About: Growing up my home was always filled with pets and it gives me immense joy to care for and be around animals. I've had cats and dogs as well as birds, hamsters, and a lizard. When I was younger I would walk around my neighborhood asking if anyone had a dog I could walk because we didn't have one at the time and I loved them so much. Whenever one of my friends or neighbors take a trip I'm always the first they ask. I'm a student and I'm taking a few classes but my schedule is mostly open. I have no job and I'm home most days of the week Your loved one is assured to get plenty of love and attention from me. My favorite part of my day is always when I check-in on your pets. I absolutely love spending time with animals and currently I don't have any of my own. I'm always extra gentle with senior and anxious dogs and cats. I also have a lot of experience cleaning ears and administering ear medicine to both dogs and cats

“Melissa and I have lived in the same apartment complex for over a year. We met thru out love of animals while I was walking my dogs Onyx my husky and Beasty my Doberman . I usually don’t leave for more than a few hours because my dogs are high maintenance but when I am gone I always know Melissa helps keep an eye on my dogs and my apartment . About: I have grown up with animals all of my life! I currently have 2 fur babies. Baby a 13 year old poodle and Bella a 9 year old boxer. I have seen it all with them , from teething, belly aches, ear infections you name it! I can help you with all your pet needs! I am working part time but I am willing to work with you. I can help you with your fur babies 9am-5pm and one weekend mornings as well. I will ensure your pets safety and keep a close eye on them like if they were my own. Make sure they are on a leash during walks, and pick up after them.

About: I have been taking care of both cats and dogs throughout the years since I was a kid. From family, friends, and church family alike. I remember as a kid my grandma having multiple dogs and so many cats on her property that I lost count. I loved visiting and caring for them with her. I also have family that own a farm with dogs, cats and farm animals which I have also helped attend to. I love animals. I love taking care of them and people in general. If I see a stray or hungry cat I try my best to feed them when they come around. If I see a cat while on my walks my heart gets happy. I do occasionally try to pet them or at the very least say hi. If they don't run away, scaredy cats 😹. I am always the one spotting animals while out and about trying to get pictures weather it be birds, cats, or squirrels! Animals and nature just make me happy. In past experiences I have house sat with and without animals. I have volunteered on a farm, volunteered in after school programs for 10+ years, and have been a camp counselor. I have many years providing service/ acts of service. In my free time I enjoy baking/ cooking, sewing, drawing/ painting and shopping :D I am currently working from home on call (still at home) and babysitting when needed. So my schedule is usually pretty open aside from running errands or the occasional appointment and personal time. With each new client I would love to meet each pet and parent before bookings are confirmed. That way we both know it will be a great match. I mostly enjoy being cozy at home so if your pet is a homebody its perfect. If your pet enjoys the outdoors I will be happy to explore with them as well. If your cat likes to go on walks I will gladly explore with them too. I live with 2 other female family members who also love animals. I have a 3 bedroom apartment but will mostly be using the front area which includes the living room, kitchen, and one bedroom if any stays are booked. I don't have pets of my own nor do I have kids but I do babysit on occasion or family with young kids (ages 2-4) will visit. If this is not okay just let me know and I can make sure family visits and bookings don't overlap.

We have two Great Pyrenees and one Shepard mix and though well trained, I think any dog parent can appreciate the anticipatory anxiety about putting someone else in charge of three very large dogs.
