“Monica is so patient and great with my dogs! They instantly loved her. She is very thorough with questions and followed all of my instructions. Definitely will continue to book drop ins!”

“Highly recommend Amber. She took such good care of our cats. She even noticed a package at our front door and placed it on our kitchen counter. She checked the litter boxes, cleaned them every visit. You can tell Amber cares a great deal about animals. She always kept in communication with. We will definitely book with her again. Thank you Amber.”

“Keerie did a great job taking care of our 2 cats when we were gone! She gave them lots of love and made sure they had plenty of food and water. Great communication and lots of cute pictures! We would definitely use her again.”

“Dee did such an amazing job taking care of my little fur babies! They were well taken care of. We especially loved reading our daily checkins and seeing the photos!!!”
About: I’ve had a passion for caring for animals since I was a child. I have 25+ years experience ranging from dog walking to in-home boarding. I have two dogs of my own. I am also well-experienced with senior dogs and bring a very calm demeanor. I am currently taking a break from corporate life and have flexible availability! I am typically available any time M-F, though occasionally I travel on weekends. I have a fully fenced in yard with two dogs at home. My dogs are social and love meeting new friends! I know that it can be unsettling for a dog to stay in someone else’s home, but we’re pros at welcoming others into our pack!
About: I have been taking care of dogs most of my life. I am 57. I have done dog training and agility with 2 of our dogs. I have had a puppy and dealt with Senior dogs too. I love to give our dog lots of attention with play time, walking and outdoor activities. I love to take walks and go to other parks too. With the owner's permission, I love to go to the dog park-Bow Wow dog park and the Akron Dog Park. I give your furry one lots of attention with play time-throwing toys-playing fetch with a ball or toy. Letting them have backyard time. We have a fenced in back yard for the dogs to be free. I also will brush your dog and pet them and give them attention, while you are away. I will treat your dog like he/she is my own dog. Another place I will take dogs is Petsmart or Pet Supplies Plus for social interaction and exercise. I am at home and available most days. We have a 20 year-old Son, who also loves dogs! My Husband helps out too, with walks and letting the dogs out in our backyard and is a dog person. Currently, I am not working. I have a knee problem and some medical issues that prevent me from working full time. I have plenty of time to take care of your dog. We love to take walks and go to the dog parks. However, if you prefer your dog not to go to the dog park, that is fine. We could go on walks and let your dog go outside in our backyard. We have lots of dog toys, bones, balls, etc... I do have a walk thru pet gate that I set up to block off the kitchen and dining room area. We will feed our dog and your dog separately in separate rooms. I love to brush and pet dogs. If needed, we could bath your dog too. We are a "dog" type family, that is our preference. We have had fish, hamsters and also a guinea pig in the past. I grew up with a cat in our home, as a child. We will throw ball and toys for the dogs and play with your dog. We have a small crate that is in our garage, however we don't usually use the crate. If we leave the home, depending on the situation, if your dog is destructive or chewing on furniture or other items, then we will crate your dog when we leave for church or a short errand. If you have a calm dog and the dog is not destructive and well mannered, then your dog could stay in the family room area, unless you prefer that your dog is in his crate. We will use 2 dog gates near our steps to go upstairs. We prefer that our dog and other dogs do not go upstairs. As a House Sitter, I would do any needed cleaning up of any messes I make. I would be bringing my own food, as I am gluten free and dairy free. The only thing I would need is some freezer and frigerated space for my food. I would follow your normal routine for your dog or dogs. I do have occasional Dr and therapy appointments, fyi. We have a home in Akron, with a fence in our backyard. We live near a forest, it is a quiet area. We have a small neighborhood, where the street dead ends to a forest. We don't get drive thru traffic, that use our area as a "short cut".

