About: I’ve had cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, a horse, hamsters…. Just about any pet you could imagine. I love them all. I’ve taken care of not only my own animals but also those of friends, neighbors and family. I’ve potty trained several of my own dogs as well as palliative care for older dogs. I am an older guy with time on my hands. I really enjoy being with animals. I would like to spend the majority of my day giving attention and care when owners feel they need a little help. I treat all animals with empathy, kindness and love. My animals are cared for 24 hours a day. Play and fun are as important as food and water.

About: Growing up with dogs as a part of the family I have taken care of them my whole life. When I was 15 my family brought home a new puppy and I didn’t have a summer job, so she was my responsibility. Over the years I have taken care of dogs of all ages from energetic puppies to senior pups that need a little more love and understanding. I have administered medications and eye drops with ease and few trick up my sleeves. I enjoy having training sessions with the dogs and even teaching them a new trick while their family is away. Potty break is the first and foremost needed when I arrive at a client's home. Then a walk, a little time for some training and a little bit of play as well. It's just as important they have some mental stimulation.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I love all animals, big and small. My family often asks me to watch their dogs when they go out of town. I can assist with giving medications, feeding, walks, brushing, etc. I will be working from home starting in November. I will be available any time after 5pm. About: Hello, I’m Sarah and I am a dog groomer at a pet hotel and day camp! I have been a pet owner my whole life! Right now I have two dogs (Maya and Echo) Echo my Dalmatian is deaf. I have two cats (Mystique, and Gamora) two chinchillas (Loki and Thor) and a fish tank! They are all members of the family. I had childhood pets my whole life and working as a dog groomer inside a pet hotel gives me a lot of experience in animal care. I have been cat sitting regularly for a friends with two senior cats who take medication and used to have a personal dog who needed to take daily medication as well! Since I do have a day job that is 9-5 or whenever I am done for the day. I can only accept early morning and evening drop in visits on the days that I am working. I can accept overnight dog sitting any day as long as your pets are ok home alone while I am working. I work at a dog hotel as a dog groomer 5 days a week 9-5. I am available for early morning and evening drop in visits on the days that I am working. Any time on my days off! I am available for overnight dog sitting any day as long as your pets are ok home alone while I am working. I am familiar with all kids of different dogs and cats, their needs and how to keep them safe. In your home, or on a walk, I will follow all of your directions to the letter!

About: I have been taking care of dogs most of my life. I am 57. I have done dog training and agility with 2 of our dogs. I have had a puppy and dealt with Senior dogs too. I love to give our dog lots of attention with play time, walking and outdoor activities. I love to take walks and go to other parks too. With the owner's permission, I love to go to the dog park-Bow Wow dog park and the Akron Dog Park. I give your furry one lots of attention with play time-throwing toys-playing fetch with a ball or toy. Letting them have backyard time. We have a fenced in back yard for the dogs to be free. I also will brush your dog and pet them and give them attention, while you are away. I will treat your dog like he/she is my own dog. Another place I will take dogs is Petsmart or Pet Supplies Plus for social interaction and exercise. I am at home and available most days. We have a 20 year-old Son, who also loves dogs! My Husband helps out too, with walks and letting the dogs out in our backyard and is a dog person. Currently, I am not working. I have a knee problem and some medical issues that prevent me from working full time. I have plenty of time to take care of your dog. We love to take walks and go to the dog parks. However, if you prefer your dog not to go to the dog park, that is fine. We could go on walks and let your dog go outside in our backyard. We have lots of dog toys, bones, balls, etc... I do have a walk thru pet gate that I set up to block off the kitchen and dining room area. We will feed our dog and your dog separately in separate rooms. I love to brush and pet dogs. If needed, we could bath your dog too. We are a "dog" type family, that is our preference. We have had fish, hamsters and also a guinea pig in the past. I grew up with a cat in our home, as a child. We will throw ball and toys for the dogs and play with your dog. We have a small crate that is in our garage, however we don't usually use the crate. If we leave the home, depending on the situation, if your dog is destructive or chewing on furniture or other items, then we will crate your dog when we leave for church or a short errand. If you have a calm dog and the dog is not destructive and well mannered, then your dog could stay in the family room area, unless you prefer that your dog is in his crate. We will use 2 dog gates near our steps to go upstairs. We prefer that our dog and other dogs do not go upstairs. As a House Sitter, I would do any needed cleaning up of any messes I make. I would be bringing my own food, as I am gluten free and dairy free. The only thing I would need is some freezer and frigerated space for my food. I would follow your normal routine for your dog or dogs. I do have occasional Dr and therapy appointments, fyi. We have a home in Akron, with a fence in our backyard. We live near a forest, it is a quiet area. We have a small neighborhood, where the street dead ends to a forest. We don't get drive thru traffic, that use our area as a "short cut".

