About: I have over 30 years experience taking care of dogs and will provide the love and care they need in their new "home away from home". I have a whole house generator so in case of storms, there will be no interruption in service. I am a very active individual and typically walk at least 3-5 miles per day with my little toy fox terrier. I am a nature lover and frequent the area's hiking trails and love to get out on the beach. I prepare my dog's meals using all natural ingredients (whole foods) and make a very healthy bone broth and organic barley. With parental permission I can use this as topper for your dog's kibble. I am a retired school teacher and am available year round. I am basically home all the time when I am not out on the nature trails. I would prefer sitting for dogs that weigh 30 pounds or less. Your fur baby will receive the love and attention it deserves from Caring Karen. I am a retired school teacher and when I am not out on the nature trails walking dogs, I am at home cooking or gardening. Your dog will receive lots of love and attention from Caring Karen. I have a fenced-in side yard and a gated back deck. My house is set back on a wooded lot with lots of shade. I live in a very quiet and safe neighborhood on a private road that is a dead-end. About: I am a registered nurse currently staying at home with my two children. I am a huge dog lover and am looking to make some extra income while staying home with my babies. I grew up in a household that always had dogs as part of the family and have a lot of experience taking care of dogs. My family bred our labs and our golden retrievers so I have experience with puppies as well. I also have some experience with reptiles, as I have a bearded dragon of my own. About: Animals have always been the biggest part of my life. I’ve owned and cared for pets for years, and I truly understand how much trust it takes to leave your animals with someone else. I’ve also pet sat for animals on and off, for over a decade. I've cared for dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels, from playful pups to sensitive or senior pets who need a little extra patience. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medication needs, litter care, playtime, and any house specific routines. I’m respectful of each home and make sure pets have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of calm attention. I’m very mindful of safety, including secure doors, leashes, gates, and each pet’s comfort level with new people, other animals, and outdoor environments. I pay attention to body language and never force interaction. My goal is for pets to feel safe, cared for, and relaxed while their person is away.
About: I have owned and operated horse boarding in the past and i have a certificate to be a vet assistant. I am very in tune with animals needs. About: I have been around different breeds/mixed dogs and cats for most of my life. I always have enjoyed their unconditional love and companionship. I had the experience of assisting in the birth of our Chihuahua giving birth to 6 pups. At one point we had 5 dogs and a cat from breeds from a Italian Cane Corso to Chihuahua's. They have given me so much love and affection over the years. Not to mention caring for them in the end which is the most difficult. I'm currently retired and having recently relocated to the area. I would be a great fit to care for your pet while you are at work or away on vacation. My schedule is flexible and ready to be a pet giver to your fur baby. I will give them the upmost attention for all of their needs.
About: I have been taking care of my own 2 cats since I got them 7 years ago. I have been the main person responsible for grooming, feeding, cleaning out the litter box, etc. I also began volunteering at my local animal shelter 4 years ago. I learned a lot about training/walking dogs in addition to playing/socializing with the cats. I am very comfortable around pets from any background due to my time at the animal shelter. In addition I have taken care of friends and family’s pets when they have been out of town many times and made sure they were fed, clean, okay, etc. I have a lot of experience with both cats and dogs of many different backgrounds and feel confident in my ability to help care for your pets. They normally get eggs in the morning and she had no problem cooking these for them so they could keep to their routine. She also noted Henry scratching and realized his seasonal dry ear problem was acting up. She took care of the ears, which is not easy with Henry, who can be very grumpy when he is being doctored.