About: I have been a lover of animals for as long as I can remember. From horses, to kitties, to dogs and rabbits, I’ve watched and cared for them all. I love meeting new critters! I have a very flexible schedule working retail and picking up substitute teaching so I can work with you to make sure your pets get the car they need when they need it! I have a sweet baby boy cat who has not had problems with other animals, but can play or leave alone if needed. We have a large house with plenty of room. A nice backyard as well to run and play! If I am at your home, I will follow any directions you have to make sure that your pets get the same care that you would give them!
“Dave was fantastic! He was quick to respond from my initial inquiry. The meet and greet was a success as I could tell my pup loved him right away. Dave was communicative, on time, and followed all instructions. He was tidy and respectful of my home. I felt so at ease knowing my puppy was in good hands and having fun and the photos showing how happy Corbin was were the highlight of my day. Thank you Dave for being so wonderful and taking such great care of Corbin. I know he'll miss you. Hope to book with you again and will absolutely suggest you to friends and family!”

About: Growing up with dogs as a part of the family I have taken care of them my whole life. When I was 15 my family brought home a new puppy and I didn’t have a summer job, so she was my responsibility. Over the years I have taken care of dogs of all ages from energetic puppies to senior pups that need a little more love and understanding. I have administered medications and eye drops with ease and few trick up my sleeves. I enjoy having training sessions with the dogs and even teaching them a new trick while their family is away. This helps give them something to focus on and encourages bonding between us. I would be honored to take care of your furry family member while you’re away. I'm currently have a hybrid work schedule and would love to help out your family while I have the time. While in my current status I can do more walks, potty breaks as needed. Potty break is the first and foremost needed when I arrive at a client's home. Then a walk, a little time for some training and a little bit of play as well. It's just as important they have some mental stimulation.
About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life. At the age of ten I made a neighborhood business of walking and bathing dogs. Mainly puppies for the elderly in the neighborhood. I mainly have cared for dogs with anxiety and PTSD. My first experience with PTSD in animals was my Louie. He was a rescue from a Korean meat market. At first it was hard but it’s all about attention to detail and patience. Everyday it makes me soooo happy that he trusts me, that when I walk in the door he’s happy and jumps on me and we always run to the couch to cuddle. And just seeing him traumatized to what he is now makes my heart happy. I’m currently working 7-330 rotating weekends so I will always be available after 330. And every other weekends along with my two days off during the week. I ensure that they are well fed and have clean water. Make sure they are able to use the bathroom without having to wait a long time. Additionally I make sure the bathroom facilities are clean because they deserve the best respect we do. I give ample affection and attention to ensure they will never be lonely, keeping in mind when they are stressed and anxious by paying attention to behavioral signs.
About: My husband and I have owned dogs and cats our whole lives and I have been taking care of other people’s pets since I was in high school and have experience with cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My goal is to provide dependable care and regular updates so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. My husband and I are both approved rover pet care takers so one or both of us may be the one to help! I’m a stay at home mom with a husband who works remote so I’m very flexible! This allows me to provide consistent care, frequent potty breaks, walks, and lots of attention throughout the day. Your pet will receive plenty of supervision and companionship while in my care. We are always happy with last minute bookings, so feel free to reach out! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow each pet's routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided. I always keep pets supervised, ensure doors and gates are secure, and pay close attention during walks and outdoor time. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.
“Taylor was so great with my Cleo! She was available on short notice and was willing to meet us prior to going away for a few days. I was really worried how Cleo would react, he is an older dog and protective, but she handled him so very well! Thank so much Taylor! I will be reaching out again!”

About: I've been around cats and dogs my whole life and always enjoyed learning their unique personalities and social hierarchies. I am still (forever) mourning the loss of my childhood dogs and funnel my love for them towards any dog I encounter. I was a 4Paws sitter in college, so I have experience with socializing puppies and some basic training, while adapting to the dog's different ages. I have a cat of my own that I love like my own human child, and I spread that care and joy to any kitty I encounter! I am currently very flexible as I am new to the area and between jobs. I have the time to show your pet the care and love that it needs while you are gone! I have my own car so I can easily travel to care for multiple pets if necessary. My yard is not entirely fenced in, but there is grass in the back and front. I have one cat in my home, so I require cat-friendly dogs that can ideally be crated for short periods if needed. As far as other cats, I know it can be situational, but I do have the space to keep the cats separated to begin with/ the whole visit if necessary. All of our indoor plants are pet-friendly as well!
About: I've had dogs my entire life. I've been the go to pet sitter for my friends for years now and current take care of 4 sets of animals when their owners are away. I do everything from the basic drop-ins to staying in house with them for extended amounts of time. I clean up after everything and make sure to leave a place better than I found it when you arrive back home. I work 4 days a week in 7(ish) hour shifts, usually 3-10pm. I am up most mornings by 9 and do my best to keep up with the normal routines of the pets I watch. I want to give your pets all the love and company they are used to while you're away. I follow all instructions to the best of my ability and will be around for them as much as I can when not at work.
“Katarina is the best with our kitties! She has watched them a handful of times over the past two years! I love the photos and check-in notes she sends each visit. I know they are in safe hands!”