About: Hi! My name is Elle and I have been a dog lover for as long as I can remember! My soul dog, Rory, recently went to heaven- so our home is pet free! I have dogs of all sizes and all different breeds. I have never had problems with any dogs nor had any issues. About: I have worked with dogs specifically for about 3 years and some months. I’ve done Boarding/Daycare as well as Bathing. (this is where most of my experience comes from) I’ve bathed, brushed, and even trimmed nails of dogs of all kinds and ages for 2-3 years. Even though my boarding and daycare experience is new, I did enjoy it very much and I follow instruction well as long as they are direct and clear. I have extreme patience when it comes to learning the behaviors of our pets, I know not all dogs or cats are the same and they all have their boundaries and different personalities that make them special to us and I respect that. I love cats of all breeds as well. Believe it or not as much as I have dealt with all breeds I personally LOVE the big breeds, I do not mind hair or drool! (of both cats and dogs) I also have 3 cats and a Husky who is soon to turn 4! I will admit I do not know everything again every animal is different but I am willing to learn and adapt to what you and your pets need or want. All of my animals have a routine in my home. My Husky will get water before his food (he won’t even touch his food before we go outside lol) after I take him out to our lil dog park (at my apt) I then give him his food , After that I go and give my cats their water and food and clean their litter boxes (and their room) Then after my husky finishes his food for exercise we go on an hour or so walk (if you have a husky you understand lol) I am very clean dependent , I do not like a messy environment I am constantly sweeping and cleaning my apt to try and keep it as clean as possible with four pets. I do crate my husky whenever I leave , we’ve been doing as such since he was a pup!

About: Hello! I have had a love for pets my whole life! Starting when I was 12 I began to check in on my neighbor's and family member's animals. I would walk them, feed them, stay the night with them, and love on them! As a recent high school graduate, I am free both weekdays and weekends for the summer and can put my full attention and energy into watching your pet! About: All K9 Solutions is fully insured and licensed here in Akron OH. I've been training dogs for 6 years and professionally for 4 years. After I worked for reputable training companies, one here in Akron area as the head trainer, I decided to open my own company called All K9 Solutions. I grew up with dogs, and have experience with cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, chickens, and ducks as I used to manage a farm as well. I personally network all over the US with other dog trainers. One of my recent travels has been to Kansas to help host a working dog workshop with a few small departments. I have two Belgian malinois who I strive for their needs to be met daily. From mental stimulation to physical stimulation while giving them a “job”. My youngest is 3 years old and does many sports (PSA, AKC sports, and has been dabbling in odor work), and my oldest is 10, he’s a retired military explosives K9 who served on the boarder of Jordan up until 7 years old. Both the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. All of my dogs have off leash obedience training that is kept up with. I have a background in dog training, boarding, and daycare; from puppies all the way to seniors. I strive for knowledge with dogs as there’s always new information to learn and dogs aren’t cookie cutter. I’m also an STSK9 MVP student for advanced obedience. I’m very passionate about teaching others about dogs from genetics and breeds to how their psychology works. My business hours run from 7am-10pm. My availability is open from the afternoon to night time, this way all morning routines are completed, walks, potty breaks, feeding, training sessions etc. All dogs are boarded in a home environment instead of a facility. This way your dogs aren’t as stressed being away from you, and they can comfortably enjoy their vacation too. All dogs are kenneled to ensure safety (not investing anything they shouldn’t, no free roam 24/7 with other client’s dogs you don’t know, and they have their own space to decompress). Since the yard isn't fenced in, all dogs must be leashed with a properly fitted collar with a longline when going outside, a harness, or a slip lead. However, a good peaceful walk with all the smells is always more mental and physical stimulation for the dogs than a fenced in area with limited access. Reactive dogs and fearful dogs are welcome as I have years of experience with them, and training them to grow confidence and obedience. I also have experience with special need's animals. Loud dogs are welcome too. If your dog(s) show healthy body language and do well with other dogs, my two malinois are gentle beings and always love a play mate. Minka especially, she follows the other dog's pace and reads their body language. I do ask that you leave your vet information with me and emergency vet information as well for an emergency contact if ever need be. Better safe than sorry. I also do ask for a second choice of contact incase the primary owner is unable to be reached. All dogs must be up to date on vaccines and bordetella for boarding and daycare. Safety precautions are always taken. For the well being of the dogs and myself. Please note that I do require all important behaviors are made aware of by the owners before hand and I will notify owners upon any concern of sickness or bite risks. I send updates each day as well or will add photos to your rover card.
