Over: I’m a student living in The Hague, and one thing I miss the most from home is being surrounded by animals. I grew up with dogs my whole life and had four dogs, a cat, and hamsters, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my everyday life. I’ve always been very comfortable around all kinds of animals and truly enjoy spending time with them. I also have previous experience with dog walking, dog sitting, and volunteering with animals. Over: Hi! I'm David and I am a dog dad to 11-year-old Siberian Husky, Luna. My wife and I got her as a puppy and have raised her to be a sweet, energetic dog who loves all kinds of people and other dogs. We started out in Brooklyn, NY where we used to take long walks around Prospect Park. Then, we moved to Venice, CA and loved exploring the west side together - especially meeting all kinds of new pups and people on our walks around Venice Beach! Over the years, I have walked and stayed overnight with friends' and neighbors' dogs on several occasions including a beagle, a husky and a golden retriever. I also grew up with a golden retriever, who I loved to play with and walk around the neighborhood. Now we are located in The Hague near many parks, the beach and forest. My wife also started sitting through Rover years ago and I have met and hung out with almost all of her pups including senior pups, puppies, and all different sizes of dogs from toy to large. We care for them all like they are our very own Luna girl. About My Services: All of my services are customizable to your pets needs, but below is a list of what is typically included in my Standard Rate with and without overnight stay, as well as my Constant Care Rate, which I have limited availability to accept, but will consider if I am available and your pet’s needs require it. I’ve also stayed with dogs who are crated and am comfortable with crate commands. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport over 10 miles away, a fee of $1/mile (for example: if required to drive 40 miles roundtrip, the fee will be $20) will be applied to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it would take to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet (for boarding clients, mileage will be calculated based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s home). This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: $10/hr 5pm-10pm: $12/hr 10pm-8am: $16/hr Holidays & Weekends: $18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of $40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. If the pet sitter’s vehicle is damaged by your pet or requires professional cleaning, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for repairs and cleaning fees by the pet owner. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner. I’m a small business owner and work from home, taking care of my own 10 year old female Siberian Husky named Luna, and can easily accommodate some other furry friends! I have a fenced in secured back yard with multiple spotlights and security cameras, alarm system in my home which is set any time I’m away from home without my dog, and at night regardless. We have a clean 2 story home with 2k square feet of interior space and a large fenced in private back yard with a (6.5ft fence). My wife also works from home and is a highly experienced Rover sitter herself, and we treat all pups like our own!

Unfortunately, at the moment, I don't have the financial means to get my own dog. That's why I would be thrilled to take care of your dog. Over: Sinds 5 jaar pas ik op hondjes en katten in Den Haag met veel liefde, zorg en aandacht. Ik vind veiligheid van mijn oppas dieren heel belangrijk en zorg ik dat ze veilig zijn.Ik ontva g alleen een dier om volle aandacht en zorg kunnen geven.Vooral, ben ik ervaren met puppies, kleine en middelgrote honden en alle soort van katten. Ze kunnen ook bij mij thuis logeren. Ik werk part time vanuit thuis , dus heb ik veel tijd om mijn oppas dieren te verzorgen. Ik kan hondjes uitlaten of wandelingen maken met ze en met bal laten spelen. Ik woon in een apartement die veilig is voor dieren.Er is ook een grote balkon en grote park om ze te uitlaten. Over: Since I had my first dog, who was part of my life for 16 years, I developed a true love for dogs and learned to understand their needs. I used to take care of three dogs (one bigger and two puppies) so I have experience with different sizes. I enjoy taking care of dogs, playing with them, taking them to walks and giving them attention. I'm currently working 9-5 (Monday to Friday), so I'm available anytime after 5, nights, and I'm fully available during the weekends. Dog's safety and comfort are always my priority. I can feed them, take them for walks, play with them, help them feel calm and relaxed so that they can rest peacefully.

I grew up with her and took care of her, including going on long walks, taking her to different trainings, and simply feeding her and loving her. Momenteel heb ik erg veel vrije dagen, dus huisdieren passen heel goed in mijn dagelijkse planning. Dit betekent ook dat huisdieren die mogelijk meer aandacht nodig hebben bij mij aan het juiste adres zijn. Mijn woning heeft enkel een balkon (dat ook veilig is voor huisdieren zoals katten), maar is wel gelegen naast een mooi groot park waar ik graag tijd doorbreng. Ik heb genoeg ruimte in mijn huis voor grote en kleine dieren, en aparte ruimtes voor dieren die gehecht zijn aan hun privacy.

Since moving to the Netherlands in 2010, I have been caring for cats and dogs through house-sitting, dog walking, and cat-sitting. What makes my care special is that I truly treat every pet as if they were my own. When your furry friend stays with us, they become part of our family. My husband and I love spending time with pets, whether it’s taking them for lovely walks through the forest, along the nearby dykes, or to the beach for some fun and fresh air. Over: I was taking care of all my neighbours dogs in my previous appointment in Amsterdam. In love with them and like to take them out for long walks. (Also run with the dogs that likes it) I’m working remotely all the time and can take care of dogs in my place for day, nights or both. Walking them outside, let them play in my fenced yard or run if they are into that are what I could offer. I can take care of cats in your place as I have minor allergies to some of them and it will become major if I stay with them longer. For dogs, I’m open to keep them at your place or mine. I have no pet by my own but like them more than anything else.
