Amber took Hazel on multiple walks each visit, made sure she was fed and watered, and clearly gave her lots of love and attention. About: I’ve basically been surrounded by dogs my entire life, so at this point being around them feels less like work and more like a lifestyle choice I never really got to vote on. I’ve had dogs all my life, and somewhere along the way I became the person people trust when they need a dog sitter. Whether it’s for a weekend, a vacation, or just a long day away, I’m used to stepping in and making sure dogs are safe, cared for, and probably a little spoiled. I also have hands-on experience working in a kennel, which taught me a lot about dog behavior, routines, and the very impressive range of chaos one animal can create before 8 a.m. Working in that environment helped me get comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I learned how to handle nervous dogs, high-energy dogs, stubborn dogs, and the occasional drama queen who acts like going outside in light rain is a personal attack. It also taught me the importance of staying calm, being observant, and keeping a good routine. Because I’ve always had dogs and regularly dog sit, caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, giving lots of attention, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I know that every dog is different. Some want nonstop play and attention, and some just want a cozy spot to nap and someone nearby who understands that they are, in fact, royalty. Overall, dog sitting is something I genuinely enjoy. I love getting to know each dog’s personality, quirks, and little habits. Spending time with dogs never really feels like a chore to me. It’s fun, rewarding, and usually comes with a lot of tail wagging, a little bit of slobber, and at least one moment where I seriously question who is in charge. This is my full time job, so I have plenty of time and attention to give your baby the best care they could possible receive! I have one friendly dog that loves to keep others company. He's been known to snuggle smaller dogs in their beds! I offer tons of park trips and outdoor time while also providing mental enrichment for those lazy pups.

About: I’ve been a dog lover since about the age of 10 when we got my family dog, Shadow, a cockapoo. As a kid and while growing up, I even trained Shadow to compete in agility competitions and took him to training weekly while also practicing with him in the backyard! When I moved out, I got my own fur baby- a golden doodle named Bubity! Obsessed doesn’t even begin to describe how much I love my dog as I have a water bottle, pair of slippers, shorts and sweatshirt with him on it! I promise to treat your dog as if they’re are my own! I’m currently working part time as a nurse while also attending classes virtually for my masters. My schedule changes weekly but I usually know it about a month in advance! I am pretty flexible on my days off and and willing to work with you in order to help take care of your fur baby! I have a fully fenced in yard and my 1 golden doodle at home. I am more than happy to host your dog for play dates in our yard. I know how hard it is to get a routine set with your dog whether it be something as simple as turning the TV on before leaving the house, walking a specific route to get them to go potty or giving them a special treat when they’re going to be left alone. About: I have been taking care of dogs most of my life. I am 57. I have done dog training and agility with 2 of our dogs. I have had a puppy and dealt with Senior dogs too. I love to give our dog lots of attention with play time, walking and outdoor activities. I love to take walks and go to other parks too. With the owner's permission, I love to go to the dog park-Bow Wow dog park and the Akron Dog Park. I give your furry one lots of attention with play time-throwing toys-playing fetch with a ball or toy. Letting them have backyard time. We have a fenced in back yard for the dogs to be free. I also will brush your dog and pet them and give them attention, while you are away. I will treat your dog like he/she is my own dog. Another place I will take dogs is Petsmart or Pet Supplies Plus for social interaction and exercise. I am at home and available most days. We have a 20 year-old Son, who also loves dogs! My Husband helps out too, with walks and letting the dogs out in our backyard and is a dog person. Currently, I am not working. I have a knee problem and some medical issues that prevent me from working full time. I have plenty of time to take care of your dog. We love to take walks and go to the dog parks. However, if you prefer your dog not to go to the dog park, that is fine. We could go on walks and let your dog go outside in our backyard. We have lots of dog toys, bones, balls, etc... I do have a walk thru pet gate that I set up to block off the kitchen and dining room area. We will feed our dog and your dog separately in separate rooms. I love to brush and pet dogs. If needed, we could bath your dog too. We are a "dog" type family, that is our preference. We have had fish, hamsters and also a guinea pig in the past. I grew up with a cat in our home, as a child. We will throw ball and toys for the dogs and play with your dog. We have a small crate that is in our garage, however we don't usually use the crate. If we leave the home, depending on the situation, if your dog is destructive or chewing on furniture or other items, then we will crate your dog when we leave for church or a short errand. If you have a calm dog and the dog is not destructive and well mannered, then your dog could stay in the family room area, unless you prefer that your dog is in his crate. We will use 2 dog gates near our steps to go upstairs. We prefer that our dog and other dogs do not go upstairs. As a House Sitter, I would do any needed cleaning up of any messes I make. I would be bringing my own food, as I am gluten free and dairy free. The only thing I would need is some freezer and frigerated space for my food. I would follow your normal routine for your dog or dogs. I do have occasional Dr and therapy appointments, fyi. We have a home in Akron, with a fence in our backyard. We live near a forest, it is a quiet area. We have a small neighborhood, where the street dead ends to a forest. We don't get drive thru traffic, that use our area as a "short cut".

This was my first time using Rover and my 8 year old dog has very limited tolerance for “strangers” (human and canine) so I was a bit nervous about how our full 6 days away would go for our little Luna. but Rebecca made me and my pup feel comfortable from the very start! Rebecca visited twice before we left so Luna could be familiar. Rover app is amazing in keeping owners updated on sitters arrival and departure times. About: Since I was young, I’ve always had a pet. After college I finally got a pet of my own and they’ve just multiplied over the years! Dogs are my specialty - I’ve taken care of dogs belonging to friends and family & I’ve trained both of my dogs since they were puppies. I’d say what sets me apart from others is that I have plenty of time in the afternoons (and any time during the weekend) to take care of your pup because my job ends early in the day unlike a 9-5 job. I have years of experience under my belt and I just really love animals. Always have and always will! As a teacher, I am always home early on the weekdays so I’ll have plenty of time every afternoon to play with & walk your dog! I am available any time on the weekends and I can board Fri-Sun. My husband and I have a big fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company! We are firm believers in lots of walks, lots of playtime, and positive reinforcement. If needed, we can provide a crate as a safe space for your dog to lounge in. Our dogs are our children and we will treat your dog with the same love as we treat our own :)

About: My husband and I foster dogs, we've recently adopted a Jack Russell mix that we became attached to. My other experience was with our family Golden Retriever and going every week to visit the dogs at our local shelter. I'm looking for a job to supplement my current job as a Dental Assistant. Hopefully I can sit or walk once or twice a week if that is all possible. We have a Jack Russell mix who loves people and other dogs, she does zooms in the fenced in yard and has his own secure space downstairs if necessary.

About: I have loved animals all my life and have been asked to watch family and friends pets on countless occasions. I believe in the importance of enrichment activities as well as the good ole belly rubs. Whatever the pet is in need of I am happy to help make their day brighter. I can’t wait to spread the love to more fur babies! I’m currently working full time but always have time for walks and playdates with your pets! Weekdays after 6:30 and weekends work the best but I am flexible! I have a2 year old Beagle Boston terrier who gets a few hours of physical activity and mental enrichment a day before winding down for snuggles and love. We spend time on training and puzzles as well as engaging walks.
