About: Despite never having a dog of my own, I’ve been able to become a favorite human of my family & friends’ doggos. I continuously teach my parents’ middle-aged dog new tricks and believe that all dogs have the capacity to learn if they’re able to trust & rely on their caregivers, given a safe environment, and allowed to act on their curiosity. I am currently working a flexible, part-time position concurrent with efforts to build out a small business, so I have immense flexibility to care for furry friends and family members of my community. I enter animals’ homes knowing I am a guest in their space and understand that every animal needs different time to become comfortable with my presence. Some pets may need me to simply sit with them and build trust so we may interact during the next visit while others may be ready to go on adventures with me immediately. Each experience is based on what the individual needs.

“Kate is a wonderful loving person who treats her dogs like children. She is always there for fun walks and toy time. She has taken care of two dogs with pneumonia buy making sure all the meds were given on time even if she had to set an alarm and wake up at 2 or 3am. She has never met a dog that she didn't like and the same goes for the dogs that meet her in the street or the park. She is a naturally giving and loving person who knows that dogs are definitely part of the family and treats them all with love. Her training as a teacher truly shines through as she has what seems like unlimited patience. Definitely recommend her!”

About: Growing up I was always rescuing animals in need. Or just helping with the animals I already had. I’m obsessed with all furry friends. I’m very flexible, whether your animal has energy for days or more of a couch potato I can handle it all ! My schedule is decently flexible as I work nights so i’m usually always available during the day whether you need a quick pop in or a long walk to tire your pup out and get some energy expelled. I can’t care for your animal in my home but i’d be more than happy to stay in yours so your animal feels safe and comfortable in their environment.

About: even though i don’t have any pets of my own i see a lot of them throughout my day to day life. whether it be family or when i’m working at the zoo! i’m currently going to college and working part time so i have plenty of availability! the most convenient times for me are afternoons and weekends. i have a spacious living room for them to hang out in, my apartment also has a large courtyard if they want to get some fresh air!

My cat (Tahlulah) can be occasionally grumpy so I was worried about leaving her with just anyone, Tasha was so kind and patient with her that Tahlu ended up absolutely ADORING Tasha! She was timely, took care of her food, water, and litter, sent me updates and photos of my cat- she even bought Tahlulah some toys, made her a treat jar, and made me a cute cat mom key chain!! Tasha's love and care for animals shows and I will absolutely be hiring her again in the future! :)”

About: I grew up taking care of animals, and my love for them started at a very young age. I have experience working with puppies all the way up to senior age. I currently have one dog of my own who is treated like my child! I am self employed, so I have good flexibility in my weekly schedule to care for your beloved animals! Hoping to have Rover become a majority of my income as it’s been a dream of mine to do this for a living! Safety is always my #1 priority in my own home, and will be in yours. Unless you have a fully fenced in yard, I will never assume your dog can go off leash. No matter how trained your animals may be, I take it as they’re not to ensure nothing but safety for your pet!
