We are visiting the area and needed a dog sitter for the day. Chenia was so nice and attentive to our pup, Moka. We will definitely have her sit for us again when we are in the area. Thank you!

Deb is so great with the dogs. I have two and one was born deaf and is really sassy and other is a very sensative lab. They are both very happy to go. She has a big fenced yard and all the dogs have plenty of room to play or find a nice spot to take a nap.

We had such a wonderful experience! She watched Lucy and Lauretta twice while we were in Coos Bay so we could go fishing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She was absolutely amazing with both of our dogs. She sent us regular photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious from the pictures that Lucy and Lauretta were having the BEST time. They got to play in the pool, enjoy some fruit, and basically have their own little vacation! Both dogs absolutely loved being there, and they came home happy and tired. We are so grateful we found someone who treated them like her own and made them feel so comfortable. We would 100% recommend her and will definitely book with her again whenever we’re in the area!

Highly recommend Jeri and Ed! They responded quickly to a last minute request and provided exceptional care for our dog Piper. Communication was excellent! Rufas and Mac their dogs were great playmates for Piper. We are just passing through the area otherwise I would book repeatedly!

Jackie did wonders for my puppy, Oggie! He’s still very new to my home and I was so worried about what I would do for the first few days while I’m at work. She kept Oggie occupied and happy. He came home and just wanted to sleep 🥰. She sent plenty of photos and updates on how he was doing throughout the day. I’ll be working with her in the future! Thank you so much Jackie!

About: Hi! I’m Faith, I’ve been a long-time lover of animals and I’ve taken care of animals for friends & family my whole life! I have a 7-acre property, and a fenced backyard with plenty of room for your pups to walk around in if necessary and I will always be willing to cater to you and your dogs/pets needs to make sure everyone gets exactly what they need and want. Offering reasonable prices that works for everyone. I’m really excited to work with you and your wonderful, excitable, and beautiful pups! I am a SAHM of a 4mo old and always looking for ways for us to get out of the house and enjoy the day. Taking care of pets is something I absolutely love doing and I would love to put your mind at ease with your fur-babies safe and secure in my care during a work day, or just strolling around town. I am able to bring your pet(s) into my home, but I want to make it known that I do have 3 (indoor/outdoor) cats and 1 dog that are my own. All of my animals are friendly but my hound mix is usually at work with my husband so your pups would get the benefit of 1on1 time with myself and eventually my daughter when she’s old enough to play! Any rules you set forward are first and foremost and will help establish what you need from me while caring for your fur-babies. I am currently a stay at home mom with no set schedule, so I would be 100% attentive to your furry friend. My daughter and I love to get out of the house whenever possible, and taking a furry friend along for our walks would just make the day even better. That being said, without having a set schedule, I have all the time to focus on your fur baby. My daughter is used to having animals around, so this would be nothing new for her and I would just need occasional breaks to attend to her during the day. While I am caring for your animals, your pets schedule will be as close to normal as possible. I be sure to try and provide at least 3hrs of solid daily activity (spread out during the day) to help keep the dogs from feeling cooped up during your work day. Food (if staying in my home) MUST BE PROVIDED by the owner, and I also do not provide treats just to avoid any allergy complications. Care is all pending on owner, I try to keep your pets as close to, or on schedule, as if you weren’t away for the day. This also ensures to help keep stress levels down for your babes while you are away.

About: I've always loved dogs and have been caring for them my whole life—from daily walks to full pet sitting for neighbors, friends, and family. I'm comfortable with all breeds and sizes, and I understand that every dog has unique needs. Whether it's medication schedules, behavioral quirks, or just their favorite walking route, I pay attention to the details that matter to you and your pet. I'm also currently training to become a professional groomer, so your dog is in experienced hands. I work for myself, which gives me great flexibility for pet care throughout the week. I'm available most mornings and afternoons for walks and visits, with weekend availability as well. I'm happy to work around your schedule to make sure your pet gets consistent, reliable care. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow your specific instructions carefully—whether that's feeding schedules, medication, exercise routines, or house rules. I keep you updated with photos and messages so you have peace of mind while you're away. We live on 6 private acres, so there's plenty of safe space for dogs to explore & no pets of our own if that's a concern (lost our German Shepherd last year and haven't been ready to get another yet). For walks, I use secure leashes/harnesses, stay aware of the environment, and adjust routes based on your dog's energy level and behavior.

Debra was very accommodating and kind. My little buddy had a great time and she kept me filled in on how he was doing throughout the day. Nice big backyard that Cayde enjoyed all day from what I saw. I really appreciate the opportunity to have worked with Debra.

Oliver had a great time with Debra! We were so grateful that she was able to care for him a few hours earlier so that we can celebrate our anniversary. He also got to play with 3 more dogs.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your North Bend commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. Many sitters can respond to messages in under an hour.

To find the fastest available match, message multiple sitters with a recent "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
