“Did a great job!”

About: I’m a Mom of 3 college age kids with the time to now dedicate to my passion for taking care of dogs. I’m also a dog Mom who adores my 4th baby, a lovable golden doodle. I trained her myself and she always receives compliments on how well behaved she is. My clients are always satisfied with the attention to detail I provide when caring for their special pups. I work part time, so I have a very flexible schedule and I do offer pet walking services on weekends. I love to be outdoors and walk, so I can provide extra walking time if your pup requires it. I can come to you and your neighborhood, at your convenience, to offer dog walking services. I can stay extra time to provide extra special attention depending on the needs of your pups.

“I cannot recommend Bethany highly enough! She recently stayed at my home to care for my senior small dog, and she was absolutely amazing. From the start, Bethany was warm, professional, and incredibly caring. She took the time to understand my dog’s needs and routines, and it showed in how comfortable and happy she was in her care. Throughout her stay, Bethany kept in touch just as I had requested—sending thoughtful updates and sweet pictures that truly put my mind at ease. It was clear from every message that she treated my pup with so much love and attention. It’s such a relief to have found someone so reliable and compassionate. I’ll definitely be contacting Bethany again for future dates. Thank you, Bethany, for your caring personality and for taking such wonderful care of little dog!”

About: For future reference; will not be accepting non neutered or spayed cats/dogs unless accompanied by a crate, especially if their not trained please. I do have one myself, so not that you need to have one per se but allow use if necessary! This is partially for Henrys experience too, so please keep that in mind when reading this; its not to be snarky. I have trained two dogs growing up who have above average listening and response times. Positive reinforcement was key to my success, psychology paid off. One was a rescue dog; she was such a sweet heart but it took some time getting her to open up based off her traumatic experiences prior to entering the adoption location she luckily found her way too. Henry on the other hand, was purchased from a breeder, so fortunately for him less baggage, and unfortunately for her given the circumstances. I've done dog sitting/pet care for family dogs when family members would go on vacation for anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. Medication administration is a non issue, as well as grooming is another area I take great pride in doing myself, as it's a good trait to have being a pet owner. Have cared for puppies, adult or senior dogs; we were a dog first family growing up so I've grown to love them more than you can realize just through descriptions; with my active daily lifestyle it allows for the animals to gain as much out of exercise as I do and working from home helps as well. I treat animals as if their my family or children, so they'd receive the same treatment one would expect from a friend baby sitting their children. Seamlessly; he wakes up when I do and is let out accordingly at 4 AM we go for multiple walks a day most notably 430 AM and 530 PM. I work from home so it makes it very manageable to get him outside for bathroom breaks within 2-2.5 hour interval periods. I'd like to think we both operate at a high level through one another. We feed off one another, so when he's upbeat I am too, but when I'm down he has his tricks that ensure a great therapeutic touch. I treat them as if their my children; I speak to them in a way they understand with words or phrases we've practiced or has practiced to ensure optimal success in regards to understanding one another. Henry and I like to play often with his toys or just horsing around with Belly rubs and chasing him around the house. He sleeps with me too, so no furniture is off limits as I usually have blankets or other covers in place to manage hair loss.

About: Lifetime dog Mom. We have boarded dogs from 1 night to 20 nights so far. We have had Mini and teacup poodles, Dachshunds, Goldens, Labs, Labradoodles, Bichons, Schnauzers and other mixed breeds. We have great relationships with all of our pet families. We are a family of four, my husband and I have been in Richmond for 27 years in the same home. We live in a bungalow with a fenced yard. Many furry guests have enjoyed lazing in the sun in our front window, on our backyard deck and have enjoyed going for long walks in our dog friendly, and walking through the conservation area alongside the Jock River. We have two grown sons - 21 and 25. We all work full time, and there’s always somebody home. We are all animal lovers. I grew up with a shepherd and a lab. Our family has had the love of Ruby, a beagle and the most fun with Freddie, our beloved Bichon-Poodle. We laid Freddie to rest in Sept 2021. Our home is open to doggie silliness and company. I’ve done pet and house sitting for friends and family for years. Our primary interest is in hosting low or non-shedding dogs. Doodles, poodles, schnauzers, dachshunds, GMD, you get the idea. We love small to medium breeds. But check with me because I do love them all and would be willing to try any breed. I like to arrange a meet and greet and have a trial stay before committing to a long term 1-2 week stay. Our family has taken many roads trips and brought our own dogs with us over many years, now we are avid campers/glampers (travel trailer) and, when our customers approve, we have taken some of our furry guests with us. We understand both your concerns and your needs for a worry free time away. We are ready to care for your pet and give you peace of mind while away. Please note that we may take dogs from 2 families at one time during busy seasons and are well set up to manage this. Our home is a relaxed space and we always make sure the furry guests are kept stress free. I work full-time (mostly remotely) - when I have to be in the office I make arrangements with my sons to help out with dog walking and check-ins. My days ebb and flow. I can take the time necessary to get up early with your dog and get them walked, fed and settled before I start my day. I often have breaks during the day and can take them out a couple of times per day as necessary. We also have a fenced yard and a dog door to our large deck and yard. My pet sitting style is to give dogs lots of play, attention, snuggly places to nap and enough love so they don’t miss you too much while you’re away - hoping you and your pet will be comfortable never stressed. I can care for your furry family members in my home or in yours. I know it helps dogs and cats feel less stressed when they can stay home, follow their routines and be in safe and familiar surroundings.

