“I have known Gabriella for more than 20 years and can confidently say she is OUTSTANDING with dogs. She was wonderful with an eight year old dog we adopted that had never been on a leash; and equally awesome with a feral Akita. You couldn't make eye contact with that dog; or it would bolt over the fence. But Gabriella would sit a few feet to the side of the dog, and slowly move sideways, until she could calmly get the leash attached. She understood pulling the leash, to make the dog come, was not an option; and she patiently talked to the dog, offering small treats we provided, to "win" the trust. We have a 14 year old dog, mostly deaf and blind, but the dog acts like a puppy when he realizes Gabriella is coming up the driveway. Enthusiastic and clumsy! Although primarily hired to help with the dogs, when Gabriella found out we had a shy cat, under the bed; she made every effort to befriend the cat, too. To be honest I would trust her with any pet. I was hoping she was going to go to Veterinary school, but alas she prefers being with dogs for her passion; but professionally made other choices. She is 100% trustworthy and if she was coming back to the states, I would hire her again.”

Over: I fell in love with dogs when I was 3 and met my aunt’s border collie puppy. 20 years later I am still obsessed with dogs of all shapes and sizes and they tend to love me too! This year my family in the UK finally got a dog so I have experience with puppy energy and training. I have also regularly looked after my friend’s two dogs, feeding, walking, training and playing with them. I am confident around all dogs no matter the breed or age. I really enjoy being outside so having a dog companion to join me would be great! Also, I have done some Dutch courses so I know the commands to give 'Dutch' dogs in their own language :) I am a student at Leiden University and am writing my thesis this semester so am either studying at home or in the library as I have limited classes making me available most of the day to for home visits or walks. I think having a good bond with your dog is important which I like to establish through positive reinforcement and encouragement. I will also follow any rules and training that you have implemented with your dog.

“Beatriz is a good friend of mine who I’ve known for a while. She is a kind, loving person and she loves dogs. She’s always talking about her beautiful small dog from home who’s name is Lola, and she is responsible in the sense that she has taken well care of Lola and she’s met my dog from home when I needed help with tasks when no one else was home. She cleaned around his eyes because he tends to get little sleep buggers and tear stains, because of his breed. She loves to go on walks and would be a great help in walking dogs as her companion for the walk. She is clean and organised and she manages time very well, meaning she can make a lot of room for time with anyone’s lucky dog! Over: My name is mari, iam 19 years old, im a student. I love pets espaccialy dogs and cats. In my island Bonaire i have 5 dogs and 2 cats. I love spending time with animals. Its feel so good and relaxing. I live currently in the hague. For me it will be good to work on friday, saturday and sunday. We can also talk and see what we can do for others day! For me time spending with dogs isnt wasted. I have experience with dog with my own dogs and also with others people dogs. I will take good care of your dogs, will play with them. Give them attention. Let them have fun, and let them feel good with me. It will be a plessure for me to take care of them . I have school on monday and tuesday, but i can go in the evenings. I am also free on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. On saturday i have to work. i will definitely play with them, also pet them, give them love and make them feel good around me. I love and feel relaxed to be around pets.

Over: At the age of 3 I was bitten by a Doberman dog. Fortunately I was able to quickly overcome my fear of dogs thanks to the fact that my mother loves animals and wanted me not to live with that fear from such a young age. That's how some time later with my mom we adopted a puppy from the street. It was a beautiful experience, because the dog was pure love and as grateful as we were that he entered our family. We bathed him for the first time, we cut his hair, and we started a treatment to cure him of scabies. Without a doubt, this wonderful childhood experience made me lose my fear and love animals. I am a freelance photographer, I can easily manage my schedules, I am available to take care of pets in the week and on the weekends. I can take care of the pets in your house without problem. Take them for a walk, and even do a special photo session for them :)
