About: We are a retired couple who loves dogs. We both have had dogs in our lives since we were children. We’ve been married 40 years, a throughout that time we have remained a multi dog household. All of our dogs have lived long full lives well in to their senior years. We live just outside of North Bend on a 1 1/2 acre fully fenced and cross fenced property. We have two small dogs who we dearly love. We specialize in small breed care, both overnight boarding, and daycare. Your dog needs medication? We got it ! Whatever your dog needs while your way, you can be sure your pup will receive the love and care that they deserve and you expect. Since we are retired, we enjoy a flexible schedule. We enjoy daily leashed walks with our two boys. Sometimes just around our quiet neighborhood, but more often to Horsfall Beach, Ferry Rd Park, Mingus Park or Coos Bay Boardwalk. If your dog is staying with us, he is welcome to join us. Harness and tether are used when traveling in a vehicle. We have a large fenced and cross fenced grassy yard. They have access to a dog door, so if you wish, your dog can have the freedom to go outside at any time. The fencing is in good condition, chain link, and is cross fenced into four sections which allows us to provide a small yard accessed through the dog door, or open up other gates to make a much larger area for running and exploring. We’re here to listen to your needs and follow your wishes and routine. Dogs are allowed in the home, on the sofa or wherever they are comfortable. Both my husband and I have passed an extensive background check through Rover. We have canine CPR and First Aid Certifications. Note: We ask that prior to boarding or daycare we schedule a meet and greet. This time allows us to observe your dog, let them explore the house and yard and how they interact with the other dogs in the pack. Most importantly it helps us ensure a safe, stress free and happy environment for all. We require proof that your dogs are up to date on their vaccinations, which is to include Bordetella and DHLPP given within the last 12 months and the Rabies vaccine which can be the one year or three year dosage. We require all dogs to be on routine flea and tick preventative. All dogs must be spayed or neutered
“Jackie was awesome to work with and was super easy to work with. She sent regular pics, videos, and updates of our pup and I never had to worry if his needs were being met. He’s a big dog and can be a lot to handle but Jackie was awesome with him. Thank you Jackie!”

“Great experience! Mackenzie made me feel very comfortable during my dog's stay and was very communicative. He returned to us happier than he ever he ever would have been being boarded at a kennel. :)”

“Hannah was great! So communicative, caring, attentive, and flexible. Our cat Blue is blind and sometimes skiddish and Hannah was able to break through those barriers quickly. Would totally recommend her!”

“My fur babies are always given excellent care from Natalie! Treats, refills on food and water, litter detail, and play time with a detailed update and great pictures! I always come home to happy cats thanks to Natalie. =)”

“Marie is a caring cat sitter who clearly loves animals. We found her to be cheerful and upbeat and she took our instructions seriously. It put our minds at ease to have her care for our cat while we were away.”

“Very happy on how Chenia took care of our two cats. Felt so happy to see the photos of how well they were doing and all the pets and love. Nice to know that we can leave them in safe hands while we’re gone.”

“Thank you Larraine for again taking such excellent care of Buster and Luna! They’re very shy, and seldom seen, but I know they very much appreciate your love and care. We do too as without you we wouldn’t be able to explore around our new home!”

About: I absolutely love dogs ! They truly are man’s best friend till the end. I have two dogs of my own , whom I love very much ! I have experience in dog sitting as well as dog walking and I am passionate about providing good care and excited to meet new pups! I fit pet care into my day/week routine because I have two dogs of my own. One is a pit bull and another is a boarder collie so to say they need care is an understatement. They have the upmost energy. I will play with them and wear them out so they get a good nights sleep. With that being said we walk, hike, run, go to the beach, play fetch , etc. as much as we can. I treat my puppies very kindly , if not they’re quite spoiled. 😉 I care very deeply about animals and I aim to help when I can !
About: I grew up rescuing and caring for feral cats, wrangling a pack of adopted dogs, caring for pet chickens. I have experience in observing and caring for a wide variety of pet problems, so I'm thoughtful about behavior and game for a gamut of compassionate care. I've had the pleasure to meet many pet personalities and am always eager to enjoy more! In the winter, I have broader availability. I have a flexiblity that allows me to help owners across a wide range of days and times. Let's talk about it! My priorities when petsitting are pets' comfort and safety and keeping a low imprint in the house for the comfort of owners. Having a new person in the house is an adjustment for everyone, and I gear my choices towards making that as smooth as possible.

