“My dog loves Marie. He looks forward to her visits and is always happy to see her. We trust her to take excellent care of our dog too. It is so nice to know he is in good hands when we are away. She loves dogs and they know it!”

About: I’m a very gentle and responsible person. I will take stellar care of your pets. I will follow any instructions that you give to me. I’m retired so I have lots of free time to love and walk and feed your pets. I would be honored to do so for you. I’m happy to walk your dogs around our lovely neighborhood. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I can take them to the dog park.

“Our senior rescue, Buffy, enjoyed her initial meeting and first walk with Kiah. Kiah responded quickly to my inquiry and promptly confirmed a last minute booking. Because Kiah was patient and kind upon arrival it didn't take long to gain Buffy's trust. They had a good walk around the neighborhood. Kiah is personable and a good communicator, providing an end of booking report card complete with pictures. Thank you Kiah. We look forward to our next booking.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have over two years of experience as a dedicated dog sitter. Growing up with dogs taught me how to understand their needs, and I take pride in providing attentive, reliable care. I’m committed to ensuring your dog feels safe and loved, while also meeting your expectations as an owner. I have recently started nursing school but it’s all online this semester so I’m looking for some extra jobs to pick up. I’m home most days so I can be flexible with your schedule! We’ve got a house with a backyard (unfenced, so I keep pups supervised and leashed). There are lots of nearby spots for walks—and even the beach when it’s cool enough! I’m comfortable giving meds, caring for senior dogs, and following whatever instructions you leave. Can’t wait to meet your pup!

About: I'm Christina, let me start by saying I'm a HUGE animal lover and have had many pets of over the years. I am currently a member of PSI (Pet Sitters International). I've always been the "go to" for my friends and family when they’re going out of town, to watch their pets. Not only am I an animal lover and take great care of them, but I currently have 2 cats of my own, who are like my children...spoiled! Leaving your babies in others hands is often difficult, I know from personal experience, but I was honestly amazed the first time I booked someone on Rover to care of my pets. It was incredible how this brand new sitter cared for my babies, I felt instantly at ease, comfortable and worry free. My cats are skittish and not comfortable with new people right away, and by day 2 they were laying all over the sitter and out playing when she came by for her visits. I would love to be able to provide that same experience for someone in need. For you to rest assured that your pet(s) will be well taken care of, fed, hydrated, played with and walked plenty while you’re out enjoying your day. I’m notorious for being very affectionate to animals, so I hope they don’t mind lots of kisses, scritches and tummy rubs! I have one diabetic cat who requires insulin injections twice daily with each meal, so to administer any medications is no problem at all, as I do have the experience. I'd love the opportunity to get to know and spend time with your babies and care for them as I would care for my own. I want all my clients to feel 100% comfortable leaving their babies in my hands as I truly understand the importance of knowing they are safe and well taken care of. I have very flexible availability, I can easily accommodate clients during the week or on weekends. Morning, afternoon and/or night are no issue. I prefer to sit at the pets home, as there is more of a comfort level for them in their own environment. Also, I have cats and would not put my own pets in an uncomfortable or high stress position by introducing new animals into their personal environment. Being clear and concise regarding your pets needs, wants and routine is imperative when booking. I want to make sure they are as comfortable as possible with me and that they are sticking to whatever routine they follow. It's important to have the least amount of stress for them and for yourself and for everyone to feel secure.

About: I've grown up always having a dog in the home and being apart of the caring that goes into it. Now, as an adult, I still have that responsibility with my own 3 cats. I have been asked to care for neighbor's pets in the past- ranging from 7 cats to elderly dogs. I treat all fur babies like my own! I am currently working on getting into grad school, so my schedule is currently flexible. I'm good for a short pop-in & play or a bit of a longer visit to ensure your pet is safe and happy. I currently have 3 cats- which is a lot of love and fur. Everyday they look to me for their food- and know what time they get it. Watch me while I clean their litter boxes. And while I wish I could take them on walks with me, they just aren't made for that life. But I still love to go for walks and would love to have some furry company!

“Kathleen was able to come last minute and take Stache for a walk. So helpful since I had to work late.”

“Thomas and Courtney have been working together the month of September and it is going very well. I find Courtney to be exceptionally understanding of Thomas' needs & quirks and she is a very pleasant young lady. So all in all, I think this is going well.”

“Adam did a great job taking care of my pets during my vacay. His communication was awesome and he held my reservation until we were able to meet in person, which I really appreciated! I also loved the pics of my fur babies each day while I was away. Thanks Adam!”

Lynette K.
“By way of professional background, Lynette has welcomed my terrible dogs into her home on many occasions. She has a big heart for even the worst-behaved pets. By way of personal background, she is my mother. Regardless, I will try to stay unbiased per the Rover site terms and conditions. I have two little dogs of my own that love to run around at Lynette’s house, and she takes care of them handily (and with love). For what it’s worth, I also trust her to care for my two human children. I’m sure your dogs will love playing with Lynette as much as all of the animals in my family do.”

“I’ve been friends with Christina for about 8 years now. She’s had pets for as long as I’ve known her and takes really great care of them and loves them like her kids. I also have 2 cats that Christina has been around and they come right up to her and respond really well, they definitely sense she’s an animal lover. I would highly recommend her to pet sit for your animals as I know they would be in excellent hands. Our cats are super comfortable around her and I would personally use her for pet sitting services anytime. She is the best!”

Abigaile Z.
“Abbey loves to be around any animal! Growing up she has had a dog, cat, and a bunny. She cares about their health and well being. When Abbey is with any Rover animal, they will be cared for and loved. Whether it be a walk, feeding, house stay, or play time, the animal will feel the love that she brings. Abbey is also very good with her communication. She will be sure to communicate to the paw-rent about how their babies are doing! Abbey would be a great addition to the Rover community!”

She has successfully trained several service dogs over the past several years. She is always a go to with any questions people have regarding their pets and is always the first-person people go to watch their dogs while on vacation. Beth is absolutely the best person to care for your pets!”

Trina D.Star Sitter
“I have been working with dog rescue and rescuing dogs for 25 years. I can not recommend Trina enough. Throughout the 30+ years I know her, she has taken in several dogs, who through no fault of their own, found themselves homeless and sometimes in very rough shape. Her pets get the best care. Two of my rescues have been a guest at Trina's. One of my rescue bassets came to me later in life and had deep insecurity problems. Zach and Jack (no Dude at that time) both made her feel relaxed and Zach was especially comforting, laying next to her on the couch. My other rescue, is a bit bossy and I was worried when we scheduled our visit. The 3 boys all gave her a thorough sniff over and then all settled in well. Trina's dogs are well socialized and quite loving. Trina's calm nature adds a comfort and stability to the house.”

Kimberly R.
“Kimberly was amazing! She takes care of my "mature" 15-year-old dog and wild kitten when I travel for work. She house sits as well as does drop-ins/walks. She is patient and so good with my animals. They even get the zoomies when she is over! She sends lots of pics/videos while I am away, which makes leaving them so much easier. She is flexible, and I know she loves animals like hers. Also, she administers my dog's medication daily, and it better at it than me. I would def recommend her to anyone who loves their pets as much as I do!”
