11. Kate W.
About: I have cared for dogs throughout my life from Poodles to Bernese Mountain Dogs. Cats have also been a big part of my life. I took veterinary classes at Virginia Tech. I have watched neighbors homes and pets for the past 30 years. I currently work from home so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I recently became an empty nester and look forward to having some activity in my home! I have a huge back deck and fenced in side yard. I have one fur baby to keep your dog company. We just had to put our golden, Fisher, to sleep and miss having a second dog in the house. I walk everyday and am happy to take your dog with me.

12. Theresa m.
“Theresa is the oldest of 5 children. She is a stern but loving big sister. Clean your room, get in the shower, brush your teeth, put your plate in the sink. She is also the person who decorates the tree in the middle of the night and hides the elf on the shelf. She makes the magic happen. Her siblings love her and respect her. She is mature confident and reliable. Theresa loves animals. All animals but dogs especially. I think she prefers animals to humans. I know she will be a great addition to the company”

13. Abigail F.
“Highly recommend Abby to take care of your pets! She is very thorough and attentive to all of their needs and provides high quality care while you are away!”

14. Peaches & Mike L.
“Peaches is the best. She loves animals and is very knowledgeable in taking care of them. I trusted her with my two dogs on many occasions. She even took care of them when I went on a two week cruise. She came to my house daily not only providing them with the necessities but spent time with them so they wouldn't feel alone. I highly recommend her. She is very responsible.”

About: Experienced caretaker and former nanny - I was employed full-time for my child care and pet care services. Working with both children and animals, I know the importance of keeping a good balance between maintaining a healthy schedule and ensuring there is still time for play, activities & relaxation. My top priorities are keeping the animals I care for safe, loved and happy! I have experience administering medicine and reacting quickly in case of emergencies. This is my current role, so I will have plenty of time to care for your furry friend! I enjoy music, nature, spending time outdoors, staying active & giving a whole lotta love! Activities include: Long walks in nature preserves, hiking destinations and public parks Visiting dog parks (for more social dogs) Playing a game of catch and frissbee (large fenced in backyard) Running, rollerblading, bike riding (especially for high energy dogs) Swimming in reservoirs, lakes and / or the beach (warm weather required) Making sure your dog stays on his / her routine that you've created is essential! I understand the importance of maintaining a healthy schedule for your pup to ensure their health and well being. Aside from the feeding, walking and exercise schedule there will also be plenty of belly rubs, gentle massages, cuddling, petting and boat loads of affection! This is currently my only role / position. This means I have full availability and plenty of time / energy to care for your pet and / or home. As a former professional Nanny, I care for them the way I would care for a child. Safety, respect, care, attention, and lots of love.
