About: I have had the opportunity to be around all kinds of animals, from family animals, like black labs and cats, to my own personal holland lop bunny. I currently live with a roommate/teammate who owns a cat who is currently best friends with my bunny. I have been going on visits with my roommate who currently is active on rover and decided after a few practices that I would love to do it myself!! I am a college athlete so right now my summer is pretty open, as I am on campus with workouts from 9-12:30 most days. But anytime after and especially in the evening I am always free!! I would love to be able to go on walks, as I am a very active person, as well as just being able to care for and love on your pet, whether you’re at work or on vacation!!

About: Throughout my childhood until now my family has had 5 dogs that I have lived with and assisted in the care of. My family also volunteers for a local animal rescue where we have fostered around 15 dogs on their path to find loving forever homes. As part of this rescue, I have also volunteered at adoption events where I would often walk dogs that were up for adoption as well as sit and play with them during the events. At the moment I am currently looking for work or to work part-time, so I should have a pretty flexible schedule in order to take care of your dogs, whether it be through walking or house visits! “Andrew is a pet whisperer and knows how to let a pet’s personality lead the interaction for a successful relationship! I was fostering two fearful puppies from a neglect and abandonment situation who had pretty much zero human contact for the first 8 weeks of their life, and (aside from me) they barked with fear and hid from everyone. But then, also except for Andrew! The day he met them he was calm and gentle, and let them approach him—which they did fairly quickly, and without barking! After 30 minutes they were letting him pet them and giving his hand nudges and licks for attention. He never tried too much too soon with them, which most people would do “because cute little puppies!” which I appreciate greatly. He is a trustworthy and responsible animal lover who shows care and respect for animals’ physical and emotional well being.”
