“She responded to my panicked message after about being in the ER with no one to check on my dog. She had already been by earlier to walk and feed him. This blessed angel came over after 10PM to sit with my pup while I was in the ER. A million gold stars! I owe her so much!”

About: With a lifetime of caring for dogs, from tiny to extra large, I treat every pup like my own baby. My I have lots of experience with administering medications, gentle senior care, understanding the attention a blind pup needs, and managing other extra needs. Your furry family will receive devoted, personalized attention. My flexible, work-from-home schedule allows me to seamlessly integrate pet care into my daily and weekly routine. This means consistent presence, frequent potty breaks, and ample playtime, ensuring your furry family receives devoted attention throughout the day. When caring for pets in your home, my priority is ensuring their comfort and well-being within their familiar surroundings. I adhere strictly to established routines, including crating as instructed and maintaining regular walking schedules. I am skilled in administering medications precisely as prescribed. Beyond routine, I engage actively with your pets through play and enrichment, ensuring they feel comfortable and happy. My goal is to minimize stress and maintain their well-being while you're away.

“Alicia did an amazing job taking care of my cats, including 2 ferals. I was worried about the winter storm hitting just after I left. Alicia was calm and reassured me that everyrhing would be fine and she'd be able to make it in. She made it twice a day, right on schedule. She fed, watered, cleaned litter and dishes and played with the house cats. Awesome job Alicia! Thank you so much for taking such good care of my family.”

About: I have had multiple experiences dog and cat sitting over the last 5 years. Both with younger and older pets. I have done check-ins and overnight stays to ensure the wellbeing of the animal/pet being looked after. I also have lived with 2 young dogs for the last few months, and before that with older dogs as well. I currently work on a farm so from 6:30am-8am in the morning and then 5pm-8pm in the evenings. Other than that my schedule is very open. Additionally there is flexibility in those hours if needed. I treat animals with respect and care. Showing them love in the same way their owners would. I take my time making sure their needs are looked after in each visit, along with spending time with them as needed as well.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was old enough to drive. I grew up with a house full of animals and have rescued several animals. I work evenings (two days from home, two days on-site in Akron) and have flexible days to allow for daytime walks or drop-ins and overnight stays. I do my best to communicate with the client to form a plan to best suit every pet and ensure the situation is as low-stress and high-fun for all involved!

About: I've been professionally training dogs for almost 5 years and own Classic Canine Training LLC; after I worked for reputable training companies I decided to open my own. I personally network all over the US and even in Europe with other trainers. I have 10 acres of free open land with a pond to take dogs on walks (great for reactive dogs and mental stimulation). I have two Belgian malinois who I strive for their needs to be met daily. From mental stimulation to physical stimulation while giving them a “job”. My youngest is 2 years old and does many sports (PSA, dock diving, and fast cat), and my oldest is 9, he’s a retired military explosives K9 who served on the boarder of Jordan up until 7 years old. Both the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. All of my dogs have off leash obedience training that is kept up with. I have a background in dog training, boarding, and daycare; from puppies all the way to seniors. I strive for knowledge with dogs as there’s always new information evolving everyday of how we can create the best relationship with our furry companions. I’m very passionate about dogs, teaching others about dogs from genetics and breeds to how they think. My business hours run from 6am-8pm, however I’m home each day. If I have a 1 on 1 client, a drop in visit, or a client for dog walking, I’m away from the house for an hour. I stagger my schedule so I can check up on the dogs frequently. I have an open floor plan in the house, this works great for senior dogs, or even fast energetic dogs. There's 10 acres of cleared land, a pond with a dock. Since the land isn't fenced in, all dogs must be leashed with a properly fitted collar when going outside, a harness, or a slip lead. I plan on putting a fenced in area with a new patio within the next few months. However, a good peaceful walk with all the smells is always more for the dogs than a fenced in area with limited access. Reactive dogs and fearful dogs are welcome as I have years of experience with them, and training them to grow confidence and obedience. I also have experience with special need's animals. Loud dogs are welcome too, dogs can bark and howl, doesn't bother me, I don’t have a noise ordinance either. If your dog(s) show healthy body language and do well with other dogs, my two malinois are gentle beings and always love a play mate. Minka especially, she goes at the other dog's pace and reads their body language. I do ask that you leave your vet information with me and emergency vet information as well for an emergency contact if ever need be. I also do ask for a second choice of contact incase the primary owner is unable to be reached. All dogs must be up to date on vaccines and bordetella for boarding and daycare.

She has sat for us on many occasions while we were in vacation which includes staying at the house overnight to keep the household and kitty routines going smoothly.
