About: My mother raised me alongside a puppy in an area dense with wildlife. Along with our growing dog, we often had rodents, birds, or stray cats to take care of. In high school I took care of mice, and owned two sets of rats. The dog I was raised with passed at age 20, and I am experienced in taking care of senior pup needs. I'm currently working part time, and my ideal days to hang out with your pets are Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This will be the case until college starts again in the fall. I have a fenced in home as well as lots of access to pet supplies. I love all parts of animal care, whether it be active play or just snuggling on the couch. Having a senior dog, I am also experienced in handling minor medical situations.

About: I’ve cared for dogs all shapes and sizes, from a young age. I come from a family of dog lovers. My fur babies are a Maltese and a Yorkie Terrier. My favorite breed is Dobermans. I’ve trained my dogs multiple tricks and potty trained them. I’ve been a dog walker for just over 5 years. I’m currently employed full time. I live only 15 minutes from work, so I can stop by as needed. I care for my dogs daily and frequent a near by park for longer walks. I’m off weekends so my schedule is flexible on those days. I have a 3 bedroom apartment with a fenced balcony patio. The patio has a small grass potty pad for quick potty breaks. Just outside my building is a large grass play area. Not fenced, but the sidewalks make for a good walk to stretch their paws. My two dogs do great with other dogs and will be great company for your pup. I have plenty of toys to keep them all entertained.

“For years, I have struggled with what to do with my cat and dog when I need to leave time. My usual solution was to have someone check on them at my house. The last time I did that, a good friend told me she would check in on them. But the five days I was gone, I never see her on my Ring camera checking on them, despite her claims she did. Then a friend told me that Rover has pet sitters who will watch your pets at their house. That’s how I found Janice and Darrell, the best pet sitters I have ever used. From the moment I met them, I could tell they genuinely love animals. They are also very knowledgeable about caring for dogs and cats and immediately felt comfortable leaving Sunny and Rosie with them for a week. While I was gone, they sent me updates and photos how they were doing. My pets looked happy and content, which made my own vacation more enjoyable and stress free. When I returned to pick them up, they had prepared a report on how they did while I was gone. Plus certificates for them! It was such a sweet touch! Even though both my dog and cat are senior pets, I finally have a solution on who will watch them if i have to leave town again! Jan and Darrell are the best! About: Ever since I can remember I've had dogs and other critters as pets. I grew up reading dog magazines and books and have always loved taking care of them and having them be part of the family. At one point we had a total of 9 living with us at home. I've had the privilege of having both big and small dogs, pure bred, mixed, and rescued. The only downside of owning a pup is that they don't live long enough; however I am thankful that I was able to care for my dogs as they aged and hold them even when they crossed the rainbow bridge. For overnights: I'll treat your home and environment with respect and make sure your pup is cared for.

This was my first time leaving them with a dog sitter, so I was naturally a little nervous, but she made the entire experience completely stress-free. Her communication was outstanding from start to finish. She always responded quickly to my messages, kept me updated on how my dogs were doing, and sent me plenty of pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. “I could not recommend Meena enough! She took wonderful care of my two dogs for 7 days. One of our dogs is a rescue with separation anxiety and insecurity. It took him 2-3 days to settle in, and unfortunately he also bit her at one point. Despite this, Meena remained patient and kind, and communicated promptly with me about the situation. By the end of the stay, he was comfortable and followed her around everywhere. Our other dog also had a great time as he came back calm and happy. I'd trust her with my dogs again without hesitation and recommend her highly to anyone.”
