About: Although I've never personally owned a cat, I've been around cats since my teenage years through family, friends, our family farm, and pet sitting. I'm comfortable feeding cats, refreshing their water, playing with them, brushing them, providing companionship, following medication instructions that I'm comfortable performing, and caring for them while their owners are away. I'm also willing to handle litter box cleaning as part of their normal care routine. I understand that cats can have very different personalities and boundaries. I don't assume every cat wants immediate attention. About: Hi, I'm Bri! I am 28 years old and a registered nurse (for humans). I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’m considering a career in animal care too! I adopted my first dog and rabbit when I was 9. Then, about 10 years ago, I fostered 2 dogs from a shelter and wound up adopting one of them. I have taken a lot of my neighbours and friends dogs on walks to the park and around the neighbourhood. I have a lot of experience with feeding, playing, cleaning, and walking dogs. Since I’m a nurse, I’m open to medical accommodations as well! Overall, any furbaby deserves eternal love! I'm up for discussion about availability and hours. Since I have 2 pets of my own, an example of my usual pet routine consists of morning breakfast, walking the dog 3 times a day, playing with my cat throughout the day, and dinner. For your own pets, I can come to visit and play, feed and/or walk. Just let me know what their routine is like! First things first, safety! I will always assess the well being of your fur baby first. When going on walks, I am careful about street safety and weather to make sure we are safe on all aspects! Any weather that may be too intense can be dangerous for pets. I am very receptive to body language, which is so important with animals since it’s their way to communicate. Everyone, including our fur babies, deserves to have their own boundaries respected.

This time, Nene had a small rash on her back left leg that required the application of topical ointment twice daily. Jonisha and her family not only assured us they would handle it but went above and beyond by putting a soft cone on Nene to prevent her from licking the hot spot. Their attentiveness and care truly exceeded our expectations. As usual, Jonisha and her family kept us updated with lots of videos and pictures. It warmed my heart to see how well-cared-for and at ease Nene and Scrappy were. They fit right in with Jonisha’s family and her two dogs. The videos showed them outside, romping around and active, while the pictures captured them snuggling and resting together, as well as with Jonisha and her family members.
