I am available weekdays and weekends. I live in a smoke free, child free apartment complex with my husband. I can only care for one pet at the time and I do not have any other pets.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends and strangers alike ever since I graduated and moved to DC in 2019! It all started because I had such a deep love for dogs, but was not yet ready to have one of my own. Nowadays, I share an adorable little mutt with my boyfriend, and we split the care for her fairly evenly. Because of this, if you’re interested in boarding your pet, they need to be friendly with other dogs; ours absolutely LOVES them. Otherwise, I am happy to pet sit at your residence. Additionally, I have experience with elderly dog care and will cater to whatever their needs are. I’m a full-time corporate girlie with a flexible, hybrid work schedule. I’m normally in the office 2-3 days/week, but can work from home the entire duration of your pet’s stay, if that is desired. I’m happy to work with you to create the exact level of care and attention you desire for your doggo. Your pet would have free rein of the house while we’re home and would be kept in a separate room/ crate than our dog when we’re away. We do have a yard, although it’s not fenced in, so we let our dog run around on a 50 ft leash in the backyard; we could do the same for your dog!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was in grade school and have always been a trustworthy caregiver to all animals. I have also had my own dog for the past 9 years who is my whole world! I am currently available on weekdays from 5pm until 10pm, and at most times during the weekends. I am very flexible with dates and times. I am able to feed, give medications, walk and play with your dog inside or outside of your home. I will always put the safety of your pet first and this is always a priority of mine. Currently, my "real" job is a Nurse Practitioner which allows me to care for your dogs in the evening and on the weekends.

“Tushar and his wife were very responsible, flexible and reliable. They really took a good care of Snape. We were totally dependent on them as it was a new place for us and Snape too. Although it was holidays, but they accepted the request when it was a last minute thing. Most importantly they made sure we enjoy D.C. and comforted Snape every way possible with Winston and their cat. I would highly recommend them to other pet owners. And lastly a big THANK YOU ❤️🐾”

About: My name is Sumedh T. I have been an animal lover since I was a kid, taking care of my friends’ dogs often. I enjoy spending time with dogs- taking them out for walks, playing games, teaching them new tricks and commands, and understanding their different personalities and behaviors. I volunteered at a dog shelter where I fed, cleaned, and cared for various breeds of dogs. I’m very excited that my wife and I are planning to adopt a rescue in the next year, our neighborhood is very walkable and pet friendly. Professionally, I am a software engineer and in my free time I love playing video games, cooking, traveling, dog-walking/sitting, and I’ve recently taken up biking. I work from home, so I have the flexibility to monitor and attend to the needs of the dogs I’ve boarded throughout the day. I am able to take breaks for dog walks in the morning and the evening. While boarding I’m able to constantly able to watch the pet. Outside of the home I am always on the lookout for any type of sign from the pet and am able to react quickly.
