“Quetzaly has been wonderful with our pets. She first sat for our cat, Gemini, and we felt like she took such great care of her that we never had to worry while we were away. Because of that great experience, we thought she would be a great sitter for our 5-month-old puppy, Sesame. My partner was out of town for the weekend and I was working nights that week, so we needed someone to watch Sesame, and Quetzaly was available on short notice. We’re so happy we booked with her—Sesame clearly had a great time! Quetzaly followed all of our instructions carefully and took great care of our girl. She kept us updated with pictures and the Rover card, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. We never had to worry about Sesame while we were away. About: I have had about 3 dogs in my entire lifetime and I love them! I have helped take care of family and friends dogs and I would love to walk your dog as well! I have Mondays and Fridays mainly free for the summer. I also have Wednesday midday and small hour slots throughout Tuesday and Thursday! If you have a pup who needs a way to burn energy throughout the day, I'll be there for them! Specific times: Monday: Any time Tuesday: 11-12:30; 5:30-10 Wednesday: 11-12:30; 3-10 Thursday: 11-2:15; 7:30-10 Friday: Any time Saturday: 5-10 Sunday: Any time I have a small backyard with a tall wall that would prevent dogs from running out. I have a relatively large first floor living area with lots of space for a dog to run around. I am home for the most part and am willing to constantly watch and care for a dog.

About: Hi! My name is Sherleen and I love dogs and have always grown up with them. I had a childhood chihuahua that I took care of for over 15 years. I now have a malte poo and a pug that I’ve been raising for over 11 years since before they could be weaned from their mom. You can imagine the nights waking up to feed them like human babies! I’ve picked up doggie accidents that seemed like natural disasters and have groomed and bathed my dogs since having them. I’ve cared for dogs from shelters who have trust issues around humans, dogs with behavioral issues and health issues. This includes giving them routine medication around the clock, dedicating time to gaining trust, or as simple as them needing help cleaning themselves after using the restroom. I own 2 Brachycephalic dogs so I also understand the attention those breeds require. Personally, my pug is allergic to fleas and ticks so my house and yard are flea and tick free for her safety! I am a college student who’s doing classes online this summer and can 100% dedicate attention and care. Dogs are our babies and deserve nothing less! I currently work with students as an orchestra tutor and a coach working with students ranging of ages. I work around schedules for students and I can do the same for people needing pet sitting! As a school district worker I am required to do background checks and fingerprints to be a teacher, I understand having a stranger take care of your dog can be stressful but with this knowledge I hope I can ease some of your minds. As a dog owner it’s only essential to give your dog attention, interaction and above all, patience. Dogs like playing, walking or just chilling with their owners and those things vary between dogs! Some have way more energy than other dogs and it’s important to know what they need especially since they can’t talk for themselves. In my household I have a yard that my dogs stay outside for the majority of the day. When bringing in new dogs, I will keep your dog/s indoors and take care of their needs at all times with me so in the case they’re not used to other pups I have a barrier.

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was 12. I grew up with cats and love their personalities. I have one kitty now, his name is Ricky. I first provided dog/house-sitting services for my professor in college for about 5 days where I fed, played and walked her lovely Border Collie. I began to cat sitting/drop ins for my brother and sister-in-law two years ago while they were away on vacation in the summer and have been doing it since. I am happy to care for both cats and doggos alike. I work a full time job, but can provide drop in services in the evenings for your pets while you’re away or make arrangements to cat/dog sit in your home. I am also available weekends! My availability will reflect on the calendar. I abide by your house rules and preferences when house sitting your pet in your home. If your pet gets anxious with new people around, I think it’s always best to have me meet them with you before you leave. I am happy to provide daily updates and send you photos. If there is any doubt about your pets needs, I’ll be sure to communicate those with you directly.

About: I have been surrounded by pets all my life whether it’s family, family friend, or friend’s pets, they’ve all loved me. I am also on top with my communication and very responsive so it will be a bonus to get good updates with your furball ! I have a cat that I take care of everyday; Properly fed, played, and cuddly with. I have a lot time spent with my cat and my availability is very open as I spend a lot of time being home. I take care of pets by following directions from owners, feeding them properly, providing them good attention, and will be able to communicate all the time about pets. As a dog owner, I know how important it is to find the right care for your fur-baby which is why I want to give your pet everything they'll ever need! I have been a pet owner my whole life and I have experience with doggies of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. I have experience with elderly dogs, puppies, and high energy dogs (I have two terriers at home). I also have experience with adopted shelter dogs who may have troubled pasts. I know that they can be nervous/anxious around outsiders/strangers, but I am very patient and gentle and could accommodate your dog if this is the case. I am very empathetic and patient and believe all animals should be given proper care! With that being said, I would love to assist you with your pet needs!

About: For most of my childhood, I never was allowed to have a pet, despite being so eager to have one. However, I did know many friends and families who had dogs and cats, whom I would visit frequently. I would help feed them, walk them, play with them, give them gentle petting when they were receptive, etc. As a teenager I moved around a lot with my single mother and my younger sister, so I got to live with a few different pet owners: One of my adult roommates had an old senior Shih Tzu. The sweet girl had poor vision and moved slowly, but I did my best to help my roommate and handled her dog with care everyday. Another woman I lived with had two cats; the male was affectionate and friendly, and the female was the feisty and shy one. I approached both very differently, aware of their boundaries, and formed a sweet bond with both :) Then my mother’s friend, who had a bunny! I learned a lot about how to give them healthy and fulfilling lives. Bunnies are very high maintenance, yet admittedly my favorite animal to care for. It’s why I actually ended up having a pet rabbit to spend every day with when I lived with my grandmother for years. I’m now living in a faraway town and unable to see my sweet bunny as often, but I’m most experienced in rabbit care and grooming!! All in all, I get along with most animals, and I find animals of all types just precious, even during the more lackluster aspects of having them. I understand each pet is their own individual with unique needs and I will always be attuned to that. I feed crows and pigeons (not around other animals though), I photograph insects and reptiles… yes, I just love animals and living creatures. I have plenty of money saved, but currently no income coming in because I don’t have a job. This is a way I am trying to make money to continue to save up for life expenses. As a result, I am literally free whenever, haha! I have no defined schedule whatsoever, but I do have routines and a list of hobbies I’d love to pursue in my journal. I get up early in the morning to walk around my neighborhood usually, and I do the same during sunset. The rest of the day depends; sometimes I read non-fiction, other times I head to Lake Evans, or see a live music performance at a cafè. I also dedicate some entire days to activism and fundraisers, so if I’m unavailable to care for a pet I will simply be upfront about that! I have a two story house, and it’s quite spacious! For rabbits or other animals that need an extra danger-proof house, the floors are almost completely free of things that pose any danger (such as sharp objects or accessible wires), and can be blocked off when there are visitors. The house has a mix of smooth wooden and carpeted flooring. I have three roommates, but only one is consistently staying in the house, and spends most time outside of the house. She has expressed permission to allow an animal every once in a while, she is trustworthy, and I would never leave an animal around any other human being unsupervised. The house also has a spacious backyard with high fencing and grass. The neighborhood itself is fantastic for dog walking! There’s a walkway with trees, flower bushes, small fields of grass, and it’s a hotspot for hummingbirds haha.