“Dekoda was very kind and pleasant to work with. She went above and beyond spending time with our animals. Our vacation was much more enjoyable knowing they were well taken care of. Will definitely be booking with her again.”

They both get along great (at times) and I love having them in my life. About: I love dogs! I have experience taking care of big and small, well and not so well behaved dogs : ). I have a private property for ball throwing and running around. I work at home so I have the time to care for your dog. My main reason to do this is because I love pets but I am not ready for my own again just yet. I work from home full time! I would be able to give your dog walks before work, lunch, and after work. I’m open to special needs. I have 10 acres. It’s not fenced but has a treed border. I would have your pet at my home. I don’t have any other pets or children in the home.

About: My family started off with small dogs. By the time I was in middle school we were rescue housing huge dogs. I love cats. I might like them more than any other animal. I’ve dealt with puppies to old age dogs. I’m currently starting physical therapy school. I have breaks every 3 hours. I do not currently have a full time job. My weekends are free. I am not allowed to have pets in my house. All care would be at local dog parks or the clients neighborhood. I am willing to travel.

“Caitlyn did a great job caring for Hershey. He was happy and relaxed when we returned home!”

I work shift work that consists of 4 days working in a row and then 4 days off in a row. I have two cats at home that I love so much. They typically mind their own business when dogs are around! I am very much for open communication between us on anything and am looking to develop awesome relationships with you and your fur babies! I work full time, 4 days in a row and then have 4 days off in a row! I like to spend my spare time with my own pets, taking care of others’, being active, playing sports etc! My place is clean, tidy, and safe for all pets! I am very attentive to their needs and behaviours. | | | | | |

“Vanessa currently takes wonderful care of a 3 year old Golden Doodle, Daisy. Vanessa's family got Daisy as a 3 month old puppy in December of 2021. While training Daisy, Vanessa showed remarkable patience and care. Vanessa is incredibly kind to the animals she care for, but another defining factor is her ability remain firm and maintain control. Daisy is wonderfully behaved and respects other animals and people. Vanessa also has experience dog sitting for neighbors. Vanessa has helped out friends by taking time out of her daily schedule to feed, walk, and interact with their dogs when they are on vacation. Both Vanessa's caring persona and experience are qualities that make her that make her very well suited to care for animals.”

Jason H.Star Sitter
“I was excited to hear that Jason signed on to work with Rover. I have known him in a professional capacity for several years now and have come to appreciate the wonderful relationship he has with his canine companion Henry. Jason loves his dog and strives to give Henry a balance of consistent exercise, training, affection, play and rest resulting in a healthy, happy, engaging pet. I have no doubt that he will do the same with your animal! I know Jason to pay attention to details and he works hard to do well in whatever he decides to do. Tell him what your pet needs, what your expectations are and leave Jason and Henry to do the rest!”

Stephanie K.Star Sitter
“My dog is somewhat skittish so I was apprehensive about leaving her but Steph took the time to get to know her and listened to my concerns. My dog is also a huge mooch and loves table scraps so was more than happy to share peanut butter toast with Steph in the morning. She loves going to visit Steph's place and is treated like a queen! Great communication regarding making plans and the whole family is on board.....I highly recommend Stephanie to care for your pups!”
