About: Hi all! My name is Veronica. I'm an Amherst College alumna ('17) and current 4th year med student (Dartmouth, Geisel School of Medicine '26). I spent my childhood in rural NY, TN, and VA with my grandparents and our dogs, cats, and parrot. In my household, animals were viewed as family, and were always treated as such. I've been taking care of/loving cats & dogs of all sizes (we have owned a daschund named Mr. Wiggles, an Irish Wolfhound named Hobbs, a collie named Blue, to name a few) and ages (puppies to salt&pepper seniors) since I was 5. My partner and I are also proud cat parents to two bonded, adopted cats (Gaston & Basil). I have cared for several friends', neighbors', and strangers turned clients' cats and dogs while they were away/traveling! I hope to bring the same love, respect, and care to your pet that I show my own when you are not there. No pet is too small, too big, too silly, or too drooly for me! I will be based in New Haven, CT working on my residency application, research, and other personal projects with much free time in the upcoming year (2025-26). I am happy to house-sit your pet in your own home, be a dog-walker, or drop-in to feed/walk/play with your pet. For dog-walking & drop-in services, I would prefer if clients are within a 10-15 minute drive from New Haven, CT, though I will consider each request individually. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate dogs or cats in my own apartment.

“Hands down best sitter I've had in 16+ years as a pet parent, very thorough reports, and even got one of my two "stranger danger" fur balls to open up and become friendly to someone who isn't me!”

“Natalie was amazing with my cat! My cat could seem hard to understand because she needs to come to you on her own terms. Natalie was so patient and caring that my cat trusts her completely! My cat loves her and adores spending time with her. I will book Natalie any time!”

Animals are so special to people and I will always drop everything to care for them. I'm completely free for the summer before I attend my first year of college in the fall. When I have classes, I plan to schedule pet care visits in my free time and days off as well. I'm a very communicative and responsible person who can easily adapt to the needs of my clients and their pets. My main priority is the comfort of the animals and I will do whatever it takes to ensure that and their happiness.

“Gianna was great with our furbaby! She made us feel comfortable with her handling all our needs exactly as we told her and even went above and beyond by teaching our brand new pup how to “paw”! We will definitely use her again whenever possible!”

Anne B.
“We feel beyond lucky to have found Annie. From the very first walk, it was clear how much they genuinely love and connect with our dog, Dunder. They don’t just walk him, they treat them like family. Dunder lights up the moment they hear Annie at the door, tail wagging and all. It’s obvious they’ve built a real bond. Annie always goes above and beyond, sending thoughtful updates, photos, and little stories from their walks that show just how well they know and care for our dog. Whether it’s making sure he gets extra sniffs on favorite routes or cuddling on rainy days, we know he’s is in the very best hands. We trust them completely and are so grateful for the love, attention, and consistency they bring into our dog’s life. Truly a gem!”

“You would be hard-pressed to find someone who has as much love in their heart for animals and pets than Melanie. Regardless of age, every dog and cat that crosses Melanie’s path is her baby, and they’re certainly spoiled as if they were! Melanie is attentive and communicative with pets, both her own and those she comes across. Melanie’s responsibility knows no bounds, and pet owners can rest assured that every open door is quickly closed, unsafe foods and other substances are kept out of reach, and a safe, loving, and physically and mentally stimulating environment is created for pets everywhere she goes.”

Gabriel M.
“I couldn’t recommend Gabriel more! He is reliable, dedicated, and so eager to care for animals. I’ve known him for 25+ years and would trust him with all my pets. I currently have two large breed dogs, it can take some time to gain their trust, yet Gabriel had them on his lap after 5 minutes of meeting them. He is one of their favorite people now. My female dog, Maisey, is totally obsessed with him. It’s clear that he not only loves animals, but can truly understand them and their needs. He is the person you want to care for your pets!!”
