they could chew on. Inside the house, I’ve designed the space to be a cozy retreat for pets. I have a large, comfortable dog carrier for pets who need a quiet space to rest, as well as plenty of soft bedding and safe spots for them to relax and feel secure. I believe in building trust with each animal, which is why I ensure they have access to everything they might need, at any time — from fresh water in every room of my home to ample opportunities for play and attention.

About: I love all dogs and especially the wild working breeds and their silly personalities! From Malinois to Plott Hounds, I am experienced in caring for the special needs of high drive dogs. I have my own working line shepherd who has been working through trauma induced reactivity issues, and I am *very* sensitive to behavior modification training. (No other animals will join in any appointments with clients.) I also adore puppies and their velociraptor ways, and do not charge additional base fees to work with them. I can't wait to meet you and you furry best friends! I am a full time remote worker and have a highly flexible schedule. The company operates during normal business hours, and my weekends are generally open. My offerings are for care within a client's home, and to take dogs on walks near their home. Please tell me about what your canine pal loves to do. Play ball? Sniff out squirrels? Take a leisurely stroll? Become one with the couch? :)

About: I'm well-versed in litterboxes, cleaning up messes and throw up, interacting with hyper active animals until they wear themselves out, and gaining the trust of skittish animals. I work with kids, I find pets are much easier. I'm a full time student at UCSC and a runner which is perfect because I can study while petting a cat or take your hyperactive dog for a fun run. I'm also a lifeguard during the summers so I'm well versed with the beach and the sea and for the dogs who like to swim or paddleboard, I can show them an amazing day. I make sure the home is as clean if not cleaner than when I got there. I make sure to gain a pets trust before anything else, prioritizing eye contact and belly rubs. I'm very adaptable and can work with older and young, hyper animals.

I’ve owned dogs throughout my whole life…I don’t remember ever not having a dog, actually. All of our dogs have always been rescues/adopted, and with that comes its challenges, especially dealing with different types of personalities in dogs. I’m comfortable with all dogs, big or small, young or old. I worked for Carmel Valley Vet and was team leader at Dawg House Grooming Salon in Carmel Valley Village. I can ensure your pet will be in great care with some of my amazing references. I have years of dog sitting/walking, house sitting experience and I’ll treat your pets as my own. I’m currently working part-time, so I’m pretty flexible. I can do overnights in your home or in my home (as long as my dog approves), I can do drop in visits, and I can do walks. I can pretty much do anything you need. I have a fully fenced front yard. The property is not accessible to any trails as we live on a cliff side. However, I can drive about five minutes and walk your pup if need be. If I’m staying in your home I will do whatever you usually do for your pet.

About: Having cared for many dogs, cats and farm animals of my own and for others, I offer responsible canine care to pets and owners in Carmel. I have trained and cared for dogs and horses throughout the years. I am easygoing, yet direct in my approach to care and comfort the animals i have and host. I am home most days and evenings. I primarily work from home and I am active throughout the day. I typically take morning, mid day and evening walks with my dog(s) and allow them to have free roam in the house and yard. I am to offer flexiblility with your pets needs at my home or in yours. My home is pet friendly, accommodating and safe, I also have a fully fenced yard with patio, grass areas and gardens. I make sure that food, water, treats and play things are available at all times for all pets. I also set areas for downtime, relaxation and naps inside and outside the house, and provide regular interaction and amusement throughout the day.

