“For years, I have struggled with what to do with my cat and dog when I need to leave time. My usual solution was to have someone check on them at my house. The last time I did that, a good friend told me she would check in on them. But the five days I was gone, I never see her on my Ring camera checking on them, despite her claims she did. When I returned to pick them up, they had prepared a report on how they did while I was gone. Plus certificates for them! It was such a sweet touch! Even though both my dog and cat are senior pets, I finally have a solution on who will watch them if i have to leave town again! Jan and Darrell are the best! About: I see my dog as my child so I know how much yours means to you. I’ve taken care different breeds of dogs. I’ve realized that dogs who are sleepier / “lazier” and clingy are more drawn to me naturally! I am especially experienced keeping dogs that are prone to swallowing things off the ground safe :) I am home 85% of the day. I only have one class a day which is 50 minutes. I wake up early so feeding and potty time will never be an issue. I am prepared to take potty breaks every 2-4 hours no problem. Your dog will never go unattended because I also need the company and bond as a human being :) No smoking or harsh chemicals anywhere near any dog. Nothing unsafe or swallow prone on the floor. Outlets covered. Careful with where dogs mouths go on the walk. Water bowl always available. Abiding strictly to owners feeding routines.

“I had a trip planned a year ago and since then, adopted a puppy. I almost had to cancel my trip because my puppy was 13 weeks old and not yet fully vaccinated. I was nervous leaving a puppy who is still working on his behaviors (eg chewing!) and is not reliably potty trained. Fortunately, I found Duya. She was able to accommodate my puppy and ensure he was the only in the home, which was important for me because of his vaccination status. Duya was kind, patient, and gracious! She is also a great dog photographer/videographer judging by the pictures she sent me during his stay. I highly recommend Duya if you’re in the area and looking for a sitter.”

About: Hi! My name is Sherleen and I love dogs and have always grown up with them. I had a childhood chihuahua that I took care of for over 15 years. I now have a malte poo and a pug that I’ve been raising for over 11 years since before they could be weaned from their mom. You can imagine the nights waking up to feed them like human babies! I’ve picked up doggie accidents that seemed like natural disasters and have groomed and bathed my dogs since having them. I’ve cared for dogs from shelters who have trust issues around humans, dogs with behavioral issues and health issues. This includes giving them routine medication around the clock, dedicating time to gaining trust, or as simple as them needing help cleaning themselves after using the restroom. I own 2 Brachycephalic dogs so I also understand the attention those breeds require. Personally, my pug is allergic to fleas and ticks so my house and yard are flea and tick free for her safety! I am a college student who’s doing classes in person on the mornings and can 100% dedicate attention and care. Please message me if you need me during a day I don’t have “available”!!! I’m also really available during holidays! I can do special requests and update my calendar for you (M,Th, 11:30 pm- 6pm) (T, 1:30 and ongoing) (W, 12:30 - 6pm) Just message me and I’ll work something out for your situation! Pets are our babies and deserve nothing less! I currently work with students as an orchestra tutor and a coach working with students ranging of ages. I work around schedules for students and I can do the same for people needing pet sitting! I As a school district worker I am required to do background checks and fingerprints to be a teacher, I understand having a stranger take care of your dog can be stressful but with this knowledge I hope I can ease some of your minds. As a dog owner it’s only essential to give your dog attention, interaction and above all, patience. Dogs like playing, walking or just chilling with their owners and those things vary between dogs! Some have way more energy than other dogs and it’s important to know what they need especially since they can’t talk for themselves. In my household I have a yard that my dogs stay outside for the majority of the day. When bringing in new dogs, I will keep your dog/s indoors and take care of their needs at all times with me so in the case they’re not used to other pups I have a barrier.

“I’m grateful Anna was able to accommodate our last minute booking, even squeezing a meet n greet in the limited time we had, and she was able to extend their stay too! She was confident meeting my big breed, energetic, & strong dog, which was so reassuring. During their stay, my (sometimes) menace of a cat was kindly described as curious, and I was told both boys were such fun to have in the house! (Always love to hear that!) Her home is spacious & comfortable, and I know my babies felt so loved & cozy being cared for by Anna & doted on by her roomies. Thank you so much for everything!
