About: I've owned and cared for dogs and cats my whole life and this is the first time I'm without my own. I'm very good at feeling animals needs out and staying connected with them so that they feel as comfortable as possible in a new space. I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely!). Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are the 3 days I have classes and I'm always home after that! Tuesday and Thursday I have a 2-hour class, and Saturday is my long day with a 10 hour clinical so my bookings will be closed for that specific day. The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate for your animal, you can bring that as well for me to use if I must leave for a short time.

About: I am over the top when it comes to animals. I typically go above and beyond in play and in care. I love to groom them, go hiking or on extended walks and cuddle! I am currently a nursing student who is trying to make extra money so I can stop working during clinicals. Also I have a small child that I could always use extra money for! About: Although I currently have two pets of my own, I can’t get enough of animals. Therefore, spending time with other pets warms my heart endlessly. I have two cats that require lots of attention and love. They have separate feeding times and amounts, have multiple litter boxes, and need frequent brushings. One cat has urinary tract issues and sometimes has accidents that have to be cleaned up multiple times a day. They also enjoy being chased as a form of exercise, as well as “hunting” for their toys. My one cat is allowed outside only if he is being held or is in his harness. The other cat does not go outside. I live very close to a road so I do not like the idea of letting my cats out on their own.

I once noticed a cat I was caring for had worms and I relayed this to the owner. Another time, I noticed during a nail trim that a cat had a claw growing into its paw pad. The owner was so glad I caught these things and informed them. I have driven pets to the vet for a client. I have walked dogs, and cared for chickens and geckos. I am precise when following directions provided by the pet owner. I LOVE taking pictures of pets and will send them over every day. I have 4 cats of my own, so their care is a daily routine for me. “I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch.
