Marie B.

“Marie was our Dog Walker two times a day from February 21. 2023 to March 4, 2023. It was a wonderful experience for Bobb the Beagle, my mom (Ruth Cooke) and myself (Lani Iliff). She was so friendly and loving to Bobb and he looked forward to her visits each and every day even after she no longer was his walker he hoped she would show up. I would recommend her to anyone who needs this service. We only needed her during my absence as my mom is presently disabled and cannot walk him.”

Lily M.

“Lily was wonderful and prompt showing up for her walks with my buddy! Highly recommended and I will use her services again :)”

About: I have had many animals (dogs, cats, birds, iguana, hamster, fish, snails and now a rabbit) throughout my life and am very compassionate. I believe animals bring joy to us and smiles on our faces. They are so special. I am great with puppies as well as seniors because I am very patient. I work from home and have flexibility with my schedule. I am also driving all over the town for appointments. I am very reliable and have excellent time management skills. I will keep your dog safe and secure on a leash at all times. I know to go with their pace and I am very patient. I will treat your dog like my own and make him/her feel as comfortable as possible in my care.

Karen S.
“I have had the pleasure of knowing Karen Allain Snyder for over 3 years now. From the very beginning Karen shared with me her love of pets and especially, the love of her life .. her dog Chief. In most photos we share, Chief is front and centre. Whether it be him in his Chiefs jersey watching the NFL games, with his own special snack platter, or enjoying times away together, Karen is rarely without him. I have no doubt that she is a true animal lover. When you see someone treat their furbaby like their own child and intergal part of the family, you can't think any different. I myself am a cat person and Karen loves to ask me for selfies of my cats because it is in her nature to care and know how important they are to me. When Karen was considering moving, she brought Chief along with her to get 'his opinion'. I have no hesitation in recommending Karen as someone I'd be more than happy with to care for my pets and anyone else’s. I sincerely hope that you consider her, not only because she loves animals, but also because she is a geniunely loving and patient person who would give not only animals, but people too, the very best of herself.”

Josh C.
“Josh is one of my very good friends. We lived together for about 2 years and he was very good with my three cats. They felt very comfortable with him and I loved watching them cuddle, this definitely made me comfortable enough to have him watch them for me a few times when I left for a few days. I knew they’d be taken care of and given the attention they need. I would 100% recommend him to watch your pets!”

About: Have had dogs & cats my entire life. Although it’s heartbreaking when we lose a family pet, what they add to our lives is immeasurable I’m a single, retired, mature woman… have an extremely flexible schedule. Taking care of your fur baby(s) is almost always possible! I take these responsibilities very seriously. I’m punctual and very caring. I’m detailed with your instructions, especially medications. They will be followed to a tee. Reliability is paramount. Communication is key!

Alicia & Richard H.

“Van and Alica are great! Friendly, responsive and caring. It's off to a great start!”

Cinthia C.
“Cinthia is amazing with my Shih Tzu, Charlie. She anticipates his needs, respects his boundaries, and lets him do things at his own pace. Cinthia has taken care of Charlie on multiple occasions and always provides updates on how he is doing throughout the day. I never have to worry about leaving him because I know that Cinthia will treat him as if he were her own.”

Ashley F.
“My dogs love Ashley! We trust her to take excellent care of them- we’ve already rebooked her. She is a wonderful pet sitter and we highly recommend her.”

About: I have over 7 years of pet care in a professional setting. I worked at a pet boarding facility that offered daycare, as well as an animal hospital where I was a veterinary assistant (took samples, vitals, and assisted in surgery/sedation etc) as well as kennel manager. I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments (3-150lb; newborn-18yo). I have also taken care of dogs and cats with various medical conditions (from special diets, allergies, to diabetes) so I can administer meds whether pill, topical, or injectable. My schedule is pretty flexible. I work from home so I‘m available most hours of the day. I travel between calabash, Raleigh, and pinehurst, and can accept same day bookings (traveling isn’t an issue, just give me time lol). I do have my own dogs so if housesitting, I will have to go care for them a couple of times throughout the day. My services include: -drop in visits -walks -house sitting (can do daytime only or overnights, just let me know what you prefer) -boarding at my house (currently not accepting new clients) -daycare in my home (currently not accepting new clients) *FOR DROP INS AND WALKS* My available hours is listed above, however during those days there is no limit on the number of drop ins- if you want one of the visits in the middle of the night I can do that too. If you prefer me to stay in your home all day, this will be booked as house sitting. ** FOR DAYCARE AND BOARDING IN MY HOME:** For liability reasons, I don’t offer group play with other pet families. Your pet may be friendly, however I don’t want to take a chance and risk the safety of anyone’s pet. They’ll get plenty of playtime with me (and each other if you have additional pets). In warmer weather I will have a baby/pet pool set up for them. I’m pretty flexible and accommodating, especially when it comes to your pet’s comfort. I want to make the transition as easy on them as possible, so we can discuss your preferred sleeping arrangements. I offer standard crates, free roam/sleep out of the crate (bed, couch, etc), and a suite/pup room with webcam access ***CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE*** I have 2 dogs in my home- they will be separated from yours at all times by baby gates, or mine will be crated and/or in another bedroom

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the immediate love your pet will feel. I have trained and sat multiple clients dogs. All get super excited to know I’m coming! I have around 45 clients I sit, drop in and walk for! I send pictures and videos to clients who request to do so. I have even FaceTimed the client per request. I currently am Available all week, I do college from home at the moment so I can be scheduled at anytime and do my school work around the walking or sitting. I have a half fenced in yard with two pups who are extremely friendly to play along with. In a clients home I make sure to follow step by step instructions and routine to make sure the clients pet(s) are as comfortable and in their same routine!

Courtney D.

“Where do I even begin? Courtney was absolutely the most wonderful blessing for us. I moved to South Carolina for a clinical rotation not knowing a single soul and desperately needed someone to help me with my girls while I would be working longer days in the clinic. For almost 3 months Courtney cared for my girls like they were her own and I am so incredibly grateful for her. We will miss her so much as we head back to Colorado. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Courtney! Ellie, Zoe, and myself love her!”

Denise S.

“We had an excellent experience with Denise. She was able to help us out with just a couple of days' notice since we were in a jam. Our dog enjoyed her, she was professional, fun, and trustworthy. Will call again.”

Lee J.

“Lee is awesome!! I had an emergency and was in a pinch and Lee was an absolute lifesaver! She was so sweet to Peppeemint and sent a detailed report of their adventure! Could not thank and recommend Lee enough!”

Cristy S.
“Christy is an excellent, reliable and trustworthy pet sitter. She’s our “go to” sitter when we go on vacation! When we are on vacation I rest easily knowing our pets, are in capable, caring hands.”
