“Jennifer was fantastic! She went above and beyond what was expected! The photos she sent allowed me to see the kitties were well and taken care of. Would absolutely use her again!! ❤️”

“Lexi is kind, caring, and friendly toward our cats. Lexi is on time and follows our cats feeding schedule. Lexi follows her agency policy and sends us pictures and updates on their each time she visits. Lexi ensures are cats are feed and played with. These are cats who do not warm up to strangers and will not interact with strangers. But Lexi had the cats wanting belly rubs. Lexi has become our go to cat sitter/watcher. I will definitely use her again and again. I recommend using Lexi’s service if you want a reliable, kind and friendly cat sitter. Who can change our cat into a friendly, fun loving and belly rubbing loving cat. Our cats will miss her and so will we. Thanks Lexi !!! Carol Kaser”

About: I have been around dogs throughout my entire life and I love dogs very much! I know how to care, feed, play, clean and love dogs the proper way! I will make sure that I treat your dog with as much love and care as you treat them and with as much love and care as I treat my own dog! I am a teacher during the day, so I will be available to walk, play, or visit your dog any day starting at 5pm. If you need me to house sit for you and your dog, I can happily do that on the weekends at any time! I am an animal lover through and through and I hope I will be able to care for your dog, or dogs, soon!
“Alicia was wonderful. She was super prompt and did a great job checking in on our two cats. One of our cats is diabetic and needs insulin. I felt super comfortable knowing that Alicia was looking after them! Also loved the pictures she would send for each visit!”

About: I have helped take care of friends' and neighbors' dogs/ pets for several years. I am very responsible and dependable. My husband and I have previously fostered dogs as well. I am currently working full time but have some time on the weekends to love on pets! My (human) girls would also love to help your fur babies play until they're worn out! We have a large yard that would provide plenty of room to run around. We do not have a fence so we would not be able to safely care for a dog that would take off.
“I booked with Finessa to drop in and give food and water to my dogs, and exceeded my expectations and sent pictures while I was away. Will definitely book with her again !”

About: I grew up with police dogs, so I'm really good with high-energy breeds and understanding dog behavior. I use positive training methods for puppies and give patient care to senior dogs. Apart from working a full time job as a healthcare professional, I have hours of spare time that I would love to dedicate to some furry friends! It is so important pets are in an environment where they are safe and stress free. I always make sure they're fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise, and have a safe, clean space. Plus, lots of love and attention are super important for their well-being!
About: I have had multiple experiences dog and cat sitting over the last 5 years. Both with younger and older pets. I have done check-ins and overnight stays to ensure the wellbeing of the animal/pet being looked after. I also have lived with 2 young dogs for the last few months, and before that with older dogs as well. I currently work on a farm so from 6:30am-8am in the morning and then 5pm-8pm in the evenings. Other than that my schedule is very open. Additionally there is flexibility in those hours if needed. I treat animals with respect and care. Showing them love in the same way their owners would. I take my time making sure their needs are looked after in each visit, along with spending time with them as needed as well.
“Nancy was amazing, kept in good communication with us about what was going on each visit. Our animals absolutely loved her and she even helped with our garden. we would recommend Nancy to anyone without a doubt 10/10 !”

About: I grew up with cats and dogs and have had my own animals for 20 years now. I have 3 cats with different personalities and 1 senior dog that needs special care. I would love to be able to help take care of your babies while you are away and make sure they have the basic needs and a little extra lovins! I primarily work from home with a flexible schedule so I have time during lunch and after work as needed. I also am pretty much a homebody so I don't have too busy of weekends. At this time I am looking to come to your house and care for your animals as you need. I can clean kitty litter/poop, feed, walk as needed and provide some loving time.
“Bethany did a great job taking care of our cats while we were on vacation. She was very dependable showing up twice daily, on time as scheduled. She was communicative and very personable. We had great peace of mind knowing she was taking care of our pets. She clearly loves animals and taking care of other people's pets. We highly recommend her.”

“Eleanor has been AWESOME! We feel so blessed that she is looking after our furry babies when we are away from home. She takes really good care of them and she gives us real peace of mind while we are gone knowing they are being well cared for.”

About: I have years experience caring for animals, more specifically dogs. I’ve worked in numerous boarding facilities/shelters over the last couple years. I am a reliable candidate to get the job down as my love for animals never fails! My schedule is always flexible and open! I currently run my own small dog sitting/walking business so I am always looking to add more clients and further my experiences! I would love nothing more than to help with your fur babies:) I treat every animal as if it were my own! I will not be able to offer services in my personal home but no matter the circumstances, I want to ensure every pet gets the proper care they need!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10, now I’m 24. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I have 4 cats and 1 dog. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
