About: Growing up with German Shepherds and a corgi, I learned patience, training skills, and responsibility. I also had two horses and often volunteered at the local stables caring for others' horses. Since then neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets. I hope to care for yours as well! I am currently working a full-time job, but I can care for pets in the evenings, on weekends, and I can house sit during trips or longer absences. I am unable to bring pets into my current home, but in my car I can transport your pets to necessary appointments or to favored dog parks. Whatever training you have with your pet, I will maintain, whether that means crate training or keeping pets out of certain locations in your home.

About: I grew up with dogs and small animals, and I’ve cared for pets at every stage of life, including comforting a big dog scared of storms and giving medications to cranky senior animals. I have two cats and a 9-yr-old chinchilla with big personalities. I know pets are our family members, and I look forward to caring for yours! Available for drop-ins and walks in the evenings and weekends. I live in River Market and work in midtown, so I can be available for some morning or lunchtime needs in those areas. About: Family and friends come to me first if they need pets taken care of. I'm excellent with cats and dogs and follow instructions well. About: Had animals in my house since I was a child (dogs and cats). I have experience with animals of all ages which include puppies and senior animals. I work from home three times a week which gives me time for quick mid day walks/check-ups. I also could check in on your pet in the afternoon and early morning! About: WHY PICK ROVER: Because you get the assurance of knowing your beloved pet is enjoying their vacation as much as you are. WHY PICK ME: Because I love dogs. I enjoy spending time playing, cuddling, and relaxing. Typical kennels, both at your vet/groomers and the "pet resorts" have multiple pets, and employees that are on a set schedule. Your pet still spend 85% of their time in a kennel/crate/enclosure. While in my care they will be given individual attention. they will have free roam and access to the outdoors as needed and be home to attend to their needs. The safety, health and happiness of my fur friends is my priority. I have had multiple dogs my entire life. I have been hired by friends and family since I was in my teens to watch and care for animals during vacations. I have owned and tended to dogs as small as 10 pounds up to 200 pounds. Security and safety of your pets are of the utmost importance. I am a part time remote worker, so my time really belongs to your fur family. 90%. I may leave for occasional meeting or meal. I will take every effort to stick to your rules and your environment with your pup.. I don't mind dogs want to cuddle at night or that need to be crated. Having lived with both puppies and geriatric dogs, I am more than willing to do late night potty breaks or whatever necessary.

As I get ready to transition off of active duty, I’m looking to spend more time with animals and give local pet owners peace of mind. I know how it feels to worry about your fur babies at home. I have experience with a wide variety of pets. I have raised puppies, timid rescues and cared for elderly dogs with significant medical needs. Cats also hold a sweet place in my heart and I love giving them the attention they deserve. I have experience administering medication and tending to whatever specific needs your pet has to make them most comfortable. I am working remote and mostly available during lunch, late afternoon and early evening for offsite visits. Any guest staying in our home will have my attention and the opportunity for plenty of dog walks. During my visits or an in home stay it is my goal to make the pet experience the least amount of stress possible. If your pet is happy, than you can be happy and enjoy your travels, work or any other life demands. I will take care of your pet as my own and provide the highest standard of care. About: Hi there! I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 16 and working at a doggy daycare/inn. We were in charge of feeding, medicating, exercising, bathing, and running play groups. Since then I’ve become a dog bather where I’ve learned more about proper handling and animal body language. I would love to take care of your baby! Whether that means walking, playing fetch or tug-of-war-ing, getting some cuddles in, or a combination of all of the above, I’m your person! I have a pretty open schedule, I bathe dogs in the mornings Tuesday-Thursday and Saturdays. My afternoons are open, and I can make early mornings work if we need to:). I offer animal sitting in your home, so they can be as comfortable as possible. I’m also very aware of animal body language and think the best way to dog sitting is to meet them where they are and do what makes them happy. If that means we’re playing tug of war for hours, we’re doin it! If it means we sit on opposite sides of the room while your baby slowly decides if they love or hate me, we can do that too!
