In a client’s home, I make sure feeding schedules are followed exactly, fresh water is always available, and litter boxes or potty areas are kept clean. I provide regular playtime, exercise, and companionship so pets feel engaged and not lonely while their owner is away. For cats, I focus on a calm environment, respecting their space while also giving attention, brushing if needed, and interactive play when they’re comfortable. I monitor their behavior and well-being closely to notice any changes in appetite, mood, or health. If medication is required, I administer it carefully according to instructions. I also keep the home tidy, respect house rules, and make sure everything is left clean and secure. I send updates to pet owners so they feel confident and reassured while they’re away.

Over the years, my family has welcomed many wonderful dogs; husky shepherd blends, a lab/corgi, an American white shepherd, and pit bull mixes. After retiring early from Fifth Third Bank, I now have free time to spend giving dogs the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I'm an active retiree with a flexible schedule that makes it easy to take a walk or play with your pup as available. Daytime hours are best for me, between 8 am and 4 pm. I love staying active and taking dogs on walks while making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I’ve cared for dogs for neighbors, friends, family members, and through pet-sitting platforms. My experience includes overnight stays, extended care, feeding, walking, bathing, and, of course, spending quality time with your pets. About: I have owned and helped take care of my family’s animals since I was around 6 years old. I am a dog mom to a 4 year old golden retriever and she is my world. I would love to do anything that I can to help you and take care of your pet while you are away or just need an extra hand. I can go on walks with them, play with them, feed them, and keep them safe! I can also help bathe them and keep them groomed by brushing them. I am a photographer so I have relatively open availability. My dog is my entire world so I know exactly how anyone who trusts their pet with anyone else feels. There is so much love and support coming from my side of taking care of them. I talk to them like they are people and give them reassurance when it rains or when they miss you. For stop ins, it’s super easy for me to sit with them for up to an hour, giving them affection and company. For my own dog, we go on walks a lot and do tricks and puzzles to ensure brain exercise during the day. I do not have a fenced in yard yet, but we do walk with a leash around the town as well as use a beeping and vibrating collar to keep pets in our yard.

About: I have had the privilege of owning two weimeriners. For 12 and 13 years each. I know how to train and care for a puppy and how to medicate and care for a senior dog. I've raised cats since I was a child. My family breed Siamese kittens. So I'm very familiar with cats from birth onwards. More recently I rescued two feral kittens and they have joined my family. I can do medications for all animals and extra care your pets may need. I understand all pets are unique and have their own quirks. I am currently working a flexible part time job. I therefore have plenty of time and love to devote to your fur baby! This allows me to spoil your pet with my time. I am aware that your home is your pet's personal safe space. I have the utmost respect for them and making sure they are comfortable.
