About: I have over 30 years experience taking care of dogs and will provide the love and care they need in their new "home away from home". I have a whole house generator so in case of storms, there will be no interruption in service. I am a very active individual and typically walk at least 3-5 miles per day with my little toy fox terrier. I am a nature lover and frequent the area's hiking trails and love to get out on the beach. I prepare my dog's meals using all natural ingredients (whole foods) and make a very healthy bone broth and organic barley. With parental permission I can use this as topper for your dog's kibble. I am a retired school teacher and am available year round. I am basically home all the time when I am not out on the nature trails. I would prefer sitting for dogs that weigh 30 pounds or less. Your fur baby will receive the love and attention it deserves from Caring Karen. I am a retired school teacher and when I am not out on the nature trails walking dogs, I am at home cooking or gardening. Your dog will receive lots of love and attention from Caring Karen. About: I have been a Yorkie, schnauzer or spaniel owner for years and just love the little furry family members. Currently Maggie May (my sweet rescue) and I love the opportunity to walk, keep and cuddle your "family member". I even make dog biscuits for the cutie pies if their owners give the okay. The safety and happiness of your dog is my primary concern. They will get a lot of love and the best possible care. Bottom line, I am an animal lover! My biggest fear was a dog sitter would not recognize if my dog got sick while I was away. My vet does not believe in kennels and we have followed his advice. I got so good that people even began to ask me to help train their new puppies. About: I have over 30 years experience taking care of dogs and will provide the love and care they need in their new "home away from home". I have a whole house generator so in case of storms, there will be no interruption in service. I am a very active individual and typically walk at least 3-5 miles per day with my little toy fox terrier. I am a nature lover and frequent the area's hiking trails and love to get out on the beach. I prepare my dog's meals using all natural ingredients (whole foods) and make a very healthy bone broth and organic barley. With parental permission I can use this as topper for your dog's kibble. I am a retired school teacher and am available year round. I am basically home all the time when I am not out on the nature trails. I would prefer sitting for dogs that weigh 30 pounds or less. Your fur baby will receive the love and attention it deserves from Caring Karen. He is recovering from a broken hip and it has been difficult for him to walk his dog properly. We found Van and Alicia and couldn't have been happier. About: I have been around different breeds/mixed dogs and cats for most of my life. I always have enjoyed their unconditional love and companionship. I had the experience of assisting in the birth of our Chihuahua giving birth to 6 pups. At one point we had 5 dogs and a cat from breeds from a Italian Cane Corso to Chihuahua's. They have given me so much love and affection over the years. Not to mention caring for them in the end which is the most difficult. I'm currently retired and having recently relocated to the area. I was comforted before even leaving my pup with her, as she had a list of questions we ran through, and the meet-and-greet with she and her dog Tony - who's a very sweet, playful pooch - went just as smoothly as I'd hoped. She takes the dogs on a good, long hike every day and has a beautiful yard and home for the pups to relax and play within afterwards. I received plenty of photo updates throughout the stay, which is always appreciated. Peace of mind can be hard to come by when leaving your dog in someone else's care, but with Ilana I was fully at ease.