“Thank you Chenia for taking care of Holly and sending us updates with photos attached to it. She had a great time getting a ride with you and walking in town! Thank you, again!”

“Jacqueline was great! We scheduled her very last minute as we were headed to Sunriver from Portland but needed someone to watch our 4 month-old puppy for a few hours while we played in Bend. I was worried initially that the 100 degree heat would be hard for our little puppy but Jacqueline took her into her air conditioned house. Our pup had a great time playing in the yard with her sweet lab in between cooling off inside.”

“I was in North Bend for work and wanted to bring my dog along. Leaving my dog with Debra felt like leaving him with family. She is responsive, friendly, and caring. Obi had a lot of fun with her dogs (super sweet labs) and was played out the two days she cared for him. She also walked him both days, which I am certain he enjoyed. She also shared updates including photos and videos. Would definitely leave him with her again if in the area.”

“Highly recommend Jeri and Ed! They responded quickly to a last minute request and provided exceptional care for our dog Piper. Communication was excellent! Rufas and Mac their dogs were great playmates for Piper. We are just passing through the area otherwise I would book repeatedly!”

“Jackie did wonders for my puppy, Oggie! He’s still very new to my home and I was so worried about what I would do for the first few days while I’m at work. She kept Oggie occupied and happy. He came home and just wanted to sleep 🥰. She sent plenty of photos and updates on how he was doing throughout the day. I’ll be working with her in the future! Thank you so much Jackie!”

About: Hi! I’m Faith, I’ve been a long-time lover of animals and I’ve taken care of animals for friends & family my whole life! I have a 7-acre property, and a fenced backyard with plenty of room for your pups to walk around in if necessary and I will always be willing to cater to you and your dogs/pets needs to make sure everyone gets exactly what they need and want. Offering reasonable prices that works for everyone. I’m really excited to work with you and your wonderful, excitable, and beautiful pups! I am a SAHM of a 4mo old and always looking for ways for us to get out of the house and enjoy the day. Taking care of pets is something I absolutely love doing and I would love to put your mind at ease with your fur-babies safe and secure in my care during a work day, or just strolling around town. I am able to bring your pet(s) into my home, but I want to make it known that I do have 3 (indoor/outdoor) cats and 1 dog that are my own. All of my animals are friendly but my hound mix is usually at work with my husband so your pups would get the benefit of 1on1 time with myself and eventually my daughter when she’s old enough to play! Any rules you set forward are first and foremost and will help establish what you need from me while caring for your fur-babies. I am currently a stay at home mom with no set schedule, so I would be 100% attentive to your furry friend. My daughter and I love to get out of the house whenever possible, and taking a furry friend along for our walks would just make the day even better. That being said, without having a set schedule, I have all the time to focus on your fur baby. My daughter is used to having animals around, so this would be nothing new for her and I would just need occasional breaks to attend to her during the day. While I am caring for your animals, your pets schedule will be as close to normal as possible. I be sure to try and provide at least 3hrs of solid daily activity (spread out during the day) to help keep the dogs from feeling cooped up during your work day. Food (if staying in my home) MUST BE PROVIDED by the owner, and I also do not provide treats just to avoid any allergy complications. Care is all pending on owner, I try to keep your pets as close to, or on schedule, as if you weren’t away for the day. This also ensures to help keep stress levels down for your babes while you are away.
About: I grew up around cats, dogs, birds, you name it! I don’t currently work so I am able to dedicate loads of time to your fur babies. I don’t currently work so I am able to dedicate loads of time to your fur babies! Drop ins, day care, you name it I’m available! I currently live in an apartment, but I can accommodate small dogs and cats, or do drop ins in your home. I do ask that any dog can be created for short periods of time if I need to run errands etc!
About: I've always loved dogs and have been caring for them my whole life—from daily walks to full pet sitting for neighbors, friends, and family. I'm comfortable with all breeds and sizes, and I understand that every dog has unique needs. Whether it's medication schedules, behavioral quirks, or just their favorite walking route, I pay attention to the details that matter to you and your pet. I'm also currently training to become a professional groomer, so your dog is in experienced hands. I work for myself, which gives me great flexibility for pet care throughout the week. I'm available most mornings and afternoons for walks and visits, with weekend availability as well. I'm happy to work around your schedule to make sure your pet gets consistent, reliable care. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow your specific instructions carefully—whether that's feeding schedules, medication, exercise routines, or house rules. I keep you updated with photos and messages so you have peace of mind while you're away. We live on 6 private acres, so there's plenty of safe space for dogs to explore & no pets of our own if that's a concern (lost our German Shepherd last year and haven't been ready to get another yet). For walks, I use secure leashes/harnesses, stay aware of the environment, and adjust routes based on your dog's energy level and behavior.

