About: I grew up having dogs around and they are my favorite animal! My family has been fortunate to adopt 3 dogs, so far, in my life: a Black Lab-Dachshund, a Bassett Hound, and an Australian Cattle Dog; all very different dogs! I also have the experience of watching family & friends animals over the years! Having been around so many different types of dogs has taught me how many different behaviors and reactions they have depending on the environment or people it is/has been surrounded by. At the end of last year I got married and moved to Fond du Lac and have been looking at some part time work. I am very flexible with scheduling right now! I will ensure your pets comfort, safety, and well-being by learning their daily schedules and rules by their owners. I understand that comfort, safety, and trust comes in three parts, the owner, the pet, and myself; and will respect all parties.
“This was Carissa’s first stay with Eddy and it went so well! Eddy, who is hesitant at first, loved Carissa immediately. She checked in with us periodically to make sure we were comfortable with how things were going. She even left us a sweet note and some cute pictures. We will feel so confident using Carissa again and highly recommend her!”

“She was very attentive and concerned for our dogs She provided daily updates with photos so we knew they were being well cared for She took care of our home probably better than we do! Highly recommended”

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats all my life, and have been pet sitting for others pets since I was around 10. Wether it was letting the neighbor dog outside, feeding their pet lizard, scooping the litter boxes, etc. I play travel softball, and I will have 3 tournaments left this summer. My practices are 5-7 on Wednesdays. I work on weekdays from 12-5, and occasionally 8-5. I have a fenced in yard, with a yellow lab to keep your pup company! He is 11 years old-but still has the energy of a 2 year old. I have a 6 year old cat, but she usually stays away from other dogs. I love animals, and always treat them with kindness and respect. I would love to care for any type of animal!

“Emalia was so communicative the whole time. She consistently checked in and sent photos so I was never worried about him. She seems to care so much and I’m so grateful she was able to take such great care of my pup!”

“Sarah was phenomenal! All 3 dogs warmed right up to her immediately, and she did a perfect job with all the detailed instructions we left her; including giving time-sensitive anti-seizure medications.”

“Isaiah was reliable and gave our dog everything he needed. Isaiah was also very willing to learn how to give our cancer kitty her subcutaneous fluids which I appreciate because it’s something that others can be very nervous about doing. Thanks, Isaiah!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have had several pets of my own. I’ve cared for dogs with a variety of needs from separation anxiety to administering medicine. I am attentive to their needs and will do everything I can do create a safe space for them. I’m currently working full-time, however, I come home on lunch breaks. The longest amount of time your pet would be alone is 4 hours. I am off Sunday and Monday and would available all day to give them plenty of attention. I often take walks, sometimes multiple times a day, so your pet would get plenty of time outside! I don’t have a fenced in yard, but I always make sure pets are leashed. I can also crate your pet if that is requested. I always make sure to maintain a tidy space and eliminate potential risks such as ensuring trash cans are hidden or household items are put away so they are not chewed on or ingested.
About: I have taken care of animals since I was 8 years old. It has always been a passion of mine. I would always walk the neighbors dog’s and my family always relied on me to take care of their animals . I absolutely love animals. I am a volunteer at the local Rescue Group. I am flexible and available to customize to your dogs needs. I offer long walks, feedings, and lots of love and company. My dogs Hudson and Sadie are my pride and joy. I spend a lot of time outside with them and inside enrichment toys and puzzles. Sadie is a Blue Heeler and she needs lots of mental stimulation. I also have a kitten named Oreo who thinks he is a dog. I work from home so I am home 90% of the time. Please feel free to message me and we can talk about your dogs needs. I can send you pictures throughout the stay if you would like as well. I am home 80% of the time. It is something I am passionate about and love. I have a fully fenced in backyard. I have two of my own dogs to keep your animals active and playing. I do prefer the dog to be crated at night for their safety. I have an alarm system as well as outside video surveillance.
“Bryanna took extra care with Jackson. We had lost his buddy on June 1 and this was the first time I had left him for more than a few hours. Jackson was happy and well cared for. I’m so happy with the care Bryanna provides.”

“She was absolutely incredible with our fur babies. Nya our Rottweiler was so good for her and she responded fast when I asked how things were going. I would definitely be booking with Katie again… thank you so much.”

“Emily did a fantastic job of caring for all 3 of my animals, watering the indoor and outdoor plants as well as leaving my home just as clean as she found it. I will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Rachel was amazing. Great communication throughout the whole process. We hesitate leaving our sweet, old boy alone but had no qualms after meeting Rachel. Would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I've had three black labs in my life, who have turned me into a dog obsessed human! When I attend social gatherings, I am usually found hanging out with the dog giving it some loving attention. When I was younger I walked my neighbors' dogs. One of these dogs was deaf and I learned different ways to communicate with him. I am friendly and compassionate and will provide your pet with warmth and snuggles while you are away! I work full time during the week, but evenings and most weekends I'm free to care for dogs. Whether your pup is looking for a quick walk, a mozy around the neighborhood, an active, engaging play session, or an overnighter- I will, with the occasional help of my labrador, Bella along with our dog friend, Frankie, make sure to keep your pup happy and occupied. I have a fenced in yard, a couple of friendly dogs of my own, and can crate your pup with their own crate, so please provide if crating is preferred. I prefer a meet and greet to ensure a good fit for your pup. That would look different depending on the service. Dog walking and House Sitting: I will meet you and your fur friend at your home - this will help establish trust and familiarity for the dog while you are there. At this point we can go over the safest entry into your home, routines for your pup, and any specific care requirements. Doggy Day Care and Boarding: You will meet at my home. Where I will bring my two dogs out to meet you and your pup (everybody leashed) and we can talk and sniff and ensure initial vibes are correct for everybody's safety. When we confirm that the dogs are showing no signs of threat/discomfort, we can move everybody into the gated area of our yard and let your dog off leash. We have lots of smells and space to roam about, so this should be an exciting little adventure for your friend. At this point you can share any specific care instructions and routines important to your dog's happiness.
North Fond du Lac pet parents share their Rover experiences
This is the 1st time I used Rover an Im so lucky I did. Carissa G was our dog sitter for my 2 dogs. Had meet an greet with her she was very professional and personable. We went over all my dogs meds for my dogs our 10 an 12 yrs old. I ask if we could do another meet an greet so I felt ok with all there needs again she was awesome. So I was ready to leave them in her hands. Every day I got pictures of them eating, taken there meds, playing outside an even there walks (an she takes great pictures). I call her once just to chat an see how everything was going an she was right on it. An a side note she even water my outside plants an feed the birds. My house was exactly how I left it I could telldogs were excited to see me but they were so relax an not I'm stressed out.. I can't express enough how grateful I am for Carissa..

Carissa was so sweet and professional. I didn't feel at all uncomfortable leaving her in my home with my pets. I immediately trusted her to take the best care of them and she sure did. She sent me updates a lot which I LOVE and she sent me a ton of pictures which I also absolutely loved!! Even my dog who generally doesn't trust or like other people ended up being her best friend!! Book with her, you won't regret it.
