Over: Hi loved pet owners! I love animals in general and I always feel happy and relaxed when I am around them. Spending time with pets, giving them attention, cuddles, and care is something that truly brings me joy. I especially love their sweet, loving nature, their loyalty, and the special bond you can build with them. I also enjoy practicing basic commands and small training exercises. It is very satisfying to see progress, even in small steps, and I like giving dogs both mental and physical activity. Over the years, I have often taken care of dogs and cats for friends and colleagues, sometimes for multiple weeks in a row. For example, I looked after Appa, a 3-year-old Swiss Shepherd, who is very active and full of love and loyalty. I also took care of Otis, a 4-year-old Labradoodle, who is calmer and loves cuddles all day long. I live next to Marlot Park in The Hague, which is a great location for dog walks and outdoor time. Since I am an active person who enjoys cycling, climbing, nature, and being outdoors, I am a great match for dogs that like to be active too. For dogs that are calm and well-trained, it can sometimes also be possible for them to join me at my office, where there are often other dogs around. One of my motivations for pet sitting is that I would love to have a pet of my own, because I really enjoy having animals around me. At the same time, my work sometimes requires me to travel, usually around twice a year for multiple weeks, and I also like the freedom to make spontaneous trips now and then. For me, pet sitting is the perfect combination: I get to enjoy the company, love, and loyalty of animals, while not having the full-time responsibility of owning a pet myself. Since I’m an active person myself and enjoy being outdoors, biking, and climbing, I’m a great match for dogs that like movement and fresh air. When staying at my home, dogs can enjoy my spacious 80 m2 apartment, where they can relax comfortably and always find a cozy place to rest. And of course, they will get plenty of attention, affection, and cuddles throughout the day. In my own home, I always try to create a safe, loving, and relaxed environment for pets. I want dogs to feel comfortable and cared for, so their owners can also feel confident and not have to worry. I love giving pets attention, playing with them, and taking them on long walks to help them stay active, happy, and relaxed. A well-exercised dog is usually calmer and sleeps better at night, which helps them feel at home. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I believe respect and trust are the most important things. I respect people’s privacy, their home, and their belongings, and I always treat everything carefully. I primarily care for pets in their own home because it's less stressful for them! I stick to their usual routine for feeding, walks, and playtime. Their safety is my top priority, so I make sure everything is secure and they feel comfortable and trusted with me.

Over: I have taken care of our family cat and dog since I was young, and have pet sat for neighbors and friends for most of my life. I have often walked peoples dogs daily whilst they have been away. I have always found it important when taking care of others pets to not only provide the basic needs such as walks food and water, but more importantly to spend time playing with them and keeping them entertained whilst Im there. I work 9-5 on monday, wednesday, thursday and friday, and have school on tuesdays. I am available for full time sitting over the weekends as well as afternoon visits during the week. She has lived and traveled all over the U.S. (over 20 states!) and now has made her way with us across the ocean to The Netherlands. Even before becoming a Rover sitter, I cared for friends' and neighbors' dogs on many occasions including a beagle, a husky and a golden retriever and grew up with shih tzu and a cockapoo, who I loved to play with and walk around the neighborhood. I’ve also stayed with dogs who are crated and am comfortable with crate commands. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it takes to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet. This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: €10/hr 5pm-10pm: €12/hr 10pm-8am: €16/hr Holidays & Weekends: €18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of €40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner.

“Met Caitlynn heb ik mij helemaal geen zorgen hoeven te maken. Waar ik soms nog eens een schuldgevoel aan over houd had ik dat deze keer juist niet toen ik de hond achterliet. Caitlynn wandelt niet alleen met de hond maar nam ook nog het initiatief en de tijd om gezellig in de tuin te spelen! Ze stuurde via Rover maar ook via de apps wat updates en durfde iets te vragen als het nodig was. Ik ben zeer tevreden en hoop Caitlynn een volgende keer weer in te kunnen schakelen!”
