About: I have had many dogs and cats, and I understand how much these furry family members mean to us! I am trained in dog CPR and first aid, to give you peace of mind that even in the worst and most unlikely circumstances, I will care for your dog as if it were my own. I will take good care of your pets, following your directions exactly. I’m comfortable with giving medications, as well as tending to special dietary or medical needs. Rest assured that in my care your dog will receive the same attention you would give to them yourself. Walks can be pack or individual depending on each dogs personality and obedience level. Chuck it or beach walks are a good idea to wear out your dog. Scout has specific dietary needs and he has escaped from a previous pet sitter's fenced-in yard. Heather's home is set up to be escape proof and she is happy to work with special dietary needs. Heather has Basset Hounds and a Blue Tick Beagle that welcomed Scout and helped him to learn how to use the doggy door. Scout had a good time playing with one of Heather's dogs and he was happy and healthy when we returned from our trip. I highly recommend Heather as a pet-sitter, whether in your home or hers.
