Over: I’m a student living in The Hague, and one thing I miss the most from home is being surrounded by animals. I grew up with dogs my whole life and had four dogs, a cat, and hamsters, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my everyday life. I’ve always been very comfortable around all kinds of animals and truly enjoy spending time with them. I also have previous experience with dog walking, dog sitting, and volunteering with animals. I understand how important it is for pet owners to trust the person taking care of their pets, so I always try to be attentive, patient, and responsible. I know animal behavior can sometimes be unpredictable, especially outside. I’m very attentive and careful during walks and always make sure dogs feel safe and comfortable. I understand that animals can sometimes react unexpectedly to other dogs, loud noises, bikes, or unfamiliar situations, so I stay calm and handle situations patiently and responsibly. I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior and energy level and adapt walks to their needs. My priority is always their safety, comfort, and happiness. I can also provide extra care if needed, including giving oral medications and helping with basic care for eyes, paws, or fur. I would be very happy to help both pets and their owners and make sure your animals feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m also happy to send regular updates, photos, and messages so owners can feel relaxed and know their pets are doing well. I’m flexible with mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight stays if needed. On some weekdays I may be away for classes for around 5 hours, but I always make sure pets are comfortable, cared for, and never left without attention for too long. I only provide care in the pet owner’s home. I always try to follow the pet’s usual routine so they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I’m very attentive to animals’ behavior and needs, especially during walks or stressful situations, and I always prioritize their safety and wellbeing. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos to keep owners reassured while they’re away.

Over: Sinds 5 jaar pas ik op hondjes en katten in Den Haag met veel liefde, zorg en aandacht. Ik vind veiligheid van mijn oppas dieren heel belangrijk en zorg ik dat ze veilig zijn.Ik ontva g alleen een dier om volle aandacht en zorg kunnen geven.Vooral, ben ik ervaren met puppies, kleine en middelgrote honden en alle soort van katten. Ze kunnen ook bij mij thuis logeren. Ik werk part time vanuit thuis , dus heb ik veel tijd om mijn oppas dieren te verzorgen. Ik kan hondjes uitlaten of wandelingen maken met ze en met bal laten spelen. Ik woon in een apartement die veilig is voor dieren.Er is ook een grote balkon en grote park om ze te uitlaten. Verder heb ik geen kinderen of andere huisdieren.

Over: I was taking care of all my neighbours dogs in my previous appointment in Amsterdam. In love with them and like to take them out for long walks. (Also run with the dogs that likes it) I’m working remotely all the time and can take care of dogs in my place for day, nights or both. Walking them outside, let them play in my fenced yard or run if they are into that are what I could offer. I can take care of cats in your place as I have minor allergies to some of them and it will become major if I stay with them longer. For dogs, I’m open to keep them at your place or mine. I have no pet by my own but like them more than anything else.

On Wednesdays, I’m free starting in the afternoon. This consistent availability means I can provide reliable routines, regular bathroom breaks, and lots of midday companionship for your furry friends. While I live in an apartment, I am a very active person and love going on long, scenic walks to ensure your dog gets all the exercise and mental stimulation they need. I am very attentive to surroundings and pet safety while out and about. Inside my home, I provide a calm, pet proofed, and cozy environment where your dog can relax and feel right at home with plenty of one on one attention.

Over: I grew up with pets from birth. Ive looked after pets for neighbours and friends since I was 7 and loved each and every one of them. I have a lot of free time to dedicate myself to give your pet the love and care they deserve. Almost always available, even on last minute requests It is important to adapt to their routines and be readily available to meet their needs. And your cats can stay overnight, we have a big food bowl and a big litterbox. My cats are not the fighty type either so its safe ! Over: I’ve been caring for my little crew at home for years now – two cats I’ve had since they were tiny kittens, and my rescue dog who’s been with me since he was two. We all live together in a cozy two-bedroom apartment with a balcony, and, it’s perfect for us. I work from home, so I’m pretty much always around, which means there’s always someone to give belly rubs, toss a toy, or just hang out with the pets.

