Unfortunately, due to my rental agreement, I am unable to have pets in my home, which makes this opportunity even more meaningful to me. All my life, my family has had cats, so I have experience in caring for them and understanding them since childhood. Additionally, I have often been a pet nanny for my friends' cats and dogs. I get along very well with cats and respect their personal boundaries. I have previous experience in pet sitting (both for cat and dogs), where I was responsible for feeding, walking, and ensuring the overall well-being of both cats and dogs. As a freelance illustrator working from home, I have full control over my schedule, which allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily or weekly routine. Over: Hello! I’m an Italian-French engineering Master’s student living in Delft, and the proud mom of a 14-year-old tabby cat named Lilly. I’ve been caring for her and for other cats since I was 9 years old. Having cats around me is something I find deeply relaxing and comforting, and I would love the chance to provide the same care and companionship to your cat. I am currently doing my Masters thesis and therefore can work from home often. This means I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to my availabilities and I am at home with your pet to keep them company or take care of them multiple times during the day. I understand that every cat has its own unique personality and needs. Some love cuddles and playtime, while others prefer quiet companionship — and I enjoy both. Whether it’s engaging a playful cat or simply keeping a calm presence while I read nearby, I respect each cat’s personal space. I also have experience caring for cats who are sick, so I can extra support when needed.

Over: Mijn liefde voor dieren begon al op jonge leeftijd. Ik groeide op tussen de vissen, salamanders en kikkers in onze vijver – en dat werd alleen maar meer. Op mijn elfde kwam Doezel in mijn leven: een Stafford-Boerenfox met een eigen karakter. Door haar leerde ik omgaan met honden die niet altijd goed overweg kunnen met soortgenoten. Ze was niet dol op andere honden, maar een echte lieverd voor mensen. Dankzij haar heb ik geleerd hoe belangrijk geduld, duidelijkheid en respect voor een dier zijn. In de jaren daarna heb ik op allerlei dieren gepast: van konijnen tot kaketoes, van een Senegal papegaai tot katten en honden. Die afwisseling heeft me veel geleerd over dierengedrag, verzorging én communicatie met baasjes. Op dit moment laat ik nog steeds Doezel uit, die nu bij mijn zus woont. Daarnaast woon ik samen met mijn twee katten, Misty en Skye, die een veilig, katvriendelijk thuis met mij delen. Wat mij onderscheidt? ➡️ Mijn brede ervaring met verschillende diersoorten. ➡️ Mijn vermogen om ook met moeilijkere honden om te gaan. ➡️ En mijn rustige, zorgzame aanpak waarbij elk dier op zijn eigen tempo mag zijn wie het is. Van maandag tot en met donderdag werk ik 36 uur per week en ben ik meestal rond 17.00 uur weer thuis. In de avonden en in het weekend heb ik dus alle ruimte om met aandacht en rust voor huisdieren te zorgen. Die momenten gebruik ik graag om extra tijd en liefde te geven aan de dieren die ik verzorg. Bij mij thuis wonen twee katten: Misty en Skye. Ik woon in een appartement dat volledig katvriendelijk is ingericht. Zo hebben ze een grote krabpaal met geïntegreerde kattenbak, en is het balkon veilig afgesloten met kattengaas. Op die manier kunnen ze op mooie dagen ook veilig van buiten genieten.

Over: Al vanaf jongs af aan al grote liefde voor dieren, veel met dieren gewerkt, nu werk ik met honden, ik vind het altijd heel leuk om met honden te werken, ik heb ook ervaring met medicijnen toedienen, ik ben niet snel ergens bang voor Ik werk nu met vaste dagen en dat zijn er nu 3 dus ik heb genoeg tijd over voor wat extra's ik wil mensen graag helpen als ze dat nodig hebben Helaas kan ik geen huis oppas bieden omdat ik samen met mijn vriend in een kleine studio woon en wij al een kitten hebben die we goed moeten opvoeden en alles moeten leren

I have cared for: My Labrador ( very active , 4 yrs) My friend’s Samoyed ( friendly but very heavy ,2 yrs) My cat ( adopted 2 yrs) My hamster ( 1.5 yrs) I can do daily walk, playing, feeding and cleaning, basic pet hygiene and medicine giving if needed. I am currently a master student at Delft. I will be living here for the next 2 years, so long-term care is possible. My Wednesday and Friday is without any classes, and also in the rest of the week I have time after 6:00 p.m..Morning time would also be possible if contact with me in advance. I am currently living at student accommodation so I feel sorry about not offering the service at my place. But at the owner’s home, I make sure to follow the routines and instructions carefully.Meanwhile I also know a lot of place for pets to enjoy, for example by river or in botanical garden.

How I Care for Pets in a Pet Owner's Home Pet Sitting: Routine and comfort are important so I adhere to your pet’s regular schedule to ensure minimal disruption to their routine. This includes feeding times, walks, playtime, and bedtime. Depending on the environment, I keep your home clean and safe, ensuring that your pet has a comfortable space to relax. I also ensure that their living areas are tidy and their food and water bowls are clean. I provide plenty of love and attention, making sure your pet feels secure and happy in your absence. This includes cuddles, playtime, and regular check-ins. If your pet has specific needs and needs special care, such as medication or special dietary requirements, I am diligent in meeting those needs. Scheduled Visits: I visit your home at agreed times to provide food, water, and bathroom breaks. I also offer playtime and companionship during these visits. I would also check on your pet’s overall health and well-being, looking for any signs of discomfort or illness. If I notice anything unusual, I will inform you immediately. Exercise and stimulation are key aspects to ensuring a comfortable and safe fur-baby For dogs, this includes a walk or playtime in your yard. For cats, this involves interactive play to keep them mentally stimulated. Dog Walking: I provide regular walks tailored to your dog’s energy level and needs. This includes brisk walks for active dogs and gentle strolls for senior pets. Safety First: I prioritise your pet’s safety, using secure leashes and harnesses. I also avoid high-traffic areas and other potential hazards. Attention and Care: During walks, I give your dog my full attention, ensuring they are comfortable and enjoying their time outdoors.

Over: My life turns around dogs since I was a child 🫶🏼. I have two beautiful 14 years old chihuahuas and my family owns a dog hotel back in my home country (Mexico 🇲🇽). During the summers I used to work at the dog hotel with all kind of dogs, I usually took the dogs to hikes on the forest. I’m working in hybrid mode, therefore I have a quite flexible schedule where I can work from anywhere. For walks I am more free after 6 or before 10 I’m really careful with the doggies and make them feel like home while their owners are away. I take them for walks at least three times a day.

Over: I’ve had pets for 17+ years—dogs, cats, even a guinea pig. Got my first dog, a Toy Poodle, when I was 9. Took care of her every day until she passed at 17—this year. I also had an Akita, so I’m used to handling big dogs too. I’m especially good with senior dogs. I notice small changes, help them stay comfortable, and I’m super patient. I really enjoy walking dogs and always keep an eye out if they seem off or unwell. Took care of cats for a couple of years too—love how chill they are. Every pet’s different, and I always try to make them feel safe and at home. To me, pets aren’t just animals. They’re family. I’m free all day on weekdays, so pet care fits in easily.