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats, I even had a gecko when I was younger. I have lived with and cared for pets my whole life. I grew up with a orange tabby cat, and recently lived with a Bombay and an American shorthair. I have also cat sat an Egyptian Mau and a Nebelung. My friends call me the cat whisperer because even when they say "he/she isn't keen to newcomers, the cat tends to feel comfortable with me right from the start". This is something I love seeing since cats are known to be more picky about who they chose to rub against or get close to. I have also grown up around and cared for a variety of dogs. To list a few dog breeds I have cared for: American Eskimo, Labrador, Golden Retrieves, Huskie, Malamute, German Shepard, Cavapoo, Belgian Malinois, Golden Doodle, Beagle, Wiener dog, Katahula, Mountain Cur, Boxer. My first dog was an American Eskimo , and then my family also had a couple Labs and currently have a Katahula/Mountain Cur mix. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with the care of their pets. I have experience working with working dogs (Belgian Malinois, German Shepard) and caring for them on strict schedules as my best friend has 2 working dogs that have alternating schedules and crate times. My last roommate has a Cavapoo and since I work fully remote I spent the days caring for him, taking him on walks, feeding him dinner, I even gave him bathes though he didn't particularly enjoy them. I love to go for runs/walks and love to cuddle. I promise that if you chose me to care for your pet they will receive all the love I have to offer. I currently work from home full-time with a lot of flexibility in my work schedule, so I am able to take the pets out for walks multiple times a day if needed, and it opens me up to be more available to watch your pets. I am a highly active person so having a furry companion to play with always makes my days better. I currently share an apartment with a roommate who does not do well with Pet Dander so it is best if I care for your furry friends at your home. I will respect your wishes whether you allow pets on furniture or not. I do not mind if they are on the furniture but that is a personal preference and understand the need for consistency with animals. When caring for your pet I just ask that you provide a note of preferred do's or dont's in your home.

About: Prior to now, I have owned two dog boutique hotels that I have personally built from the ground up. I am familiar with all kinds of doggies and their personalities. All doggies are special to me and will receive nothing but the best of care and affection. I am currently taking care of pups in your own home unless we discuss and or have made other arrangements. I am also a commissioned artist so I would not be leaving to another job, your pup(s) would be my only concern. I might go run a couple errands, grocery store, etc... but I would enjoy just being home with your pups and painting, exercising, playing with them or just doing whatever they are familiar in doing with you. As to your own personal instructions only. I understand, every dog has their own individual personality and each puppy has special needs. I will accompany each puppy as you wish.

I am a full time pet carer & that is the only way how I can see possible to do pet sitting & training job proper. I can fully supervise “kids” and make sure they all good and happy ;) Kindly give a bath to your most lovely puppies before giving them to me pretty please. Otherwise I need to give bath & grooming for my dearie guest paws. I will charge it. I have a fenced front yard, backyard at PawsInn, so I am supervising dearly puppies all the time, even when they are having fun at my garden. We shall do long walks, plays at the safest neighborhood parks, and fenced football fields constantly. My favorite park is next to my home, and it is our favorite because I can safely let few puppies run there leash free since this park all fenced up. My favorite is taking dogs for a hike, bike to open space county parks, beaches, trail with nice cool creeks, and lots of shade where dogs can hang by creek especially at hot weather, and cool off by keeping paws and belly in a water. We love it! If you are my very new client with new puppies for me, I'd like to get to know them in a neutral environment, like a beach or park, before taking them to my house. This will allow me to observe their behavior, energy levels, and personalities. I'd like to take them for a long walk and get acquainted with them before proceeding. This helps me ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for both the puppies, and of course me as a trainer with my previous experiences with other new clients I always do this technique. I can definitely take care of your pets medical supports as needed. In case you forgot their bowls, toys, items, blankets or beds, I provide! Everything is EZ at the PawsInn. Attention please! If your dog is needing special care / untrained: can’t hold pee & poop / constantly barking / can not walk properly - pulling so hard / damaging to the house / biting / not friendly with other puppies : it costs $350 per day per puppy.

I am a hospitality professional ON A BREAK/CAREER TRANSITION- I’m 100% free from work ties. ..my days are filled with: early mornings, long walks, cooking, reading and generally just enjoying the beautiful sunny days. I have over 20 years of animal care (mine and others) - small farm animals, domestic animals etc. My dog of 14 years passed away 4 years ago and I am not quite ready for another so I find joy in animal care for others for the time being.
