“Brandy was a lifesaver! She cared for our dog who was diagnosed with diabetes and ketonosis just days before we went out of town. Our dog was released from a 24 hour care facility while we were gone and she took care of his injections, special diet, and pills. There was even a scare for his glucose level, and she took him to the vet which was 30 minutes away. I highly recommend her!!”

“Brooke is the best! She set up a meet and greet with me and my dog (who can be a little fearful of bigger pups) to make sure that everyone was comfortable before booking. Brooke is extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior and her own dogs are very well trained. She allowed my dog to come for a brief daycare visit as a first test, and everything went perfect! Brooke is very attentive to the animals in her care, took tons of cute photos, and let me know how everything went at pick up. I highly recommend Brooke for pet care needs!!”

She seemed to do very well with our puppers and even met us at our destination(children’s museum) to pick Tata up. She was very understanding when we had to cut the day short due to toddler tantrums. “I’m a newbie to Rover, and a newbie dog owner. I’m a mama to the sweetest little guy, Pip, and he’s a huge mamas boy. In 2020, I adopted him from a humane society and was so excited, I forgot to ask about his story. However, I feel like I learn about him in different ways. I’ve learned he’s got some separation anxiety and doesn’t like being left alone. I cannot recommend Lisa enough, or thank her enough for taking Pip in for a day and caring for him. I was stressing out because I knew I’d be gone for at least 5 hours, possibly more. I didn’t know what to do with Pip and my options were unavailable. Lisa worked with me, was patient, kind, and understanding. Even as we first showed up, she talked to me and asked me questions. “Tonia's life is surrounded by animals. She has rescued and/or nursed back to health dogs, cats, chipmunks, birds, turtles, you name it. She has watched my 2 pitbulls and 2 cats. Helped me with Vet visits when I'm stuck at work. I even call her when I think my dog is sick because she is knowledgeable of the typical things that go on with animals such as an abscess tooth or a tick on my dog. You can 1000% trust her to take the best care of your animals. 10/10 recommend.”

About: New to river, not new to caring for animals. I’ve had dogs and cats in my household my entire life. Most of them started as puppies, so I have experience with all ages from potty training, teaching commands, training to walk on and off leash. I am very easy going, patient, and can accommodate to any of your or your fur babies needs. I currently work full time from 8-5 Monday through Friday. I will provide care in the morning and evenings during the week. I am available for all day care on weekends. I also have an hour for lunch during the week which I will go provide care if needed. My dog unfortunately passed somewhat recently which is why I’m trying to get involved in more pups lives. I currently live in an apartment in northside which allows dogs 25 lbs and under. If house trained, they can have their freedom to roam and sit anywhere they would like(unless you do not allow on furniture) If not, they will be crated while I’m away at work. Northside is a great area with a many dogs around and many safe roads to walk on.

“Trinity took excellent care of Oreo, our Shih Tzu "Teddy Bear" mix, while we were out of town. She was very attentive to his needs, she took him on daily walks through Mt. Airy Forest, and let him play in the nearby dog park. She was excellent at communicating with me so I knew he was safe and happy. I highly recommend her for caring for pets. “Rachelle is awesome! She really cares for my dogs needs and knows how to handle her reactivity to other dogs. She read the long list I gave her of info on our dog and sent multiple updates during the day. And she was able to handle my dogs quirky behavior really well (a mini dachshund). I really recommend Rachelle if you want ur dog to have more individualized care than just a boarding kennel. And Rachelle is really nice as well. I’ll be coming back for sure when we go out of town!”
