About: I am a lover of all animals, dogs especially. For as far back as I can remember I have had a dog in my life. They have come in all sizes and energy levels, including golden retrievers, Chihuahua, blue heelers, and pit bulls. I also have experience caring for cats and snakes but feel generally comfortable caring for any kind of animal. As far as professional experience, I worked as an assistant in a vet clinic during high school. I am currently a gig worker on other platforms, so I am able to have a pretty open schedule. Your baby would be able to have as much attention as needed I have no criminal record and can pass a background check if needed to be able to care for your pet at your home. If your baby needed to stay with me at my house please be aware that I have a standard poodle (very friendly and good with cats or dogs) that they would need to be ok with.
“Rebecca was great with the animals as usual! She even sent pictures to me on how they were doing frdoing. She did a great job and I'll hire her again next time leave town. 🙂”

About: Experienced animal lover here. I am a full-time, in-home caregiver for the elderly in our community and I am looking for some additional part-time work to save up for a vacation I have planned in September. I am ready for the fun, and not so fun chores :) I am available during the week after 12pm. Weekend availability varies. I have some availability after 3pm on certain weekends and not available at all for others. I am able to care for your pet(s) at the clients home, but cannot offer care in my home. Following the clients’ plan and/or instructions is my priority.
“Isis was great with our old and big girl! Our dog has a hard time with our couple of steps and Isis came over to help take her out and in while we were away. She was kind and patient and did what we needed. We are very happy we booked her and will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Cassie and her daughter, Grace, were fabulous sitters for our three Havanese. Having used Rover for over a decade for home stays, this time, we needed a sitter for just a few hours, as we visited the NFL Hall of Fame They both showed up on time and made a fabulous first impression and more importantly, our dogs immediately loved them both. They went beyond typical dog sitters with a warmth and care, I wish every dog sitter had. We felt completely comfortable with their care and I think our dogs were even disappointed when we returned. I wholeheartedly recommend Cassie for pet sitting. She's FABULOUS!!! <3”

“Lillie did a fantastic job caring for my 2 dogs with drop in visits. She was polite, professional, attentive and kept me informed the whole time. I arrived home to two very happy corgis!! I would absolutely recommend her and would book again for future visits. Thanks so much again!”

About: Hi, I’m Aaliyah! You can look me up on Google Aaliyah’s Dobies and check out my reviews😉 Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up raising and showing rabbits and chickens through 4-H and have experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, small mammals, and farm animals. You name it, I either have it or love it. I am a dog breeder and have hands-on experience caring for newborn puppies, senior pets, and animals with special needs. I’ve also interned at veterinary offices, volunteered at animal shelters, and helped rescue, foster, and socialize kittens for adoption. In addition to caring for healthy pets, I have extensive experience with orphaned, injured, and medically fragile animals. My background includes caring for bottle babies, syringe feeding, tube feeding, administering subcutaneous fluids, deworming, parasite treatment, basic wound care, and supporting animals through illness and recovery. I have also worked with feral kittens, helping them learn to trust people and transition into loving homes. I work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of supervision, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, I will tailor their care to their individual needs. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I treat every animal as if they were my own and strive to provide a stress-free experience while you’re away. I understand that every pet is unique, and I am committed to providing compassionate, reliable care that gives owners peace of mind. BOARDING REQUIREMENTS Before booking, I ask that all dogs be up-to-date on their vaccines and current on flea and tick prevention. Please make sure your dog’s Rover profile is fully completed so I can provide the best care possible. For everyone’s safety, I only accept dogs that are friendly and do well around other dogs. If your dog is selective, reactive, or has shown aggression toward other animals, my home may not be the best fit. For your dog’s stay, please bring their food, vaccination records, and any medications they may need along with clear instructions. If your dog requires a crate for sleeping or when left alone, please bring one, as I do not currently provide crates. You’re welcome to bring a favorite bed or blanket to help your dog feel more at home, although I have plenty of beds and blankets available. You do not need to bring bowls unless your dog uses a slow feeder or a special bowl. I recommend leaving favorite toys or valuable items at home. Dogs love to play, and toys can sometimes get worn out or misplaced. Don’t worry though—I have plenty of toys and enrichment activities to keep everyone entertained! My goal is to make your dog’s stay as safe, comfortable, and fun as possible while giving you peace of mind when you’re away. I work from home, which allows me to provide flexible scheduling, frequent potty breaks, regular supervision, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I treat every animal as if they were my own and take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and any special needs. I provide a calm, loving environment with plenty of supervision, enrichment, exercise, and affection while maintaining the safety standards and instructions provided by each owner. If your pet has temperamental issues I’m happy to crate and rotate so they have individual time and I also have a building for boarding.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