“Hannah always takes the best care of our dog Ruby. I am sure she is now one of Ruby's favorite people! Hannah goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly and gives the best updates. She obviously cares a lot about providing the best care. Would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I've taken care of dogs for friends, family and my own pets. I think animals are attracted to me and can sense my kindness. Pet owners are often surprised by how their pets react to me "My pet never trust strangers" or "My pet must really like you." I will care for your pets like they were my own. I'm currently not employed at the moment. I'm planning on moving to California by the end of this year. I have the free time to care for pets. I will follow what you set for your pets routine, rules, preferences and their own special idiocentric tendencies. I respect pet owners and what they choose for their pets.
About: I've had my own dog since I was 3...I could not live without my pets. I have also lost a lot of pets due to old age. I am retired so all my free time goes to my 3 labs and 1 cat. We go for daily walks and the beach ⛱️ I have a big fenced yard ....plenty of room to play. My dogs are very easy to get along with and would love play dates.
About: Hi, I’m Marie! Caring for dachshunds has been a central part of my life for many years. My sweet long-haired miniature dachshund, Luna, joined me as a puppy and was my constant companion for 12 wonderful years. She truly lived her best life—going everywhere with me, acting as my shadow, and showing me just how deep and meaningful the bond between people and dogs can be. I lost her three years ago, but my love for dachshunds has never faded. I still have plenty of dachshund love to give! Alongside Luna, I also shared my life with Mohawk, my Dutch Shepherd (and Luna's "big brother"), whom I cared for into his senior years at over 15 years old. Through both of them, I gained experience caring for small and large breeds, puppies, seniors, and dogs with a wide range of personalities and activity levels. I currently don't have pets of my own, which allows me to give your pets my full attention, care, and affection while they're with me. What I offer: *In-home pet care and house sitting. *Dachshund-savvy handling and care. *Experience with miniature dachshunds, puppies, and senior dogs. *Walks tailored to your pet's needs—from neighborhood strolls to local beach trails. If your dog enjoys adventure, I'd be happy to bring them along on a hike with your permission. *References available through Rover as well as personal references from coworkers and other clients whose pets I've cared for. I treat every animal as if they were my own—with patience, attentiveness, and genuine affection. Whether your companion enjoys long walks, quiet companionship, playtime, or simply having a calm, consistent presence, I'll care for them the way they're most comfortable. I'd love the opportunity to care for your dachshund, dog, or cat and give you complete peace of mind while you're away. I am in my off season so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, play, medication needs, and check-ins, ensuring consistent, reliable care and plenty of attention. I prioritize safety, trust, and routine by carefully following owner instructions, maintaining clean environments, securing doors and gates, monitoring behavior, and providing calm, attentive care in your home. Additionally, I strongly recommend providing harnesses for regular dog walking. I am willing to work with you if your pups do not pull. I typically do not have dogs off leash until I am comfortable with their abilities to stay close and listen during distractions.
About: I love all animals, dogs especially! I used to volunteer at the humane society back when I lived in Reno, NV. I would make rounds to pet all the pups and then volunteer at events like the Duck Race & fashion show. I will do everything in my power to make sure your animals are happy and healthy. I have housesat in the past numerous times, taking care of dogs of all sizes, guinea pigs, cats and even plants. I love to play and spend time with dogs, making sure they feel loved. I genuinely care about animals and our planet and want to provide an undeniably great service to help others in any way that I can. I will happily send photos and guarantee that your animal will have just as much fun as I will taking care of them. Also, I am a nurse so I have experience with medical care if your animals need extra TLC.
