“We felt very confident having our 14 yr. old sheltie stay with Tasha and Joe. The day before we were to take her to their house, our dog developed bloody stools and required an emergency vet appt. Fortunately, she only required meds and Joe assured us he would give her the meds required and watch to see if any other issues appeared. They sent daily pics and updates. I was also gkad to know they had other dogs as I feel she enjoys the social interaction and helps her settle in better. She returns next week for another stay.”

About: Hello! I’m a Part-Time working Momma and we love animals! I have grown to enjoy dogs mostly. I’ve had a pet dog for a great amount of my life as well as other animals like rabbits, fish and snakes! Size or age doesn't matter, they are all fun. I love their energy and seeing how they interact with loved ones. I frequently help out family members with their dogs which includes bathing, walking, picking up their food and medicine. About: Hi! I'm Elijah and I'd love to care for your dogs whether you're going on vacation or simply need a sitter for the day. I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely). Tuesday and Thursday are the two days I have a class and I'm always home after that! The class is only 2 hours long so any guest pets won't be alone very long at all. I'm home all day every day otherwise! The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate, you can bring that as well for me to use if this is how your pet is normally kept while left alone.
About: I am over the top when it comes to animals. I typically go above and beyond in play and in care. I love to groom them, go hiking or on extended walks and cuddle! I am currently a nursing student who is trying to make extra money so I can stop working during clinicals. Also I have a small child that I could always use extra money for! I have tons of experience with house training and crate training puppies. I volunteer at our local animal shelter weekly and have developed a strong bond with the rescue community. I have been able to adapt and learn how to handle each unique personality. My time as a foster and shelter volunteer has really showed me what my true passion is! My schedule is very flexible and I'm usually able to accommodate last minute requests. Unless I have another client , my schedule is almost always open. I volunteer at the shelters on Tuesday mornings but I can always rearrange my volunteer days. My home is fenced in and I have crates for my own dogs, also extra crates for your dogs. My dogs have multiple play styles so I can adapt to just about any personality. I only ask that if your dogs are boarding in my home they are animal and kid friendly. If you're nervous about your dogs being around dogs you don't know, I understand. I can easily rotate the dogs time so they never even have to interact, as I have baby gates to keep them separated. I have a big fenced in yard so your dog will get plenty of play time. If you want boarding in your home I can do that too. I can provide plenty of love and play for them. Whatever you are comfortable with in your home just let me know! I also always will send tons of pictures. If you have puppies I can absolutely help with potty and also crate training if they aren't crate trained yet.
About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. I have a fenced in yard in the back (will have a fully fenced in yard by the end of August in the front). My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.
About: I've owned and cared for dogs and cats my whole life and this is the first time I'm without my own. I'm very good at feeling animals needs out and staying connected with them so that they feel as comfortable as possible in a new space. About: I have had three dogs of my own - Bear, Snickers, and Annie! I loved each one of them so much and gave them the world. Now, let me give the world to yours when we get to have adventures together on walks, at parks, and at home with lots of pet cuddle time! I am a graduate student but make plenty of time to hang out with your pets during the day and in the evenings! I give daily walks and lots of play time and cuddle time each day we spend together! I normally dog sit at the persons home while I am caring for their pets. I find that this allows the pets to feel most comfortable and have the best experience while their families are away.

About: I have always owned dogs and one is medium sized and one is small. I got a five month old puppy when I was 14 and trained her fully. I dog sit for family and friends and want to expand and do more dog sitting! I love cuddling with dogs, taking them for walks, and playing with them. About: Although I currently have two pets of my own, I can’t get enough of animals. Therefore, spending time with other pets warms my heart endlessly. I have two cats that require lots of attention and love. They have separate feeding times and amounts, have multiple litter boxes, and need frequent brushings. One cat has urinary tract issues and sometimes has accidents that have to be cleaned up multiple times a day. They also enjoy being chased as a form of exercise, as well as “hunting” for their toys. My one cat is allowed outside only if he is being held or is in his harness. The other cat does not go outside. I live very close to a road so I do not like the idea of letting my cats out on their own.

About: You can count on me to treat your pet like another member of my family. Growing up on a farm exposed me to animals of all sizes from an early age and gave me a deep love for them. We always had dogs and cats, plus other animals. Because of this, I am comfortable administering medications to your pets and ensuring they get the love and attention you are looking for. I've had my rescue Pit, Rusty, for the past 5 years, and I love being a dog dad. I am a bit of a runner, so I am happy to take on high-energy dogs, whether that is for a longer walk or a good run. I am looking forward to helping you with your pet's needs and working toward being their new best friend! I currently work remotely as a freelancer and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule both during the day and evenings. I can host most weekends and live down from Eden Park. I'll do my best to work around your pet's needs and routine to meet you where you are! I believe in following what works best for your pet and reinforcing any behaviors/training you are currently working on with them. I also believe every pet should be loved and spoiled just like any family member. My day job is communications and marketing, so you can expect regular and consistent updates from me.
