About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was old enough to drive. I grew up with a house full of animals and have rescued several animals. I work evenings (two days from home, two days on-site in Akron) and have flexible days to allow for daytime walks or drop-ins and overnight stays. About: I have taken care of fur babies since as long as I can remember! I’m currently a dog momma to a rescue named Louie, but before that I have helped care for multiple dogs and cats in my lifetime. I come from a family of animal lovers-they currently have a tortoise and a dog as well! I have house sat/walked for numerous families in my hometown, and I am looking to care for animals while in graduate school! I am a current student within the Duke school of medicine and I have a pretty flexible schedule with my afternoons free almost daily. Outside of classes, my research is on my own schedule which allows me to take care of furry friends! I am also the owner of a very sweet, very loving dog named Louie! *If you are booking house sitting* IMPORTANT TO KNOW: Since I am also a dog owner, if house sitting is a service that is being booked-you must understand that I will be bringing my dog Louie with me to house sit as well. We are a package deal! Louie is the sweetest dog you will meet and gets along great with every dog or cat he has met. If your animal may not get along well with him, or you would not want my dog in your home then please do not book a house sitting service with me! I also groom and bathe my own dogs, and while full grooming isn’t typically part of my services, I’m absolutely willing to help if an urgent situation arises. I expect to communicate frequently during your pet's visit with me. In my home: For daycare or boarding, I require that dogs are crate trained, since dogs will be crated overnight and anytime I’m not home. I also require up-to-date vaccine records to keep everyone safe. I have two dogs of my own, so I carefully monitor introductions and compatibility. We do have a yard, but it is not fenced, so all outdoor time is supervised and on-leash. In your home: During our meet & greet, we’ll go over your pet’s routine in detail (feeding, potty breaks, walks, medication, etc.). I ask that any important care instructions are also listed in your pet’s Rover profile in writing, so everything is clear and consistent. I’m happy to follow your household routines as close as possible during the visit.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