“Anna was great with my pup! She had never been cared for by anyone and was very afraid. Anna was very patient with her and made her feel comfortable. Would definitely book her again!!”

“My dogs took to William/were extremely at ease with him immediately - he has calming mojo 😉 He is very responsive, very punctual with his visits, and thorough with his visit reports .... and also is very conscientious and goes above and beyond - bringing in the mail and tidying up around the house if he sees something that needs attention! I would certainly recommend William to anyone needing someone to care for their furbabies!”
“I am so very happy to have connected with Rebecca! This was my first time using Rover and my 8 year old dog has very limited tolerance for “strangers” (human and canine) so I was a bit nervous about how our full 6 days away would go for our little Luna. but Rebecca made me and my pup feel comfortable from the very start! Rebecca visited twice before we left so Luna could be familiar. Rover app is amazing in keeping owners updated on sitters arrival and departure times. Rebecca was prompt each time she visited Luna and was amazing about sharing pictures and updates. I recommend Rebecca without reservation and will be reaching out again next time we head out of town.”

Highly recommend Amber. She took such good care of our cats. She even noticed a package at our front door and placed it on our kitchen counter. She checked the litter boxes, cleaned them every visit. You can tell Amber cares a great deal about animals. She always kept in communication with. We will definitely book with her again. Thank you Amber.

Monica was incredibly attentive, caring, and thoughtful, and she took care of things that I honestly didn’t even consider part of her responsibility. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my cats were in such good hands. I could tell she genuinely cared about them and their well-being. I’m extremely grateful for everything she did and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pets!

Tara is great with our puppy, Maverick! She was able to come to my home to let him out for me very last minute and even made time to come meet him before that first day. He is a puppy with a lot of energy, but she has so much patience with him and is happy to help with his training as much as possible during her visits. I am so happy that we found someone willing to come out twice a day through his puppy stage! We have already re-booked and will continue to do so as long as she is available. Thanks so much Tara and Tyler, for making these chaotic puppy days a little less stressful!

Dave was fantastic! Hope to book with you again and will absolutely suggest you to friends and family!

Julie is the best! She’s taken such great care of our pup, Lenny, and has handled a few less-than-ideal situations with so much patience and professionalism—from crate challenges to helping her through her nerves around fireworks. Julie is an excellent communicator, keeps us updated, and always gives us peace of mind when we’re away. We completely trust her with Lenny and couldn’t recommend her more highly!

I would definitely book Erin again and recommend her to anyone looking for a good cat sitter! Erin was responsive, followed all instructions, and my cats loved her! I especially appreciate it since my booking was so last minute and I wasn’t able to prepare as much as I usually do.

Abby is kind, friendly and a great communicator. She watched our two cats over the holidays, and our cats loved her! Our finicky cat who normally hides from strangers for days was sitting in Abby’s lap within the first two days of our trip. She kept our place clean, and let us know if anything was wrong, or had any questions. We will absolutely book Abby again when we go out of town.

Missy was so wonderful with my puppy Corbin! I had zero concerns leaving him in her hands. She was very communicative, followed directions, was respectful of my home, and was detailed in her updates. The photos she included in her updates were the highlight of my day! I could tell she really enjoyed her time with him and he was having fun and felt safe with her. Thank you so much, Missy!!!

I was never able to meet Taylor in person. I believe it's best to meet someone coming to your private home and explain your pets needs, but I did book her last minute. In the past, I have always met my Rover sitter in person. Not sure if I would book her in the future.