I have taken care of pets from friends and family from sizes small to medium (up to around35kgs) and also cats (kittens and adults) I work full time remote! So i can give a lot of love and attention to your fur babies! My dog does potty break 3x a day, we live near a fenced dog park about 5min walk! I would love to take care of your babies as if they were mine!

Over: Hi! I'm Jess and I am a dog mom to 12-year-old Siberian Husky, Luna. She is a sweet, energetic, confident dog who loves all kinds of people and other dogs. She has lived and traveled all over the U.S. (over 20 states!) and now has made her way with us across the ocean to The Netherlands. Even before becoming a Rover sitter, I cared for friends' and neighbors' dogs on many occasions including a beagle, a husky and a golden retriever and grew up with shih tzu and a cockapoo, who I loved to play with and walk around the neighborhood. Before moving to The Netherlands, we most recently lived in Richmond, Virginia and enjoyed walking the many urban hiking trails and parks together. Since I started pet sitting through Rover, I have stayed with and looked after all of different kinds of pups including senior pups, puppies, and all different sizes of dogs from toy to large. I’ve also cared for other caged pets in the same home like rabbits when needed. I care for them all like they are my very own Luna girl. My husband is also a Rover sitter and will sometimes accompany me. David has always been a dog lover and loves to give my clients some extra attention while you’re away. He is also a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran and as such is very good under pressure/does not hesitate to act when dealing with anything out of the ordinary like illness or injury. My clients and I are very lucky to have him by my side when he does come along during bookings. About My Services: I am confident with standard commands in English and am learning some in Dutch as well. I also speak French and am happy to learn and practice commands in any language that suits your pet. All of my services are customizable to your pets needs, but below is a list of what is typically included in my Standard Rate with and without overnight stay, as well as my Constant Care Rate, which I have limited availability to accept, but will consider if I am available and your pet’s needs require it. Standard Rate w/overnight stay: -potty breaks every 4-6 hours during awake hours, depending on your pet’s needs (can accommodate 3-4 hours for young puppies*) -feeding & medication 1-3x per day -1 30-60 min walks/playtimes time per day (can be split into 2 15-30 min walks/playtimes) -2-3 updates per day -overnight stay -2-4 hours/day of time spent at home during awake hours for your pet’s comfort, mental stimulation, or play time during the day Standard rate - no overnight stay: -potty breaks every 4-6 hours during awake hours, depending on your pet’s needs (can accommodate 3-4 hours for young puppies*) -feeding and medication 1-3x per day -1 30-60 min walks/playtimes time per day (can be split into 2 15-30 min walks/playtimes) -2-3 updates per day -no overnight stay -4-8 hours/day of time spent at home during awake hours for your pet’s comfort, mental stimulation, play time or other particular needs during the day Constant Care Rate (2x Standard Rate): -frequent potty breaks (less than 4 hours between) during awake hours -feeding & medication as needed (typically 2-3x a day) -1 30-60 min walks per day (can be split into 2 15-30 min walks) -2-3 updates per day -overnight stay -8-10 hours/day of time spent at home during awake hours for your pet’s comfort, mental stimulation, play time or other particular needs during the day -2-4 hours of time away for pet sitter per day (can be split up into 1-2 hour intervals) *All dogs are different and I will rely on your recommendation for your pets, but as a rule of thumb a puppy can typically hold its bladder for the number of hours equal to its age in months plus one Depending on distance from my location and time commitment required to travel to your location, additional travel fees may be applied to your booking. Charges will be communicated up front before confirming the booking. I work remotely and part-time and have plenty of flexibility to accommodate your pet’s unique routine and needs during the week or on the weekend. <~~>~~<~~>~~<~~>~~<~~> Pet and Pet Sitter Safety: I have stayed with dogs who have easy access to a fenced outdoor space and with those who do not, so I am comfortable with ensuring leashes and/or gates are always secure. I’ve also stayed with dogs who are crated and am comfortable with crate commands. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it takes to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet. This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: €10/hr 5pm-10pm: €12/hr 10pm-8am: €16/hr Holidays & Weekends: €18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of €40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner.
