“Finding Leidy was such a blessing. Her first message after I sent the request through Rover started with “Good Evening … “. That somehow assured me and made me wish that everything works out and I can book Leidy. So when she agreed and the timings worked out for her, it felt like Mano and Mao would be in a good place for the 4 days. While I was so emotional during the drop off, setting everything up in her basement and explaining everything felt right. My cats are very well-behaved but they take a long time building trust so I already knew they would mostly be underneath the sofa and bed. Leidy did her best and let them be. They would come out of their hiding spots to eat and that was reassuring that they were eating and using the bathroom despite the change of environment. Overall, it was nice conversing with Leidy through the messages and through the pictures she would share. I am grateful that our first time of passing on care for Mano and Mao was with Leidy. If I ever come across an emergency again or get to know of someone who needs a sitter, I will surely think of Leidy to contact. Thank you Leidy!”

About: We have a zoo of our own: 2 golden retrievers and 3 cats. We'd love to help care for your baby while you are away! I have raised dogs all my life, and have work experience in a dog grooming facility. I can administer medication, cater to special diets, and any special requirements that your furry family member may need. Sammi is full time tattoo artist with a flexible schedule and Jerry is a UX designer who works remotely. We are an animal-loving couple who can take on pet sitting requests depending on who is free. We will be predominantly offering drop-in service at our clients' homes and providing dog-walking services. Since we have dogs and cats at our own home, we will not be able to provide boarding service at our home.

About: I have lived with cats my whole life so I am very comfortable with them and know how to read them, even ones that are on the more temperamental side. I also have experience taking care of kittens. Dogs and cats both love me because I love to give them attention and am happy to play or cuddle with them. I have experience caring for dogs with challenges such as PTSD and anxiety. Currently this is my main job, so I have a lot of availability and can devote a lot of time and attention to your pet. I am happy to drive or take the train to your home in Nassau, Queens, or Brooklyn. I am available for short drop in visits or long term housesitting and overnight stays.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was little, I love animals currently I have three cats and one dog. I’ve always been an animal lover. About: I have had many breeds of dogs from a young age. I take care of my dogs with great pride. Feeding, grooming & taking my dog for checkup. Heartguard & flea & tick prevention. My love for dogs from many years still continues. My dog Molly is almost 8 & she is the love of our household. I started the love of dogs at a young age with my dog Lassie, then my family had Siber, a white Samoyed. We adopted a mix Doberman/German Sheppard. Then a female Maltese Chardonnay. My wife & daughter now are sharing my love as first time dog owners with Molly. We adopted her from North Shore Animal league. Any dog I would take care of, I would show compassion & care. I am retired from full time work today , I am available when you need me , message me! I am fully free on weekends as well so any time is fine! I was active in 2018 but now after 5 yrs , I am active walking dogs again . I am available for dog walking or sitting 7 days a week . When going on walks I can put on booties/sweater/jacket and harness if needed and then I would take them on a nice walk to help them get exercise, energy out and do all their business. I am very cautious to make sure they are safe and not eating anything random of the street or steping in harmful things.

About: I have always loved animals of all kinds and all ages. I have experience in potty training, crate training, and basic commands and socialization skills I'm currently a stay at home mom. I have 2 toddlers gentle toddlers who are also animal lovers..We have a poodle who is very friendly and we will love to welcome your fur baby to our home.
