About: Just like everyone else on Rover, I love animals! As a recent high school graduate, I plan on pursuing my goal of becoming Veterinarian by attending Texas A&M this fall, as an Animal Science major! Recently, I also graduated from my 2-year CVA( Certified Veterinary Assistant) program, during which I completed courses such as Animal Anatomy & Physiology and Animal handling, etc.. I also became CPR certified and Fear Free certified. I am especially proud of my Fear free certification because it taught me how to reduce the amount of stress and anxiety in animals to provide them with the best and safest experiences. Additionally, I have 235 hours of experience interning as a technician at the TLC Animal Hospital. Last but not least, I have 5 years experience raising and training my dogs Dado(Boxer) and Chuvah (Toy Poodle) with my dad. As a high school graduate I have the ENTIRE summer off. I’m available any the day of the week at any time, just let me know a couple days in advance so I can prepare to rearrange any plans:) Whenever I’m pet sitting, I always try my best to make the owner not only trust me with there beloved pet, but also their home. I try to replicate the trust I’d want to see in a sitter if I had left them with my fur baby and possessions and I live by the golden rule « Treat others how you want to be treated »

“We are glad Christy accepted the task of caring for our two doggies. It was not easy as one of them required constant attention but she was able to do it! Thank you!”

About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life, from 5 week old puppies to senior dogs. I enjoy making sure their needs are met and their hearts are happy! I'm a part time college student with plenty of time in between classes and studies to play with dogs of all shapes and sizes! On Tuesdays and Thursdays I am available from 6am-11am or 2pm-4pm for walks or drop in visits. I will care for your fur baby as if they were my own, communication will be key to ensuring that every visit runs smoothly and everyone is happy! I love making healthy, homemade dog treats, and would love to share my recipes with your fur babies!

About: I’ve cared for my two cats and dog by myself, handling everything from feeding and grooming to exercise and playtime. I genuinely love animals and enjoy staying active with them; whether it’s going for walks, playing fetch, or just keeping them company. I’ve also volunteered at a local animal shelter, gaining hands-on experience with pets of all sizes and temperaments. I’m dependable, patient, and committed to making every pet feel safe and loved. I am currently in summer vacation, so I am available every week, all day, 24/7! A day with me will include a fun activity like going for a run at the park in the morning, going home to eat and rest, playing with toys, then going on a late night walk to end the day. Firstly, I will ask the family of the pet if they have any rules or boundaries that I must follow. If it’s simply walking their dog, I will make sure they are hydrated and that the concrete/ground is not too hot for their paws. I will make sure to not go to areas where there are too many dogs, just to keep them safe and peaceful. Then, if it is dog sitting I will follow all the instructions and rules, and make sure the pet is being well fed and most importantly that they have fun!

About: With over 8 years of hands-on pet care experience, I bring a calm, confident presence that pets instantly trust. I’m quick to pick up on their needs and respond fast in any situation—whether it’s a sudden burst of energy or a quiet moment that needs comfort. Above all, I treat every pet like my own, with endless patience, affection, and attention to detail. Their safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priority. As a full-time online college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to revolve my day around your pet’s needs. Whether it’s a midday check-in, morning feeding, or evening playtime, I can easily adapt to fit your pet’s routine. My remote studies give me the freedom to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day and week. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are always my top priority. I keep a calm, clean environment, follow detailed instructions, and make sure each pet feels secure and loved. I’m attentive to their behavior and quick to respond to any needs, providing a safe space where they can relax, play, and thrive.

“Erika did a great job with Pancho a 150 lb. St Bernard. She gave me lots of daily updates and pics. It eased my worry on my vacation. I will use her again for week long trips , overnight or day time house sitting and dog sitting. I would recommend her to others!”

About: My boyfriend and I recently lost our dog and I am missing the puppy love so much! I figured this would be a way to get more of that love through others. I am a veteran and full time student at NMSU. I have lots of free time to come hangout with your pets daily. I have owned different breeds and temperaments and have house sat for many friends and family members. I have my own personal experience with training puppies and will follow any instructions to a T to help keep your regimen going. I go to school in Las Cruces Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday from 8am-1230pm. Any time after that I will have availability to drop in or hangout with your pets! I try and mix up my time and plan to give dedicated time to play, training, or any other activity special to your pets needs. In between that I’ll just be on my laptop doing homework keeping your pet(s) company :)

About: I've been around animals and insects my entire life! Amazing creatures and friends, love them all. I talk to them rather than make noises. Communication is key! 😆😂 I'm in school right now but being around animals give me the energy I need to complete my daily tasks. Is love in the air or is that a cute animal I see? Both 😆 I listen to instructions you provide me. If I lose you I lose my trust in animals and I can't lose the love of my life 😭
