Over: I have had a German shepherd and also a Samoyeed. I have taken care of dogs since I was 7, I love them and I’ll take care of your dog as my own. I’m currently working parttime so I have plenty of time to care of your pet. I’m kind, patient, and careful. You can trust me to take good care of them. Though I do not prefer to keep them in my place, my place is fully fenced and safe for pets. If needed, they can stay with me.

I've frequently taken on the responsibility of looking after friends' and neighbors' dogs, managing their routines and needs with care. Last year, I adopted my own dog and successfully trained her, focusing on obedience, socialization, and positive reinforcement techniques. Over: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, grew up with family pets and have looked after dogs for friends and family over the years, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of breeds, sizes and energy levels. I also have a background in healthcare, so I’m pretty attentive to how a person or dog is feeling physically and happy to help with any special needs. Living in Delft, I love getting outside for long walks around the canals and parks, so your pup will get plenty of fresh air and exercise. I’m reliable, patient and treat every dog like my own, sticking to feeding schedules and routines so they feel at home. I’m a grad student doing research right now, so my schedule is flexible but does vary week to week. I’m happy to work with you to find times that suit, whether that’s daily walks, drop ins or longer sits, and can usually adjust around your dog’s routine rather than the other way around. I’m comfortable looking after your dog either at my place or yours, depending on what works best for everyone. My apartment is calm and quiet, perfect for a relaxed stay, but I’m also happy to come to your home and keep things consistent with your dog’s usual environment, routines and any house rules you have.

I'm a huge animal lover and I’ve grown up with loads of different animals (cats, parrots, fish, turtle). In my home country I lived with two cats — one I adopted from his previous owner and the second was inherited after my grandmother. However, dogs are my passion too. My husband's parents have a dog and I love it very much. So I got used to different kind of animals, ages and personalities. Since I love animals so much but don’t have any pet right now I thought it was a great idea to get a profile on Rover. I have been pet sitting for more than 3 years here in the Netherlands, including regular walks, boarding time and pet sitting. I always listen to my clients, I have frequent contact with them, and I always try to give the best care for any dog (goldens, chihuahuas, shepherds, french bulldogs, cockers, among others). I love the interaction and taking care of the animals while you’re not able to. I love dogs and would like to take care of and spend time with any pets. In my family, we consider our pets part of our family members, who also deserve lots of love and care! My husband works remotely from home. He usually walks the dog for 20-30 minutes in the morning. Then the next walk happens in the lunchtime. And at the end of the day, we prefer to take long walks together, since we have a sedentary job. We will be glad if we find a nice furry company for walks. We live in our own apartment with a nice walking area around the house and there are several parks and green areas within walking distance. We can walk with your dog throughout the day (morning / afternoon / evening). During the walk we usually make a picture of your pet for you.

As we have no children or pets, your furry friend becomes our priority. We provide a joyful routine including walks every three hours, interactive play, and plenty of cozy afternoon sofa cuddles. We treat every furry guest like our own family! To ensure a comfortable stay, we kindly request that pets are vaccinated, neutered, and a low-shedding breed (due to Thomas’s allergies). We also can accommodate house visits, and walks at your place, too. If there's any change of plans, we always keep our calendar updated. We live in a nice and quiet neighbourhood. We live in an apartment with lift and a balcony. There are many green areas in our neighbourhood, where your puppy can go to explore and play. After every walk, they will get treats and then we'll play some more if they're up for it. Then, in the afternoons we will spend some time together on the couch while we watch something on TV. Finally, before going to sleep, we'll go for a walk again. Of course, we're happy to accommodate to your puppy's routine and will be recording our time together with photos so that we can share them with you.

Over: Ik heb mijn hondje als een maand oude puppy in het bos gevonden en sindsdien zijn we samen. Ze is mijn eerste eigen hond, maar ik krijg regelmatig complimenten over hoe goed ze is opgevoed. Ik heb een jaar de tijd gekomen om haar op te voeden en te trainen, daarna ben ik enkele jaren met haar gaan backpacken. Hierdoor ben ik het gewend om altijd controle over mijn hond te hebben, ongeacht wat voor situatie we in zijn. Ook heb ik regelmatig contact met andere honden of pas ik op andere honden/dieren van vrienden en familie, en heb ik op verschillende boerderijen gewerkt. Ik ben echt een dieren mens en over het algemeen zijn dieren snel en makkelijk met mij in omgang. Momenteel ben ik vrij van verplichtingen en heb ik dus veel tijd en ben ik flexibel qua planning. Ik geef de voorkeur aan langere termijn housesitting. I will take my time to get to know your dog, and to introduce him/her to Kiwi. If necessary this can be done on neutral terrain or a walk. My own dog gets food twice per day, she is okay with other dogs but if necessary they can be kept apart while eating. Normally I walk her one to three times a day, depends on the weather, time, etc. For your dog I will follow the instructions you provide and take care that the dogs will be social to each other, or at best tolerate and respect each other.

Over: Ik woon zelf in een studentenhuis waar helaas geen dieren toegestaan zijn. Mijn ouders hadden ook nooit een hond maar bij mijn opa en oma kon ik altijd helpen met de hondjes uitlaten en verzorgen. Ik wandel graag en zou dit graag doen met wat gezelschap van een viervoeter erbij! Ik zit momenteel tussen twee banen in en heb daarom heel veel vrije tijd. Ik probeer sowieso elke dag een uur te wandelen dus dat past goed in mijn routine. Ik ben erg zorgzaam en leergierig. Als ik zou komen oppassen hoor ik graag wat belangrijk is en waar ik rekening mee moet houden om alles goed te laten verlopen.

Over: All my life I had a dog, unfortunately here in Netherlands I don't get enough time that I can bring my friend home forever. Therefore, I try to spend as much time as I can by babysitting and dog walking. They are my first love and will remain that way. I have had Doberman, German Shephard, pomeranian, Pug and Labrador Retriever(currently) as my pets back in home. From my experience, I can say that every dog is unique and deserves the best and unique treatment. I live in a individual house which consists of ground, first and second floor. The house is properly ventilated and the stairs are carpeted which makes it non-slippery. There is a huge backyard which makes it more convenient and fun for the dogs! The backyard is appropriate if your dog likes to play all the time, also then this is the place for your dog. I started pet sitting here in Netherlands 6 months back and I am loving it more than anything. I had an amazing time walking the dogs, taking care at my home or sitting them at their parent's house.
