Pet Sitting Navarre

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was old enough to drive. I grew up with a house full of animals and have rescued several animals. I work evenings (two days from home, two days on-site in Akron) and have flexible days to allow for daytime walks or drop-ins and overnight stays. I do my best to communicate with the client to form a plan to best suit every pet and ensure the situation is as low-stress and high-fun for all involved!

About: I’m a dedicated dog owner in the canton area who understands how important it is to find someone trustworthy to look after your pets. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and cats as well. I’m happy to provide photos and updates throughout my time caring for your pets. I am available for dog walking on weekdays during the late afternoon and evening and am also available on the weekends. I am available any time on weekends I am available to walk dogs, do drop-ins to check on your pets, feed them, and let them out to the bathroom and I’m also available for house-sitting.

About: It seems as if I've always had a cat or dog or both since I was in grade school. At this time I have many kitties and one dog. Some of my kitties are foster kitties. Some I can pet and others I enjoy from a distance. I have 1 dog named Frannie. She is possibly a Rottweiler shepherd mix. In the past I grew up with a standard poodle. I have had a shepherd mix, another Rottweiler mix and a pit mix. I have seen all my dogs and cats thru to the rainbow bridge. I have fostered a litter of labrador puppies. That was fun! I currently help my mom with her pug mix named Chloe. I am currently working part time at a pre-school. I have Mondays, weekends, holidays and the summers off. I work until noon Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays until 3pm I would need to make sure your pets are cared for before I go to work @7:15am. I have a neighbor who helps me let my dog out while I'm at work, so I would be free after work to check on your animal(s). I would then need to come back to my house and take care of my animals and then go back to check on yours. I could do that as often as needed and then longer thru the night. I anticipate every situation to be different so depending on the need. I would be able to keep kitties in my spare bedroom. I have a large screen door to put in front of the bedroom door to keep them separate from my animals if needed. I am flexible to what the needs may be

“We had such a great experience with Chris! They took incredible care of our dog, Myles, over the weekend and treated him like their own. Myles needs medication twice a day, and Chris made sure it was given consistently and without any problems. We loved receiving regular updates and pictures, and it meant so much to know he was happy, eating well, and staying on his routine. Chris gave him so much love and attention, and we truly felt at peace while we were away. Highly recommend!!!”

I am available before of after work hours and on the weekends for your pet care needs. If you work early or late hours I am available to provide services to you to give you pet the care they need! I have 3 cats and 1 dog of my own who are all extremely friendly. I have a yard where your pet can play under my supervision. Plenty of bathroom breaks (on a leash) will be given as well as meal times. I value giving lots of attention to your pets to ensure they are happy while in my home.

BOARDING REQUIREMENTS Before booking, I ask that all dogs be up-to-date on their vaccines and current on flea and tick prevention. Please make sure your dog’s Rover profile is fully completed so I can provide the best care possible. For everyone’s safety, I only accept dogs that are friendly and do well around other dogs. If your dog is selective, reactive, or has shown aggression toward other animals, my home may not be the best fit. For your dog’s stay, please bring their food, vaccination records, and any medications they may need along with clear instructions. If your dog requires a crate for sleeping or when left alone, please bring one, as I do not currently provide crates. You’re welcome to bring a favorite bed or blanket to help your dog feel more at home, although I have plenty of beds and blankets available. You do not need to bring bowls unless your dog uses a slow feeder or a special bowl. I recommend leaving favorite toys or valuable items at home. Dogs love to play, and toys can sometimes get worn out or misplaced. Don’t worry though—I have plenty of toys and enrichment activities to keep everyone entertained! My goal is to make your dog’s stay as safe, comfortable, and fun as possible while giving you peace of mind when you’re away. I work from home, which allows me to provide flexible scheduling, frequent potty breaks, regular supervision, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I am home most of the time, pets receive companionship, exercise, and care tailored to their individual needs and routines. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every animal as if they were my own and take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and any special needs. I provide a calm, loving environment with plenty of supervision, enrichment, exercise, and affection while maintaining the safety standards and instructions provided by each owner. If your pet has temperamental issues I’m happy to crate and rotate so they have individual time and I also have a building for boarding.

I am a full-time, in-home caregiver for the elderly in our community and I am looking for some additional part-time work to save up for a vacation I have planned in September. I am ready for the fun, and not so fun chores :) I am available during the week after 12pm. Weekend availability varies. I have some availability after 3pm on certain weekends and not available at all for others. I am able to care for your pet(s) at the clients home, but cannot offer care in my home.
